Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener capable of preventing refuse and moisture from entering, raising an extraction force for a pin, and reducing insertion resistance in inserting the pin.
SOLUTION: Since a base 26 of a grommet 16 is formed in a bag shape, refuse and moisture do not enter into the base 26. Accordingly, a water content does not ooze from the base 26 to a floor carpet 14 through an insertion hole 22 of the grommet 16. Also, a through hole 24 is formed in a flange 20 along a direction crossingly perpendicular to the axial direction of the grommet 16, and the flange 20 is divided into an upper part 20A and a lower part 20B. Accordingly, a locking claw 38 or a locking claw 40 can be locked to the upper part 20A. Since the upper part 20A of the flange 20 is recessed along a direction perpendicularly crossing the axial direction of the grommet 16, an extraction force can be increased more than in the case that the upper part 20A is formed in a tilted state relative to the axial direction of the grommet 16 despite the fact that the insertion resistance for the pin 18 is approximately the same.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI

Description

The present invention relates to a fastener for fastening a floor carpet laid on a floor panel of a vehicle body to the floor panel.

Conventionally, a floor surface in an automobile interior is decorated by laying a floor carpet on the floor panel of the automobile. The floor carpet protects the floor panel for the automobile and also functions as a soundproofing material.

In order to lay the floor carpet on the floor panel in this way, a grommet that is locked to the peripheral portion of the mounting hole formed in the floor panel, a pin that holds the floor carpet together with the grommet, and is locked to the grommet, The fastener comprised is used.

For example, as shown in FIG. 6, in the fastener of Patent Document 1, the grommet 100 is attached to the panel 102, the pin 104 is attached to the cowl top 106, and then the pin 104 is locked to the grommet 100. It is fixed to the panel 102.

Here, when the pin 104 is locked to the grommet 100, the leg portion 108, which is provided on the peripheral wall of the grommet 100 and can be elastically deformed, is expanded by the tip end portion of the pin 104, and the pin 104 is inserted into the grommet 100. An annular protrusion 110 protrudes from the inner surface of the leg 108. When the annular step 112 provided at the tip of the pin 104 gets over the annular protrusion 110, the leg 108 expands in diameter and the annular step 112 is The ring-shaped protrusion 110 prevents it from coming off. In this state, the pin 104 is locked to the grommet 100.

By the way, when the grommet 100 is molded, the annular protrusion 110 becomes a so-called undercut portion (a protruding portion formed in a direction orthogonal to the mold releasing direction) due to the mold configuration. In order to form, the lower part of the annular protrusion 110 is inclined with respect to the direction orthogonal to the mold release direction so that the mold can be released from the mold.

For this reason, the locking force between the annular step 112 of the pin 104 and the annular protrusion 110 of the grommet 100 is weakened, and the removal force for removing the pin 104 from the grommet 100 is weakened. That is, the pin 104 is easily detached from the grommet 100.

For this reason, in order to increase the removal force, it is conceivable to reduce the inner diameter of the annular protrusion 110. However, in this case, the insertion resistance of the pin 104 increases, and the workability deteriorates.

On the other hand, since the protrusion is formed in a direction orthogonal to the mold release direction, for example, although not shown, a through hole is provided in the bottom of the grommet as in Patent Document 2, and the mold is formed during molding. The projecting portion can be formed by penetrating the through-hole with the pin for use, and the tip portion is arranged on the lower surface of the projecting portion. End up.
JP 2000-249128 A Japanese Patent No. 3325121

In consideration of the above-mentioned facts, the present invention provides a fastener that can prevent entry of dust, moisture, and the like, increase pin removal force, and reduce insertion resistance when the pin is inserted. And

