Description

The present invention relates to a cloth cutting knife device for a sewing machine.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in a sewing machine, a cloth cutting knife device is known in which a moving knife moves up and down on an upper surface of a needle plate by swinging and rotating a moving knife shaft that supports the moving knife and cuts a cloth together with a fixed knife.

This cloth cutting knife device has a fixed knife mounting base provided on a needle plate, a blade of a fixed knife fixed to the fixed knife mounting base, and a moving knife that is swung and rotated by a moving knife driving mechanism. The cloth conveyed by the conveyance mechanism is sequentially cut by sliding contact with the blade portion.

Here, at the cutting position of the cloth by the fixed knife and the moving knife, cloth waste is generated as the cloth is cut. In order to prevent this cloth waste from accumulating inside the sewing machine, the cloth of the sewing machine has an elastic plate having a free end and a fixed end that are opened and closed intermittently by moving up and down in synchronization with the moving knife. A cutting knife device (for example, see Patent Document 1) or a receiving member whose bottom surface is curved facing the upstream side in the cloth feeding direction in order to discharge cloth waste, below the cutting position of the fixed knife and moving knife. A cloth cutting knife device for a sewing machine has been developed (see, for example, Patent Document 2).
JP 54-163146 A Japanese Examined Patent Publication No. 61-42594

However, in the techniques disclosed in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, even if most of the accumulated cloth waste can be discharged, the problem that fine cloth waste enters the inside of the apparatus from the gap portion of the apparatus is solved. I can't. For this reason, the cloth waste that has entered the inside of the main body of the sewing machine causes a malfunction of the machine, and the apparatus causes seizure due to the cloth waste that has sucked in oil.

Accordingly, the present invention provides a cloth cutting machine for a sewing machine that can reliably remove cloth waste generated when cutting a cloth by a cloth cutting knife device for a sewing machine without accumulating, dropping, or scattering near the cloth cutting knife device. The object is to provide a female device.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention described in claim 1 includes a cloth feeding means for conveying a cloth, a sewing needle that performs sewing while being moved up and down by a vertical drive mechanism, and a needle plate that supports the cloth at a sewing position. A fixed knife installed in the vicinity of the needle drop position of the needle plate, a moving knife provided to be able to cut the cloth by swinging and slidingly contacting the fixed knife, When the cloth is cut by the moving knife and the fixed knife as well as a moving knife driving mechanism that imparts a swinging and rotating operation to the moving knife in conjunction with the driving of the sewing machine and a pipe having an opening. In a cloth cutting knife device of a sewing machine having suction means provided so as to be able to suck and remove the generated cloth waste from the opening, the cloth waste is received at a gap between the moving knife and the opening of the pipe, and the pipe side End face cloth Ri is a cloth cutting knife device of a sewing machine, characterized in that the shape of the downstream side has a cloth scrap guide portion formed in a substantially arcuate shape or elliptical shape.

In the first aspect of the invention, the cloth waste generated when the moving knife oscillated and rotated by the driving mechanism and the fixed knife provided on the needle plate slide to cut the cloth is the moving knife and It is guided to the cloth waste guide provided in the gap with the opening of the pipe and sucked and removed by the suction means. Further, the cloth waste guide portion has an end face on the pipe side and an end face shape on the downstream side in the cloth feeding direction is formed in a substantially arc shape or an elliptical arc shape, so that the shape substantially coincides with the opening portion of the pipe. Therefore, a gap is not easily generated between the opening of the pipe and the cloth cutting position, and the suction force is reliably applied to the cloth cutting position.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect of the invention, the cloth waste guide portion is formed in a substantially arc shape or elliptic arc shape on the upstream side in the cloth feeding direction of the end surface on the pipe side. It is characterized by being.

In the invention described in claim 2, in addition to exhibiting the same effect as that of the invention described in claim 1, cloth waste that cannot be directly sucked immediately after cutting and has scattered or dropped around the cloth waste is a cloth waste guide portion. Is temporarily stored on the upstream side in the cloth feeding direction (that is, a curved portion formed in a substantially arc shape or elliptic arc shape on the lower side of the cloth guide portion). Since the end face shape on the piping side of the cloth waste guide portion is formed in a substantially arc shape or elliptic arc shape on both the upstream side and the downstream side in the cloth feed direction, cloth waste received by the cloth waste guide portion The pipe is reliably guided toward the opening of the pipe without leaking to the upstream and downstream sides.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first or second aspect of the present invention, the cloth waste guide portion is disposed so as to be movable up and down integrally with the moving knife. .

