転写手段と分離・除電手段との間に配置される電気的な絶縁材からなる絶縁壁と、
分離手段下流側に配置し、定着手段まで、記録シートをガイドする転写―定着間搬送ガイドと、
記録シート上のトナー像を定着する定着手段とを備え、
像担持体中心と転写手段中心とを結ぶ線上の像坦持体法線方向近傍に分離・除電手段である鋸歯状電極板を配置し、
前記鋸歯状電極板除電部先端が記録シート搬送面へ突出することのないよう形成し、かつ該鋸歯状電極板除電部先端の一部を切欠き、転写―定着間搬送ガイドとオーバーラップするように形成し、電気的な絶縁材からなる第1搬送リブと、
前記鋸歯状電極板除電部先端が記録シート搬送面へ突出することのないよう形成し、かつ該鋸歯状電極板除電部先端を切欠くことがないように形成し、電気的な絶縁材からなる第2搬送リブとを配置し、
