Description

The present invention relates to a method for tailoring a web tip when a web is passed through a printing press by a paper threading device of a rotary printing press.

A conventional paper thread tailoring method will be described with reference to FIGS. 9A is an operation side guiding body 2a, FIG. 9B is a tailoring procedure for attaching the operation side guiding body 2a to the operation side end of the web tip, and FIG. 10 is another shape 1 (the driving side guiding body 2b is a paper width). FIG. 11 is a tailoring procedure diagram (attached slightly closer to the driving side than the center), and FIG. 11 is a tailoring procedure diagram of another shape 2 (attaching the driving-side guide body 2b ′ to the driving-side end).

As shown in FIGS. 9A and 10A, the conductors 2a and 2b are obtained by joining a string 2c to a tab 2d or 2e made of a thin resin film or the like, and are prepared and set in advance. When threading, as shown in FIG. 9B, first, an operation side guiding body 2a is prepared, and then a tab 2d of the operation side guiding body 2a is arranged on the web 1 slightly on the operation side end of the web tip 1a. Then, it is pasted with a single-sided adhesive tape 4b for operation side tab pasting. Next, the lower end (rear surface) of the tab 2d and the web 1 are pasted with an operation-side tab sticking single-sided adhesive tape 4c. Next, the hypotenuse reinforcing single-sided adhesive tape 4a is attached to the web 1 along the hypotenuse (marked with asterisk) of the guiding body 2a, and finally the oblique portion 1b of the web 1 is cut off. Thus, the web 1 is finished for threading, and the string 2c of the guiding body 2a is attached to the traveling body 6 of a paper threading device (not shown) to thread the web.

Further, when using the paper threading device traveling body 6 on the operation side and the driving side, when the web 1 is slit in the middle of the printing machine and the driving side passes through a turning bar (not shown), the tailoring shown in FIG. If it does not pass the turning bar, the tailoring shown in FIG. 11 is performed.
In the case of FIG. 10, the hypotenuse (marked with asterisk) of the tab 2e of the drive side conductor 2b in FIG. 10A is arranged slightly along the oblique side created in FIG. 9C, slightly closer to the drive side than the center of the web width. Affixed to the web with a drive side tab affixing single-sided adhesive tape 4d.

In the case of FIG. 11, tailoring that is symmetrical to the operation side tailoring created in FIG. 9C is performed on the drive side. The oblique side reinforcing single-sided adhesive tape 4a may be a little past the center of the web, and the illustrated triangular portion 1b 'of the web 1 is cut off.

At this time, if the single-sided adhesive tapes 4a, 4b, 4c, and 4d are prepared by cutting them to the required lengths in advance, they can easily stick to each other and the surrounding ones, or twist. , Cut and paste. However, even at the time of work, the adhesive tape itself often sticks or sticks to a place other than the place where it is attached. For this reason, it is impossible to apply the adhesive tape once, and the adhesive tape is applied to the approximate portion many times. In addition, when pasted to an unscheduled place, it is difficult to correct, and often it is possible to change it.

Also, since it sticks as soon as it hits, it is difficult to stick it at the correct position. If the paper is passed through without being attached at the correct position, the web 1 may be broken in the middle of paper passing and the paper cannot be passed.
In addition, when the single-sided adhesive tape 4b, 4c, or 4d attached to the guiding member tab 2d or 2e is peeled off after the end of the paper threading, the adhesive tape is often applied to the approximate portion many times, so the time to remove the adhesive portion In addition, it does not peel off cleanly, remains as a residue, accumulates, causes wrinkles on the web when tailoring paper, and may be easily broken when tension is applied during paper passage. Therefore, there is a problem that it must be peeled off for a long time or replaced with a new one.

FIG. 12 shows a case where the web 1 or the tab 2d of the guiding body is directly attached to the traveling body 6 of the paper threading device. FIG. 12A is a method of applying with a single-sided adhesive tape 4, and as described above, it is difficult to determine the application position, the tape 4 is easily attached to an unscheduled place, and the adhesive tape 4 is applied to the approximate portion many times. There are many things and workability is bad. FIG. 12B shows a method of attaching with the double-sided adhesive tape 7, and after passing through the paper, the adhesive 6 and the attached web 1 are attached to the traveling body 6, and it takes time to peel off in the same manner as described above. In other words, the residue remains attached, accumulates, wrinkles are generated on the web when tailored, and the web may be easily broken when tension is applied. Therefore, there is a problem that it must be peeled off for a long time or replaced with a new one.

