Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an electronic musical instrument, and in particular, to control of an output path of a musical sound signal to a plurality of output terminals provided in the electronic musical instrument.
FIG. 4 is a conceptual block diagram for explaining an example of use of a conventionally known keyboard-type electronic musical instrument of the type shown in Non-Patent
The loop
As shown in FIG. 4, the user of the electronic musical instrument connects the
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 4, when an
On the other hand, when a jack is not inserted into the loop send
As another usage of the keyboard-type electronic musical instrument, when the musical tone signal generated by the electronic musical instrument
However, the configuration of the conventional electronic musical instrument as shown in FIG. 4 cannot meet the above demand. For example, when the above-described usage is performed in the conventional configuration, even if an audio signal is output from the loop
On the other hand, the keyboard-type electronic musical instrument of the type shown in FIG. 4 has an advantage that the configuration of the signal output circuit is extremely simple because the signal output system is limited to the minimum necessary scale. Contrary to this advantage, providing a separate output terminal (so-called line-out output terminal) for realizing the usage of connecting the keyboard-type electronic musical instrument to the mixer makes the configuration of the signal processing circuit complicated and the instrument body This is not preferable because various problems such as an increase in the terminal arrangement portion area and the number of parts and a complicated configuration as a musical instrument may occur. That is, there is a demand for a method for extending the usage of a musical instrument while maintaining the configuration (number of terminals provided on the back of the main body and the arrangement thereof) and functions of a conventional keyboard-type electronic musical instrument.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described points, and can be implemented without any particular change in the configuration (number of terminals provided on the back of the main body, its arrangement, etc.) and functions of a conventional keyboard-type electronic musical instrument. In other words, the purpose is to expand the usage of keyboard-type electronic musical instruments without increasing the number of output terminals for outputting musical sound signals.
The present invention provides a musical sound generating means for generating a musical sound signal, first and second output sections for outputting a musical sound signal, an input section for inputting a musical sound signal from the outside, and an output from the second output section. An adjustment means for adjusting the level of the musical sound signal to be played, and for switching the output path of the musical sound signal to the first and second output sections, which are generated by the musical tone generation means from the first output section. A first output path for outputting a musical sound signal input from the input unit from the second output unit via the adjustment unit, and a first output unit from the second output unit Among the second output paths for outputting the tone signal generated by the tone generation means and outputting at least the tone signal generated by the tone generation means from the second output section via the adjustment means. Either output An electronic musical instrument and an output path switching means for switching the road.
According to this invention, the output path switching means for switching the output path of the musical sound signal to the first and second output sections outputs the musical sound signal generated by the musical sound generation means from the first output section. On the other hand, the second output unit generates a tone signal input from the input unit via the adjustment unit, and the tone generation unit generates the tone signal from the first output unit. One of the second output paths for outputting the generated musical tone signal and outputting at least the musical tone signal generated by the musical tone generating means from the second output section via the adjusting means. Switch to. As a result, the electronic musical instrument can expand the usage of the musical instrument without increasing the number of output terminals. That is, when switching to the first output path, the tone signal generated by the tone generation means is output from the first output unit, while the external signal connected to the first output unit. By inputting the musical tone signal after signal processing by the processing device or the like to the input unit, the signal after signal processing by the external signal processing device or the like is output from the second output unit via the adjustment unit. You can use a musical instrument. Further, when switching to the second output path, the tone signal generated by the tone generation unit is output from the first output unit, and at the same time, at least the tone generation unit is output from the second output unit. It is possible to use the musical sound signal generated in step (1) by appropriately adjusting the level via the adjusting means and outputting it. In the latter case, the output signals of the first output unit and the second output unit are the same signal (musical sound signal generated by the musical sound generating means), but only the output of the second output unit is independent. The output level can be adjusted. Therefore, the musical tone signal itself generated by the musical tone generator is output from the first output terminal to an external mixer without performing unnecessary level adjustment, and at the same time, the musical tone signal generated by the musical tone generator is set to a desired level. In this state, the signal can be output from the second output terminal and monitored by a speaker, headphones, or the like. As described above, according to the present invention, the configuration of a simple signal output circuit in which the signal output system is reduced to the necessary minimum scale, the configuration of the conventional electronic musical instrument (the number of terminals provided in the main body, the arrangement thereof, and the like) and functions The musical tone signal generated by the musical tone generation means can be output simultaneously from another output terminal in two states of fixed level and level adjustment, that is, the usage of the electronic musical instrument can be expanded. The expansion of how to use the electronic musical instrument can be realized by following the conventional musical instrument structure and circuit configuration or the design and function of the conventional musical instrument, so that it is possible to suppress the development cost and to achieve an excellent effect of being efficient.
An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the embodiment described below, an example in which the present invention is applied to a keyboard-type electronic musical instrument of the type shown in FIG. 4 will be described.
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a schematic configuration of various terminal arrangement panels provided on the back of a main body of a keyboard-type electronic musical instrument according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an electrical diagram of the keyboard-type electronic musical instrument according to the first embodiment. It is a block diagram which shows the hardware structural example. In FIG. 1, for convenience of illustration, the arrangement panel P is drawn separately on the left side and the right side, but this may actually be constituted by one panel.
In FIG. 1,

また、通信I/F7を介して、当該電子楽器を各種外部機器7a(例えばパーソナルコンピュータやMIDI機器、ビデオモニター等)に接続して、両者の間でデータの送受信が可能である。
As shown in FIG. 2, the keyboard-type electronic musical instrument includes a
The various programs executed by the
FIGS. 3A and 3B are conceptual block diagrams showing the configuration of the signal output circuit of the keyboard-type electronic musical instrument according to this embodiment. The signal output circuit is configured in the
As shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, the signal output circuit according to this embodiment is provided with an “output path switch” 30 for switching the output path of the signal. FIG. 3A shows a state in which the output
On the other hand, the loop send output system passing through the
Depending on the ON / OFF setting state of the output
By providing the output
The type of signal output from each output terminal according to the combination of the on / off state of the output path switch 30 and the connection to the loop send output terminal 11 (jack insertion) will be described below. State.
(1) When the output
(2) When the output
(3) When the output path change-over
(4) When the output
In the example shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, when a jack is not inserted into the loop send
When the
In the above embodiment, the output level of the signal output from the loop send
