Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide handrails held by a sickly weak in a sitting posture for retaining the sitting position, standing up and pulling himself/herself up in a bed wherein the sickly weak is in a sitting state with his/her legs dangling on a floor. <P>SOLUTION: The bed handrails incorporates handrails extending to positions of the shoulder length and the back of the human body, and handrails extending to the foot side of the human body in the handrails attached to the both side frames of the bed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

Description

The present invention relates to a bed used by a sick person.

In a sitting position on a bed that is in a seated state with the legs hanging down on the floor surface, the bed is so wide that the disabled may not be able to grasp the handrail provided on the bed, and thus the sitting position may not be maintained.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a handrail that enables a sick person to perform sitting maintenance, stand up, and stand up in a sitting position on a bed that is in a sitting state with his feet hanging down on the floor.

In a sitting position in a bed that sits on the floor with its legs hanging down, a handrail (2) up to the shoulder width and back position of the human body is first attached or built into the handrail attached to both sides of the bed. Can hold the handrail, maintain the sitting position, and get up.

From a sitting position in a bed that is in a seated state with the feet hanging down on the floor surface, handrails attached to the frame on both sides of the bed can be attached to or extended from the handrails of the human body so that the disabled can grab and stand.

  Although not shown in the drawing, the handrail (1) and the handrail (2) and the handrail (3) can be integrated into a handrail, and the handrail (1) can be folded into the handrail (3) by a hinge and stored.

Claims (2)

A handrail in which the handrail of the bed is provided up to the shoulder width of the human body and the position of the back in a bed that is in a sitting state in which a foot is suspended from the floor surface. A handrail in which the handrail of the bed is provided at the shoulder width and back position of the human body and the handrail is extended to the foot side of the human body in a bed that is in a seated state with the feet hanging down on the floor surface.