According to the first aspect of the present invention, in the fastener, the first flange portion that can contact the peripheral edge portion of the first mounting hole formed in the plate member, and the first mounting portion project from the first flange portion. A base portion through which a hole can be inserted, and a plurality of portions that are provided on the outer surface of the base portion and are inserted into the mounting hole in a reduced diameter state so as to expand the diameter and sandwich the peripheral edge portion of the mounting hole with the first flange portion. A leg portion, an insertion hole formed in a bag shape from the first flange portion to the base portion, and a latch recessed in the hole wall of the insertion hole perpendicular to the insertion direction of the shaft portion , A second flange portion that comes into contact with a peripheral edge portion of a second mounting hole formed in the laying member laid on the plate member, and a shaft portion that protrudes from the second flange portion and is inserted into the insertion hole And a plurality of locking claws protruding from the outer surface of the shaft portion and locked to the locking portion. It is set to.

In the first aspect of the present invention, the base protrudes from the first flange portion that can come into contact with the peripheral edge portion of the first mounting hole formed in the plate member, and a plurality of leg portions are provided on the outer surface of the base portion. Is provided. When the leg portion is inserted into the attachment hole in a reduced diameter state and passes through the first attachment portion, the diameter is increased and the peripheral portion of the attachment hole is sandwiched between the leg portion and the first flange portion.

Further, the first flange portion and the base portion are provided with an insertion hole in a bag shape from the first flange portion to the base portion, and the hole wall of the insertion hole is engaged so as to be orthogonal to the axial direction of the base portion. The stop is recessed.

On the other hand, the shaft portion protrudes from the second flange portion that can contact the peripheral edge portion of the second mounting hole of the laying member laid on the plate material, and a plurality of locking claws are formed from the outer surface of the shaft portion. It protrudes and can be locked to the locking portion.

And in the state which the latching claw was latched by the latching | locking part, the peripheral part of the 2nd attachment hole of a laying member is clamped between the 1st flange and the 2nd flange, and a laying member is on a board | plate material. Will be laid.

As described above, since the insertion hole formed from the first flange portion to the base portion has a bag shape, dust, moisture, and the like do not enter the base portion. In addition, in a state in which the locking portion to which the locking claw is locked is recessed with respect to the axial direction of the base portion, that is, orthogonal to the insertion direction of the shaft body, in a state inclined with respect to the insertion direction of the shaft body Compared to the case where the locking portion is provided, the removal force can be increased although the insertion resistance of the shaft body is substantially the same.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the fastener according to the first aspect, the locking portion is formed by recessing the entire circumference of the hole wall.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the entire periphery of the hole wall is recessed to form the locking portion, the directionality of the shaft body with respect to the base portion is irrelevant, and therefore workability is good.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the fastener according to the first or second aspect, the locking portion is provided in a direction perpendicular to the insertion direction of the shaft portion, and the center of the first flange portion is provided. It is a through hole that bisects up and down, and is a ridge formed on the top of the first flange portion.

In the third aspect of the present invention, the center of the first flange portion is vertically divided into two by a through hole provided in a direction orthogonal to the insertion direction of the shaft portion. A hook that the claw locks is provided, and because of the mold structure, the hook does not become an undercut portion, so that no dripping or the like due to unreasonable punching occurs.

Moreover, in the case of an undercut part, since the mold is released, the protruding amount of the undercut part is limited, but since the ridge does not become an undercut part, the protruding amount of the ridge is limited. However, it is possible to make the protrusion amount sufficient to lock the locking claw. Furthermore, the cost of the mold is reduced compared to the case where a groove is formed in the hole wall of the insertion hole when the mold is opened by a so-called motor drive.

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the fastener according to the third aspect, the width dimension of the through hole is larger than the inner diameter dimension of the insertion hole.

In the invention described in claim 4, by making the width dimension of the through hole larger than the inner diameter dimension of the insertion hole, the flange can be formed over the entire circumference of the upper portion of the first flange portion.