In the invention described in claim 3, the cloth waste guide portion provided in the gap between the moving knife and the opening of the pipe moves up and down integrally with the moving knife in synchronization with the swinging rotation of the moving knife. Therefore, since the gap between the moving knife and the cloth guide is not generated by the swinging and rotating operation of the moving knife, the cloth waste generated when the cloth is cut by the fixed knife and the moving knife is scattered or dropped. Without being done, it is guided to the cloth waste guide part and suctioned and removed by the suction means, or temporarily stored in the cloth waste guide part and then suctioned and removed by the suction means.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the third aspect of the present invention, the end surface of the cloth guide portion and the end surface on the suction means side is the opening at the lowest end position in the vertical movement of the moving knife. It is characterized in that the height coincides with the lower part of.

In the invention according to claim 4, the cloth waste guide portion disposed so as to be movable up and down integrally with the moving knife is an end surface of the cloth waste guide portion, and an end surface on the suction means side is located above and below the moving knife. It moves up and down so that the height coincides with the lower part of the opening of the pipe of the suction means at the lowermost position in the movement. For this reason, the end surface on the suction means side of the cloth waste guide portion does not fall below the lower portion of the opening of the pipe, and the cloth waste received by the cloth waste guide portion is securely leaked by the suction means. Removed by suction.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the end surface shape of the cloth waste guide portion on the side facing the opening portion of the piping of the suction means is substantially arc-shaped or elliptical arc shape so as to coincide with the end surface shape of the opening portion. This makes it difficult for a gap to be formed between the cloth waste guide portion and the opening portion of the pipe, and the loss of suction force can be minimized. Therefore, a sufficient suction force can be applied to the cut portion so as to always suck the cloth waste, and the cloth waste is generated by the cutting and can be surely removed by suction. Thereby, cloth waste does not enter the inside of the sewing machine, and problems such as malfunction of the sewing machine due to cloth waste and seizure of the sewing machine due to cloth waste that has absorbed oil can be solved.

According to the invention described in claim 2, the shape of the upstream side in the cloth feeding direction of the end face of the cloth waste guide portion on the piping side (that is, the curved portion formed on the lower side of the cloth waste guide portion) is substantially arcuate. Alternatively, by adopting an elliptical shape, it is possible to prevent cloth waste that is not directly removed by suction immediately after cutting from scattering or falling to the surroundings, and to prevent cloth waste from entering the sewing machine. It is possible to reliably prevent malfunction of the sewing machine and burning of the apparatus.

According to the invention described in claim 3, the cloth waste guide portion is disposed so as to be movable up and down integrally with the moving knife, so that the moving knife and the cloth waste guide portion are moved by the swinging and rotating operation of the moving knife. There is no gap between them. For this reason, a suction force can be always applied to the cloth waste generated when the cloth is cut by the fixed knife and the moving knife. In addition, cloth waste that has not been immediately sucked by the suction means will not be scattered around or enter the sewing machine, and will be securely removed by suction means after being temporarily stored in the cloth guide section. Can do. Therefore, it is possible to surely solve the conventional problem that the sewing machine malfunctions or seizes.

According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the lower end face of the cloth waste guide portion that is moved up and down integrally with the moving knife and sucked at the lowermost position in the vertical movement of the moving knife is sucked. The cloth waste received by the cloth waste guide part does not leak downward from the lower part of the opening part of the pipe because it moves up and down so as to coincide with the lower end face of the opening part of the pipe provided in the means. The cloth waste can be reliably removed by suction. As a result, it is possible to prevent cloth waste from entering the inside of the sewing machine, and it is possible to reliably solve problems such as malfunction of the sewing machine and baking.

Hereinafter, embodiments of a cloth cutting knife device for a sewing machine (hereinafter referred to as a cloth cutting knife device) according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. In the present embodiment, a right knife device that cuts the cloth on the right side in the cloth feeding direction will be described as an example.

