向かい合う挟持要素(11)(12,2)が協働して被挟持物を挟持する構成を有し、少なくとも挟持要素の一方は螺子杆(2)によって進退するものであり、
螺子杆(2)は内面に雌螺子(127)が設けてある螺子杆保持部(124,127,14,144)に保持してあり、螺子杆保持部(124,127,14,144)は軸方向に分割されて固定部(124)と可動部(14)を構成し、可動部(14)を開いて螺子杆(2)の保持状態を解除したときは螺子杆(2)は螺子構造の制約を受けずに進退することができ、可動部(14)を閉じて螺子杆(2)を保持したときは螺子構造の制約を受けて進退するように構成したことを特徴とする、