For example, as shown in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 08-090750, tailoring in paper threading is shown in which the web 1 is directly attached to the traveling body 6 with a double-sided adhesive tape. If the double-sided adhesive tape is difficult to peel off, the web 1 will be attached with an adhesive, and it will take time to peel off, and it will be difficult to correctly attach the web. There is a problem that it becomes expensive when renewing.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 08-090750

Therefore, the adhesive tape 4 is often applied to the approximate portion many times, and the work takes time.
This makes it difficult to prepare in advance, and it is difficult to sufficiently shorten the work time.
It is difficult to paste it in the correct position, and it is easy to break in the middle of threading due to improper attachment.
Although the tab 2d or 2e or the traveling body 6 is reused, it takes time to remove the adhesive portion, and if it cannot be removed sufficiently, it needs to be replaced, and the traveling body 6 is expensive.

Similarly, tailoring is also created on the drive side of the web 1 in the same manner as in FIG. The oblique portion 1b of the web 1 is cut off.

(Second Embodiment)
A second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
Instead of the guiding body 3 used in the first embodiment, a guiding body 2a or 2b using tabs 2d or 2e is used.

As shown in FIG. 6A, the guiding body 2a is obtained by joining the cord 2c to the tab 2d as in the prior art, and strips the release paper 514a1 in advance at the surface position shifted from the lower side of the tab 2d. Adhesive tape 514 is attached in parallel to the lower side, and a release paper 515a1 is peeled off and a single-sided adhesive tape with divided release paper 515 is attached to the back of the lower side of the tab 2d.
When starting the paper threading, as shown in FIG. 6C, the operation side (when the traveling body 6 for paper threading is installed on the operation side) of the tip 1a of the web 1 is connected to the tab 2d and the divided release paper. The paper is placed so as to be inserted between the single-sided adhesive tape 514 and the release paper 514 a 2, and after the positioning, the release paper 514 a 2 is attached to the peeling web 1. Next, the release paper 515a2 of the single-sided adhesive tape 515 with divided release paper is attached to the web 1 in the same manner as peeling. Then, the single-sided adhesive tape 4a is affixed diagonally along the oblique side (marked by the asterisk) of the tab 2d to the web 1, and the front end side oblique part 1b of the web is cut off along the affixed tape 4a. This completes the tailoring, and attaches the other end of the string 2c of the guiding body 2d to the paper threading traveling body 6 for paper threading.

Further, when the traveling body 6 is on both the operation side and the drive side, the center of the web 1 is cut by a slitter in the middle and passed through different paths, and the drive side web 1 passes through a turning bar (not shown). As shown in FIG. 7A, in addition to the tailoring made in FIG. 6B, the single-sided adhesive tapes 516 and 517 with the divided release paper are attached in advance in the same manner as described above to the drive side slightly from the center in the width direction. After positioning the guiding body 2b peeled off and pasted on the tab 2e, the remaining release paper is peeled off and pasted to create a tailoring. The string 2c of the drive-side guiding body 2b is attached to the drive-side traveling body 6 for paper threading.

When the traveling body 6 is on both the operation side and the driving side, the center of the web 1 is cut by a slitter in the middle and passed through different paths, and the driving side does not pass the turning bar as shown in FIG. 7B. The web drive side tailoring is prepared in the same manner as in FIG. 6C, and the string 2c of the drive side guiding body 2b is attached to the drive side traveling body 6 for paper threading.

In the case of the second embodiment, the adhesive tape attached to the tab 2d is not pasted with the adhesive tape 4 on the approximate portion many times in the past, so that the adhesive can be easily removed. Since it can be prepared by cutting it to an appropriate length and affixing it to the tab 2d or 2e, the preparation time can be greatly reduced, and since it is a tape with release paper, it is affixed in an accurate position. Work becomes possible.

(Third embodiment)
A third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
