Claims (3)

前記感光体ドラムの回転方向の前記現像手段よりも下流側の所定の転写位置において、前記感光体ドラムの表面に対向するように設けられ、記録紙の表面を帯電させて、前記感光体ドラムの表面に形成されたトナー像を記録紙の上に転写させる転写手段と、
トナー像が転写された記録紙に所定の熱及び圧力を与えてトナー像を記録紙上に定着させる定着手段と、
上記各手段を被うキャビネット部材と、
このキャビネット部材に開閉自在に設けられ、開放された状態で記録紙が装填される給紙トレイと、
この給紙トレイに装填されている記録紙のうち、最外のものを送出し、前記転写位置に搬送する搬送手段と、
前記給紙トレイに略平行に、かつ記録紙の搬送方向にスライド移動自在に設けられ、該給紙トレイに装填されている記録紙の後端と当接して、搬送時における記録紙の後端の姿勢を規制する記録紙規制部材とを備えたレーザプリンタにおいて、
前記給紙トレイは、トレイ面から略垂直に、かつ記録紙の搬送方向の長さ寸法が搬送方向に直交する方向の長さ寸法よりも長くなるように立設され、スライド移動する際の前記記録紙規制部材をガイドするガイド凸部と有し、
前記記録紙規制部材は、前記ガイド凸部が係合されるガイド溝と、このガイド溝の一部において該ガイド凸部を軸として該記録紙規制部材が回動し得るように、該ガイド溝の側面から円弧状に切り欠かれた一対の切り欠き部と、記録紙の搬送方向における後端部に、記録紙の後端と当接する記録紙後端当接部とを有し、
