従来は、次のような欠点があった。
(イ)アイボルトの場合、取付け面より突出したリング部の占有体積が大きく、又一体形状のため取付場所に他の干渉物がない事等の制約があった。
(ロ)アイボルトを複数使用する場合、それぞれのリングの向きを任意方向とする事はリング部とねじ部が一体形状のため、ねじ込み量を加減しない限り不可能である。
ねじ込み量を加減すると、その保証荷重を確保する事が出来ない。
(ハ)2方向に回転する従来の吊りフックの場合、いずれかの方向に偏芯があるため偏荷重がかかり、強度上及び吊下げ状態の安定性上より問題があった。
(ニ)一般的に吊りフックは、2個以上取付けて使用される事が多く、又その取付けられる面方向も一定しない。
このため吊りフックの取付面と吊り下げ方向によっては、非常に大なる危険状態が発生する場合がある。

(ホ)図5はストップボルト(5)の二面図を示す。
対象重量物に対する耐荷重を有し、回転リング1(2)の抜け止め機能を持つものである。
(ヘ)図6は請求項1の場合の取付回転動作状態三面図を示す。
図示のように回転リング1(2)が取付面に対して平行方向に360度回転する。又、回転ピン受A(3A)と回転ピン受B(3B)及び差し込みピン(4)は、回転リング1(2)の2本の同芯軸を基点として約200度の回転が可能である。
(ト)図7は本体金具2(10)の二面図を示す。
中心部に段付ボルト(12)を挿入するための貫通穴を有している。
(チ)図8は回転リング2(11)の二面図を示す。
2本の同芯軸にはシンブル受リング(13)を介して、シンブル付ワイヤーロープ(14)が嵌め込まれる。
(リ)図9は段付ボルト(12)の二面図を示す。

(ハ)吊り下げる方向に対して死角となる方位に、他の取付突出部所が存在しても、これを制限する必要がない。
(ニ)対象重量物を吊り下げた状態にて反転させる場合、それぞれの吊り方向及び吊り力のバランスが変動しても、これに無理なく対応が可能である。
