Claims (10)

An accepting means for accepting information identifying a classification of program content;
A tuner that receives a video / audio signal of a program, and information indicating any one of a time at which broadcasting of each of a plurality of continuous programs starts and a time at which broadcasting ends;
A hard disk drive for recording data including multiple programs,
Configuration means for configuring individual program data for each of the plurality of programs using the recording data and information indicating either the time to start broadcasting and the time to end broadcasting for each of the plurality of programs;
Identifying means for identifying a program to be deleted using information for identifying a classification of the content of the program;
A hard disk recorder comprising: deletion means for deleting at least part of the individual program data of the program specified by the specifying means.