As shown in FIG. 1, the cloth cutting knife device 1 is provided in the vicinity of the needle plate 12 of the sewing machine frame 10 and installed so that the cutting position of the cloth is substantially the same height as the needle plate 12. .
The cloth cutting knife device 1 includes a fixed knife part 2 and a moving knife part 3 for cutting cloth, a cloth suction part 4 for sucking and removing cloth waste generated by cutting the cloth, and suctioning cloth waste. The cloth waste guide part 5 for guiding the part 4 is provided.

As shown in FIG. 2, the fixed knife part 2 is provided with a long plate-like fixed knife 20 having a blade part 20 a at the upper end part, and a fixed knife attached to the sewing machine frame 10 and supporting the fixed knife 20. A base 21 and a fixing member 22 for detachably fixing the fixed knife 20 to the fixed knife mounting base 21 are provided.

As shown in FIG. 3, the moving knife 3 swings in a substantially vertical direction and comes into sliding contact with the fixed knife 20, thereby moving the cloth transferred by a transfer means (not shown) so that the cloth can be sequentially cut. And a moving knife drive mechanism 31 that applies a reciprocating rotation to the moving knife 30 in conjunction with the drive of the sewing machine.
The moving knife 30 has a blade portion 30a having one end formed in a bowl shape, and an insertion hole 30b is formed in the other end. The moving knife drive shaft 31a of the moving knife drive mechanism 31 is inserted through the insertion hole 30b. The moving knife 30 is configured to be able to swing about the insertion hole 30b as the driving force of the swing motion is transmitted by the moving knife driving mechanism 31.
The moving knife driving mechanism 31 is divided by the sewing machine motor and applies a driving force for reciprocating rotation of the shaft 31a at the same frequency as the vertical movement of the sewing needle 11.
The fixed knife 20 and the moving knife 30 are arranged so that the blade part 30a of the moving knife 30 is in sliding contact with the blade part 20a of the fixed knife 20 when the blade part 30a of the moving knife 30 is lowered in the vertical swinging process. The conveyed fabric can be cut sequentially.

The cloth suction part 4 includes a pipe 40 having a circular cross section and deformable pipes, and suction means (not shown) provided on one end of the pipe 40 and on the end surface opposite to the opening 40a opened in a substantially circular shape or ellipse. Have
The pipe 40 is maintained at a negative pressure when a suction means (not shown) is operated, and thereby a suction force for sucking ambient air from the opening 40a side can be applied. In the cloth cutting knife device 1 according to the present embodiment, cloth waste generated at the time of cutting the cloth is efficiently guided to the opening 40a that is the suction port of the suction means in the gap between the opening 40a and the moving knife 30. As a member, a cloth waste guide portion 5 is provided.

As shown in FIG. 4, the cloth waste guide portion 5 has a bottom surface portion 50 that receives cloth waste generated at the time of cutting, and the bottom surface portion 50 is located above the bottom surface portion 50 (downstream in the cloth feed direction). A downstream curved surface portion 51 is formed as a curved portion for restricting movement so that the received cloth waste does not fall from the downstream side in the cloth feeding direction.
An upstream curved surface portion 52 is provided on the upstream side of the cloth waste guide portion 5 as a curved portion for restricting movement so that the cloth waste does not fall from the upstream side in the cloth feed direction.
Moreover, the cloth waste guide part 5 has the piping side end surface part 53 in the piping 40 side, and has the moving knife side end surface part 54 in the moving knife 30 side.
The upper side of the cloth waste guide portion 5 is open.

Here, the end surface on the moving knife 30 side and the end surface on the piping 40 side in the cloth waste guide portion 5 of the present embodiment will be described in detail.

First, an insertion hole 54 a is formed in the moving knife side end surface portion 54 of the upstream curved surface portion 52. The moving knife drive shaft 31a is inserted and fixed in the insertion hole 54a. Thereby, the cloth waste guide part 5 will be connected with the moving knife 30 via the moving knife drive shaft 31a. Then, by transmitting the power of the moving knife drive mechanism 31, the moving knife driving shaft 31 a is used as an axis to reciprocate and rotate integrally with the moving knife 30.
Moreover, the moving knife side end surface part 54 of the cloth waste guide part 5 is arrange | positioned in the state closely_contact | adhered with the moving knife 30 as shown in FIG. For this reason, the cloth waste guide portion 5 is in a state in which it can receive all the cloth waste generated by cutting the cloth without losing it. It should be noted that the boundary between the moving knife 30 and the cloth waste guide portion 5 is preferably as the distance is closer, and may be configured to be bonded or integrated. However, since the suction force by the suction means is always applied to the cutting part, it is applicable even if there is a slight gap between the moving knife 30 and the cloth guide part 5.

