斯くして、コイルスプリング52とカード一との間には隙間516のみが介在する構造として、コイルスプリング52の暴れる挙動を防止するためのガイド壁の如くの構造物は存在しないようにしたので、それだけコネクタの幅方向(図1において左右の方向)の小型化の障害をなくすることができる。コネクタの長手方向(図1において上下の方向)についても、コイルスプリング52がスライド部材51の本体部511の延長方向ではなく、本体部511の横方向に隣接するように配置される構造となるので、カード1の挿入完了状態を表している図3において、カード1の前端面8からハウジング10の後壁16までの距離Xを可及的に短くすることが可能で、コネクタの長手方向の小型化にも寄与することができる。   Thus, as a structure in which only the gap 516 is interposed between the coil spring 52 and the card 1, there is no structure such as a guide wall for preventing the coil spring 52 from violating. 前記スライド部材(51)が、カード挿入部(40)に挿入されたカード(1)の側縁部と係合してカード(1)と一体となってカード(1)の挿入、排出方向でスライド可能とされ、
前記コイルスプリング(52)が、スライド部材(51)がカード(1)の挿入方向にスライドした際に圧縮され、その弾発力がスライド部材(51)をカード(1)の排出方向に付勢するようにされているカード用コネクタにおいて、