Since the present invention is configured as described above, in the first aspect of the present invention, since the insertion hole formed from the first flange portion to the base portion has a bag shape, dust, moisture, etc. enter the base portion. There is nothing. In addition, when the locking part for locking the locking claw is recessed perpendicularly to the insertion direction of the shaft body, the locking part is provided in an inclined state with respect to the insertion direction of the shaft body. As compared with, the removal force can be increased although the insertion resistance of the shaft body is substantially the same.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the entire periphery of the hole wall is recessed to form the locking portion, the directionality of the shaft body with respect to the base portion is irrelevant, and therefore workability is good.

In the third aspect of the present invention, the center of the first flange portion is vertically divided into two by a through-hole so that a hook that the locking claw locks is provided on the upper portion of the first flange portion. Since the hook does not become an undercut portion, the protruding amount of the hook is not limited, and the protruding amount can be sufficient to lock the locking claw. Furthermore, the mold cost is lower than when a groove is formed in the hole wall of the insertion hole when the mold is opened by the motor drive.

In the invention described in claim 4, by making the width dimension of the through hole larger than the inner diameter dimension of the insertion hole, the flange can be formed over the entire circumference of the upper portion of the first flange portion.

Hereinafter, a fastener according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 3A, a floor carpet 14 is laid on the upper surface of the floor panel 10 via a fastener 12.

The fastener 12 includes a cylindrical grommet 16 that can be inserted into the mounting hole 10 </ b> A formed in the floor panel 10, and a pin 18 that is inserted into the mounting hole 14 </ b> A formed in the floor carpet 14 and locked to the grommet 16. , Is composed of.

The grommet 16 is provided with a thick flange portion 20, and the flange portion 20 has a width dimension D larger than the inner diameter dimension D 1 of the insertion hole 22 along a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the grommet 16. A substantially rectangular through hole 24 having a large 2 is formed (see FIG. 5). By this through hole 24, the flange portion 20 is divided into two parts, that is, an upper part (庇) 20 </ b> A and a lower part 20 </ b> B.

Further, a base portion 26 projects from the lower surface of the flange portion 20, and an insertion hole 22 is formed along the axial direction of the grommet 16 from the central portion of the flange portion 20 to the base portion 26 of the grommet 16. Yes. Further, a leg portion 28 extending obliquely upward is provided from the outer peripheral surface of the base portion 26, and a contact piece 30 extends from the inner surface of the distal end portion of the leg portion 28.

The leg portion 28 is elastically deformable and is reduced in diameter when passing through the mounting hole 10 </ b> A of the floor panel 10. Then, after passing through the mounting hole 10A, the diameter is increased, the contact piece 30 contacts the inner peripheral surface of the mounting hole 10A, and the step portion 28A formed by the contact piece 30 contacts the inner edge of the mounting hole 10A. It comes in contact and is prevented from coming off. In this state, the peripheral edge portion of the mounting hole 10 </ b> A of the floor panel 10 is sandwiched between the flange portion 20 and the leg portion 28.

Here, a substantially rectangular seal member 32 (see FIG. 3A) can be attached to the lower portion of the flange portion 20. The seal member 32 is inserted into the base portion 26, and the lower surface of the flange portion 20. When the grommet 16 is locked to the floor panel 10 in surface contact with the floor panel 10, the seal member 32 is disposed between the floor panel 10 and the flange portion 20. Intrusion of dust, moisture, etc. can be prevented.

On the other hand, the pin 18 is provided with a flange portion 34, and a flat shaft portion 36 projects from the back surface of the flange portion 34. On both surfaces of the shaft portion 36, a pair of locking claws 38 and 40 extending obliquely upward are provided by changing the position of the shaft portion 36 in the axial direction.

Further, from both surfaces of the shaft portion 36, ribs 42 protrude along the axial direction of the shaft portion 36 at the center on the tip end side, and the separation distance between the tip surfaces of the ribs 42 is substantially equal to the width of the shaft portion 36. It is formed to be the same.

