Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygiene mask which has a planar mask main body and yet adheres to the surface of the face when worn and sufficiently functions as the hygiene mask, and which can be manufactured inexpensively. <P>SOLUTION: The hygiene mask consists of: the mask body (1) which is formed of gauze, cotton, etc. and has a flat shape; and ear-hook cords (10 and 10) fitted to both side parts (3 and 3) of the mask body (1), wherein a nose fitter (4) and cheek fitters (5 and 5) each made of a shape memory member are fitted to the upper edge part (2) and both side parts (3 and 3) of the mask body (1) respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

Description

  The present invention relates to a sanitary mask composed of a planar mask main body that covers a predetermined portion such as a nose and a mouth, and ear straps such as rubber strings attached to both sides of the mask main body.

  As is well known, a mask body of a sanitary mask having a predetermined area covering a predetermined portion such as a nose and a mouth is made of a mask fabric, a filter fabric attached to the fabric, and the like. And the ear strap which consists of a rubber string is attached to the both sides of the main body. Therefore, when the ear strap is also put on the ear, a predetermined face such as mouth and nose can be covered with the mask body, and a predetermined purpose is achieved.

  Many such sanitary masks have been proposed as sanitary tools that block the entry of pollen, bacteria, viruses, and the like. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a sanitary mask in which an upper portion of a mask main body is once bent inward and downward, then bent inward and upward again, and a wire is attached to the leading edge of the folded portion. In addition, side covering fabric is sewn on both sides of the sanitary mask. Patent Document 2 discloses a sanitary mask in which a core material made of a shape memory polymer is attached to an upper edge portion of a mask main body.

   In the sanitary mask proposed by Patent Document 1, since the wire is attached to the upper edge, the mask main body has a flat shape, but prevents the outside air from entering the short circuit from the upper edge. In addition, it is recognized that the short circuit of exhalation is also prevented. However, since both sides of the mask body are sewn with side padding fabric and no special measures are taken, the outside air or exhalation is shorted from the side as described in detail below. Is expected to be damaged. Further, according to the sanitary mask proposed by Patent Document 2, since the core material made of the shape memory polymer is attached to the upper edge portion of the mask body, the upper edge portion of the mask body is in close contact with the nasal bridge, at least Short-circuiting from the nasal bridge seems to be prevented. However, similarly to the invention described in Patent Document 1, there is a possibility that the outside air or exhalation may be short-circuited from the side.

  Hereinafter, the reason why outside air or exhalation short-circuits from both sides of the mask body will be described mainly with reference to FIG. As shown in Patent Documents 1 and 2, the mask body is made of mask fabric, that is, gauze, cotton, etc., but generally has a flat shape. On the other hand, the face of the human body is uneven due to the nasal bridge, cheekbones, lips and the like. Therefore, the planar mask body does not necessarily adhere to the face. Further, a gap is also generated depending on the positional relationship between the distance between the attachment portions of the ear straps and the size of the ear. That is, FIG. 2 is a side view showing a state in which the conventional sanitary mask 20 is mounted, but as shown in FIG. Although attached, the distance D between the attachment portions of the ear straps 22 and 22 is larger than the size “d” of the ear “E”. Therefore, due to the tension of the ear straps 22, 22, a component force that pulls each other in the direction of arrow A is generated on the side of the mask body 21. However, three-dimensional sanitary masks have also been proposed. If the mask body is three-dimensional, it fits to some extent, but the face shape or size varies between individuals and is not always satisfactory. In addition, a three-dimensional mask is expected to be expensive and is not suitable for disposable use. Furthermore, since it is three-dimensional and bulky, the distribution cost may increase.
An object of the present invention is to provide a sanitary mask that solves the above-described conventional problems. Specifically, the mask body is planar, but when it is worn, it adheres closely to the face and serves as a sanitary mask. An object of the present invention is to provide a sanitary mask that exhibits its function sufficiently and can be manufactured at low cost.

  In the present invention, in order to achieve the above object, shape memory members are attached to the upper edge and both sides of the mask body. That is, in order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 is a flat mask body formed of gauze, cotton or the like, and an ear strap attached to both sides of the mask body. A nose footer and a cheek footer made of a shape memory member are respectively attached to the upper edge portion and both side portions of the mask main body. According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the sanitary mask according to the first aspect, the shape memory member is a shape memory polymer.

  As described above, according to the present invention, the mask main body has a planar shape, but a nose footer and a cheek footer made of shape memory members are attached to the upper edge and both sides thereof, respectively. Fits well regardless of the uneven shape, size, etc. Therefore, an effect peculiar to the present invention that the outside air and the exhaled air pass through the mask body and does not short-circuit is obtained. In addition, since the mask body has a flat shape, it can be manufactured at a relatively low cost, and an effect of reducing the distribution cost can be obtained.

  Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. The sanitary mask according to this embodiment also includes a mask main body 1 having a substantially square planar shape as in the known sanitary mask. A pair of ear straps 10 and 10 made of, for example, rubber strings are attached to both side portions 3 and 3 of the mask body 1.

  The mask body 1 is made of various materials. For example, it can be formed in a laminated structure from gauze and cotton. Or it can also form in the laminated structure which provided the filter between mask fabrics. A filter containing glass wool and activated carbon, or an antibacterial or deodorized ceramic filter can be applied. Both side edges 3 and 3 of the mask main body 1 made of such a material are folded back and sewn with ear straps 10 and 10 taken in. Thereby, the mask main body 1 and the ear straps 10 and 10 are integrated.

  According to the present embodiment, the nose footer 4 made of a shape memory member such as a shape memory metal or a shape memory polymer is formed on the upper edge portion 2 and both side portions 3 and 3 of the mask main body 1 configured as described above. The cheek footers 5 and 5 are attached by, for example, sewing so as not to be visible from the outside. According to the present embodiment, the shape memory member is not provided at the lower end portion 6 of the mask body 1. Wrinkles and the like generated when the mask main body 1 is worn escape from the lower end portion 6 where the shape memory member is not provided. According to the present embodiment, the cheek footers 5 and 5 are provided on both side portions 3 and 3 of the mask body 1, so that a gap is generated between the both side portions 3 and 3 of the mask body 1 and the cheek C.