Next, the pipe-side end surface portion 53 of the upstream curved surface portion 52 is formed in a substantially arc shape or elliptic arc shape at a position facing the lower side of the opening 40a. The pipe-side end surface portion 53 of the upstream curved surface portion 52 is preferably formed in at least a substantially arc shape or an elliptical arc shape, and desirably has the same curvature as the opening 40a. If it does in this way, the inner side surface of the cloth waste guide part 5 and the piping 40 will be connected without a gap, and a stronger suction force can be applied to the cutting position by reducing the loss of the suction force. .
Further, the pipe-side end surface portion 53 of the bottom surface portion 50 is formed to have the same height as the opening 40a when the moving knife 30 is disposed at the lowermost position in the reciprocating rotation operation. It is desirable that the pipe side end surface portion 53 of the bottom surface portion 50 is also formed with the same curvature as that of the opening 40a. In this way, since cloth waste can be sucked without a gap, loss of suction force can be reduced.
The pipe-side end surface portion 53 of the downstream curved surface portion 51 is also formed in a substantially arc shape or elliptic arc shape. This part is also preferably formed with the same curvature as the opening 40a.

As described above, the cloth waste guide portion 5 in the present embodiment can guide the cloth waste toward the opening 40a according to the suction force of the suction means after receiving the cloth waste generated at the time of cutting the cloth so as not to fall around. It is like that.
As shown in FIG. 5, the cloth waste guide portion 5 according to the present embodiment has a bottom dead center that is swung up and down by the moving knife drive mechanism 31. The lowermost end height of the end surface on the 40 side and the lowermost end height of the opening 40a coincide with each other.

The cloth waste guide portion 5 is preferably moved up and down integrally with the moving knife 30 in order to maintain suction efficiency. In the present embodiment, the cloth waste guide portion 5 is fixed to the moving knife 30 and can move up and down integrally. Is provided.
Moreover, although the end surface part 53 by the side of the piping 40 is formed in the substantially circular arc shape or the elliptical arc shape, the cloth waste guide part 5 in this embodiment is not necessarily limited to this, The lower end of the opening part 40a The inner surface of the pipe 40 and the inner surface of the cloth waste guide portion 5 only have to be formed in a continuous shape.

Next, the operation of the sewing machine cloth cutting knife device according to this embodiment will be described in detail.
The cloth cutting knife device 1 according to the present embodiment sequentially cuts the cloth conveyed by a cloth feeding mechanism (not shown) provided in the sewing machine 9 in the vicinity of the sewing position.

First, before cutting the cloth, the blade part 30a of the moving knife 30 is provided in a state protruding from the upper side of the sewing machine frame 10, and is arranged so as to be slidable with the blade part 20a of the fixed knife 20. This position becomes the top dead center in the reciprocating rotation operation of the moving knife 30 by the moving knife driving mechanism 31.
On the other hand, when cutting the cloth, the blade portion 30 a of the moving knife 30 moves to the lower side of the sewing machine frame 10 while being in sliding contact with the blade portion 20 a of the stationary knife 20. Thereby, it becomes a bottom dead center in the reciprocating rotation operation of the moving knife 30. At this time, the cloth waste guide portion 5 that is connected to the moving knife 30 and moved up and down integrally with the moving knife 30 is also at the lowermost position, that is, the bottom dead center.

When the moving knife 30 is positioned at the top dead center, the cloth sandwiched between the blade part 30a of the moving knife 30 and the blade part 20a of the fixed knife 20 is cut when the moving knife 30 is lowered.
That is, each time the moving knife drive shaft 31a is swung and rotated so that the moving knife 30 is swung and rotated within the range from the top dead center to the bottom dead center, the moving knife 30 is sandwiched between the fixed knife 20 and the moving knife 30 at the top dead center. The cloth is cut sequentially.

