Description

The present invention relates to a sanitary paper product having both softness and strength.

In recent years, as for sanitary paper products such as facial tissue and toilet paper, many lotion tissue and lotion toilet paper with higher flexibility have been sold.
These lotion tissues include those containing a humectant such as glycerin as a main component, those containing a softening agent such as quaternary ammonium as a main component, and those containing an oil such as silicon as a main component. There is something that uses both.
In Japan, products in which a sheet containing a humectant such as glycerin as a main component is applied, impregnated or sprayed onto a sheet are mainly used.
A product using a moisturizing agent has a high moisture content in the sheet, which makes it feel more moist and improves flexibility. However, when the moisture content of the sheet increases, hydrogen bonding between pulp fibers, which is a factor for expressing the strength of paper, decreases, and the sheet strength decreases.
Conventional lotion tissue and lotion toilet paper have suffered from problems such as a decrease in production efficiency due to paper cutting in the manufacturing process due to a decrease in sheet strength and a pop-up failure in product use.

An object of the present invention is to provide a lotion tissue and a lotion toilet paper whose strength does not decrease even when the flexibility of the sheet is improved. In addition, tissue papers that have been subjected to lotion treatment cannot avoid an increase in cost due to the use of chemicals and the complexity of the processing steps, but the cost of the lotion treatment has also been improved.

The present invention relates to a sanitary paper product characterized by using a chemical solution comprising sorbitol 20 to 80 wt% and glycerin 80 to 20 wt%. Moreover, this invention relates to what used the chemical | medical solution which consists of sorbitol 40-75 wt% and glycerol 25-60 wt%.

Furthermore, the present invention relates to a lotion tissue having both softness and strength, and to a sheet in which a humectant is applied, impregnated or sprayed.

As the current moisturizer for lotion tissue, polyglycerin glycerin is the mainstream. I did it.
When the blending ratio of sorbitol is increased, the flexibility (hand feel = HF) is somewhat decreased as compared with glycerin alone, but the rate of increase in strength is large. That is, HF is reduced by 3 to 8%, but strength is improved by 20 to 50%. What is particularly characteristic of the combined use is that HF is reduced to 50% sorbitol, but further increases to about 80%. The strength is improved in proportion to the increase in the sorbitol content.
From the above results, sorbitol and glycerin are used in combination with the humectant lotion tissue, and the mixing ratio of sorbitol in that case is 20 to 80%, preferably 40 to 75%.

By using glycerin and sorbitol together as a moisturizer for lotion tissue, the strength has been greatly improved while maintaining a high level of flexibility. Quality issues such as pop-up failures were resolved. The synergistic effect of glycerin and sorbitol was remarkably observed at a sorbitol blending ratio of 20 to 80%, particularly 40 to 75%.
In terms of cost, since the unit price of sorbitol is about 35% cheaper than the unit price of glycerin, the chemical solution cost can be reduced by 10 to 20% when used in combination.

The present invention will be described below with reference to examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto.

Our facial tissue, brand name “Scottic Cashmere” is base paper (basis weight = 15 g / m 2 ), and glycerin and sorbitol (Niken Kasei Co., Ltd. liquid cosmetic grade with D-sorbitol content of 63% or more) is 75. : 25, 50:50, 25:75, and 10:90 mixed chemicals were applied to the above base paper at a coating amount of 30%, respectively, and a constant temperature and humidity chamber (temperature 20 ± 2 ° C., humidity 65). The humidity was adjusted for 8 hours or more at ± 5% to obtain samples of Examples 1 to 4. A paper quality test (basis weight, strength, HF) was performed on this sample. The results are shown in Table 1 and FIGS.
Samples were prepared under the same conditions as in the Examples except that the chemical solution was changed to 100% glycerin, and a paper quality test similar to that in the Examples was performed as a comparative example.

These results are shown in FIG. 1 for strength and in FIG. 2 for HF.
As the sorbitol content increases, the strength increases proportionally and the HF decreases, but the sorbitol content increases to 50% to 80%, and the synergistic effect of glycerin and sorbitol is remarkably recognized. It was.
Thereby, the effect of having both softness and strength as a lotion tissue was obtained at a blending ratio of sorbitol of 20 to 80%, particularly 40 to 75%.
