住居用の建物あるいは家具に用いられる木材は自然乾燥により含水率が変化し所謂木ヤセが発生して木材の結合部位にガタが発生することが多々ある。また家具にあっては使用中の加圧による結合部位の摩耗も起因する。
そこで結合部位のボルト、ナットの螺合部の緩みの防止あるいはガタ発生の防止を目的とした多くの提案がなされている。例えば、特開平11−350598「座金及びこの座金を用いた木材の固定構造」、実案登録第3070966号「建築羽子板ボルト緩み防止装置」、特開2001−317528「木やせ対応締付け金物」等が代表的な提案である。これらはいずれも弾性部材のたわみを利用したものである。
従って弾性部材をたわませてその反力によってボルト、ナットの締付けの緩みを防止しようとするものであるので、被締結部材の厚さ寸法の減少とともに当然のことながら締付け力は減少してしまう。それ故緩み防止、ガタの発生の防止に役立つとは思えない。そこで本発明者は特願2002−119936「木材の締結保持装置」にて被締結部材のヤセに対応して常にその締結を強固に保持し続ける装置の発明を開示した。当該装置は締結具と被締結部材間に互に離間する方向に押圧する主バネと、リードカム面をもった二つの円筒カムと、互にカム面が高くなる方向に付勢する回動バネ手段とを備えて、被締結部材のヤセにより発生する隙間を常に剛体により埋めて締結を保持することを特徴とする木材の締結保持装置であった。

部品の構成を図1にて説明する。ナット6には円筒ボス部8とナット形状部7が形成され、円筒ボス部8の外径はナット形状部7の対辺寸法よりやや小さく設定されている。中心にはねじ穴9が設けられている。キャップ10には底面11に穴12があって円筒ボス部8に嵌合している。反対側は開口13している。キャップ円筒部14には長穴15が同一円周上に4ヶ所開けられている。長穴15は円周方向に長穴形状をなしている。リング16はナット6がキャップ10から脱落しないようにキャップ10の内側からナット6の円筒ボス部8の溝(図省略)に嵌っている。平座金17はキャップ10の絞り加工上、肩部にRがつくのでそのR形状の影響を除くためのスペーサである。皿ばね18は複数枚、実施例では5枚使用する。皿ばね18は所謂直列に並べるのがよい。たわみ量を多く設定出来るからである。
次に押込みばね板ナット19がありリング状スペーサ22に当接している。押込みばね板ナット19はプッシュナットとも呼ばれるばね板ナット、ファスナーばねの一種である。内径部20が外径平面部21よりやや膨らみもった皿状をなし相手軸への圧入は膨らみと反対側からである。一方には移動容易で反対方向には移動し難い機能を有し一般的に部品の固定に使用されている。例えば内径部20がφ12の押込みばね板ナット19のあるデータによれば、圧入は40kg反対方向は400kgの力を要する。押込みばね板ナット19はナット6の円筒ボス部8の中程に圧入され皿ばね18は外径平面部21を加圧している。
本発明では押込みばね板ナット19の配置方向は図4に示す木部1に当接するリング状スペーサ22側に容易に移動する向きでなくてはならないので、円筒ボス部8への組付けは特別な組付治具を必要とするが本件については、発明とは直接関係ないので説明は省略する。
リング状スペーサ22の外径には円周方向に溝23がある。複数の皿ばね18の積層高さが低くなる方向にリング状スペーサ22を押込みばね板ナット19、皿ばね18と共に加圧する。所定寸法に加圧した時、リング状スペーサ22の溝23の位置とキャップ10の複数の長穴15の位置が軸方向で一致するように設定してあるので針金25を図2、図3に示すようにキャップ長穴15、溝21、再び長穴15と串差しすることにより加圧した状態でユニット5とすることが出来る。針金25は二又形状になっているのでキャップ10の両側各2ヶ所の長穴15に貫通させておく。