Here, near the position where the fixed knife 20 and the moving knife 30 overlap (that is, the cloth cutting position), cloth waste is generated along with the cloth cutting. In addition, a suction force is applied to the cutting position by a suction means (not shown) so that the cloth waste generated with the cutting is immediately sucked and removed. And most of the cloth waste generated by cutting is sucked and removed from the opening 40a simultaneously with the cutting.

Moreover, as shown in FIG.4, FIG.5 and FIG.6, in the cloth cutting knife apparatus 1 in this embodiment, out of the cloth waste produced in connection with cutting | disconnection, it was not immediately attracted | sucked by the suction means but was scattered to the circumference | surroundings. The cloth waste is received by the cloth guide part 5 provided between the moving knife 30 and the cloth suction part 4.

Specifically, the cloth waste guide portion 5 includes a downstream curved surface portion 51 and an upstream portion on the upper side (that is, the downstream side in the cloth conveyance direction) and the lower side (that is, the upstream side in the cloth conveyance direction), respectively. Since the side curved surface portion 52 is formed, the cloth scrap collection efficiency is improved. Therefore, the cloth waste received by the bottom surface portion 50 does not scatter in a range where the suction force by a suction means (not shown) does not reach.
The cloth waste temporarily stored in the upstream curved surface portion 52 is reliably removed by suction by the suction means. That is, the cloth waste is reliably removed by suction without spilling down on the upstream side and the downstream side in the cloth conveyance direction.

Further, the cloth waste guide portion 5 is connected to a moving knife 30 which is a cutting position via a moving knife driving shaft, and is provided so as to be movable up and down integrally with the moving knife 30. For this reason, the cloth waste that is scattered or dropped without being sucked by the suction means is always reliably received by the cloth waste guide portion 5.

Moreover, since the cloth scrap guide part 5 is formed so that the end face shape on the pipe 40 side is substantially the same shape as the opening 40a of the pipe 40, the end face on the pipe 40 side and the opening in the cloth guide part 5 are formed. A gap is less likely to occur between the portion 40a and the loss of suction force acting on the cutting position is reduced. That is, a stronger suction force is efficiently applied to a position (cutting position) where cloth waste is generated.

Moreover, the cloth waste guide part 5 comes to be arrange | positioned in the lowest end position of the up-and-down movement accompanying the up-and-down movement of the moving knife 30, and the end surface by the side of the piping 40 is arrange | positioned in the same height position as the opening part 40a. Therefore, the cloth waste received by the cloth waste guide part 5 is reliably guided to the pipe 40 without falling below the opening 40a.

As described above, according to the cloth cutting knife device 1 of the sewing machine according to the present embodiment, the cloth waste guide portion 5 is provided in the gap between the moving knife 30 and the opening 40a, so that the cloth generated by cutting the cloth is provided. The falling of the waste can be prevented, and the cloth waste can be efficiently sucked and removed.

Further, by providing the downstream curved surface portion 51 and the upstream curved surface portion 52 on the upper side and the lower side (downstream side and upstream side in the cloth conveyance direction) of the cloth waste guide portion 5, the cloth waste is conveyed by the cloth. It is possible to improve the accumulation efficiency of cloth waste without being scattered or dropped on the downstream side and the upstream side in the direction.

In addition, the end face shape of the cloth waste guide portion 5 on the side facing the opening portion 40a of the pipe 40 is substantially arc-shaped or elliptical arc shape so as to coincide with the end face shape of the opening portion 40a. And the opening 40a are less likely to generate a gap, and the loss of suction force can be reduced. Therefore, a stronger suction force can be applied to the cut portion.

In addition, since the cloth waste guide portion 5 is arranged so as to move up and down integrally with the moving knife 30, the moving knife 30 swings and rotates between the moving knife 30 and the cloth guide portion 5. There is no gap. For this reason, cloth waste is generated by cutting, and at the same time, the cloth waste can be reliably removed by suction.

Moreover, since the height of the lowest end position in the movable range of the cloth waste guide part 5 is set to the same height as the opening 40a of the pipe 40, the cloth waste guide part 5 is lowered below the opening 40a. It is possible to reliably prevent the cloth waste from being scattered or dropped.
Therefore, the fallen cloth waste does not enter the inside of the sewing machine 9, and the problem that the sewing machine 9 malfunctions due to the cloth waste or the sewing machine 9 is baked by the cloth absorbing oil can be solved. .
