Abstract

Description
Claims (10)
- モバイル装置用のセルラー通信ネットワークで使用するための統合型基地局であって、
媒体アクセス制御層と物理的な層で構成されるプロトコル・スタックを含む通信用プロセッサを有する統合型基地局。 - 前記通信用プロセッサがさらに、前記プロトコル・スタックに付随する単一のバッファを含み、それが有線と無線のチャンネルの間でデータ・ユニットを待ち行列に入れるように構成される、請求項1に記載の統合型基地局。
- 前記バッファが前記プロトコル・スタックの最上部の上に配置される、請求項2に記載の統合型基地局。
- 前記プロトコル・スタックが、それへの送信のためにモバイル装置が選択されるときに基づいて前記データ・ユニットのうちの少なくとも1つに関してタイムリー・データを作り出すように構成される、請求項2に記載の統合型基地局。
- 前記プロトコル・スタックが、それへの送信のためにモバイル装置が選択されるときに前記データ・ユニットのうちの少なくとも1つに関してタイムリー・データを作り出すだけのために構成される、請求項2に記載の統合型基地局。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプロトコル層が、前記プロトコル・スタックによって処理されるデータ・ユニットが無線装置への送信中に失われるときに前記媒体アクセス層の上のプロトコル層に通知するように構成される、請求項1に記載の統合型基地局。
- 前記プロトコル・スタックが前記媒体アクセス制御層の上に、
パケットデータ・コンバージェンス・プロトコル層、および
無線リンク制御層で構成されるグループから選択される少なくとも1つの層を有する、請求項1に記載の統合型基地局。 - 前記媒体アクセス制御層と前記物理的な層の間に入る少なくとも1つのプロトコル層をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の統合型基地局。
- モバイル装置用の通信システム内でコア・ネットワークとモバイル装置との間でデータ・ユニットを送信する方法であって、
統合型基地局で前記コア・ネットワークまたは前記モバイル装置のどちらかからデータ・ユニットを受信する工程と、
前記コア・ネットワークと前記モバイル装置との間の直接送信のために前記統合型基地局で前記データ・ユニットに必要なプロトコルを供給する工程と、
前記必要なプロトコルを有する前記データ・ユニットを前記コア・ネットワークまたは前記モバイル装置へと送信する工程とを含む方法。 - 前記モバイル装置からの入力が無く、前記モバイル装置への送信中に前記データ・ユニットが失われるときを認知する工程をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