The distance between the front end surfaces of the ribs 42 is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the insertion hole 22 formed in the grommet 16, and as the rib 42 moves from a predetermined position to the front end of the shaft portion 36. It is getting smaller gradually. Further, the width dimension of the shaft portion 36 is also slightly smaller than the inner diameter size of the insertion hole 22, as in the case of the rib 42, and becomes narrower from the predetermined position toward the tip end portion of the shaft portion 36. .

As a result, the tip portion of the shaft portion 36 is sharp, making it easy to insert the shaft portion 36 into the insertion hole 22 formed in the flange portion 20 of the grommet 16, and from the predetermined position, the tip surface of the rib 42 and the shaft. The end surface of the portion 36 prevents the shaft portion 36 from being inclined in the insertion hole 22.

When the shaft portion 36 is inserted into the insertion hole 22, the locking claw 38 comes into contact with the inner edge portion of the insertion hole 22 of the flange portion 20. When the pin 18 is pushed into the grommet 16 in this state, the diameter of the locking claw 38 is reduced. When the pin 18 passes through the upper portion 20A of the flange portion 20 formed by the through hole 24, the diameter of the locking claw 38 is increased. As shown to (A), it contacts the lower surface of 20 A of upper parts of the flange part 20. As shown in FIG.

As a result, the pin 18 is prevented from coming off, and the outer surface of the locking claw 38 abuts against the inner edge of the base portion 26, so that the pin 18 is restricted from moving in the axial direction and locked to the grommet 16. In this state, the floor carpet 14 is sandwiched between the flange portion 20 and the flange portion 34, and the floor carpet 14 is laid on the floor panel 10.

By the way, the floor carpet 14 may be thin. In this case, the pin 18 is further pushed into the grommet 16 from this state. As a result, the locking claw 38 passes through the lower portion 20B of the flange portion 20 and is reduced in diameter in the base portion 26, and the locking claw 40 comes into contact with the inner edge portion of the insertion hole 22 of the flange portion 20.

When the pin 18 is further pushed into the grommet 16 from this state, the diameter of the locking claw 40 is reduced and the diameter is increased when passing through the upper portion 20A of the flange portion 20, and as shown in FIG. It contacts the lower surface of the upper part 20A of the part 20.

Here, the contact piece 44 extends from the inner surface of the distal end portion of the locking claw 40, and the contact piece 44 is in a state where the locking claw 40 is in contact with the lower surface of the upper portion 20 </ b> A of the flange portion 20. The step 40A formed by the contact piece 44 contacts the inner edge of the insertion hole 22 of the upper portion 20A of the flange portion 20 and is prevented from coming off. At the same time, the claw 40 is prevented from being widened by the standing wall of the stepped portion 40A.

That is, as a result, the pin 18 is restricted from moving in the axial direction. In this state, the thin floor carpet 14 is sandwiched between the flange portion 20 and the flange portion 34.

With the configuration as described above, as shown in FIGS. 3A and 3B, even when the wall thickness of the floor carpet 14 is thin, the same fastener 12 can be used.

Next, the operation of the fastener according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, since the base portion 26 of the grommet 16 has a bag shape, dust, moisture and the like do not enter the base portion 26. For this reason, moisture does not ooze out from the base 26 to the floor carpet 14 through the insertion hole 22 of the grommet 16.

3A and 3B, the flange portion 20 is provided with a through hole 24 along a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the grommet 16, and the through hole 24 allows the flange portion 20 to be formed. The upper claw 38 or the claw 40 can be locked to the upper portion 20A by dividing the upper portion 20A into the lower portion 20B.

Here, since the upper portion 20A of the flange portion 20 is recessed along the direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the grommet 16, the upper portion 20A of the flange portion 20 is inclined with respect to the axial direction of the grommet 16. Compared with the case where the pin 18 is formed, although the insertion resistance of the pin 18 is substantially the same, the extraction force can be increased.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, by making the width dimension D 2 of the through hole 24 larger than the inner diameter dimension D 1 of the insertion hole 22, it is locked over the entire circumference of the upper portion 20 </ b > A of the flange portion 20. Since the claw 38 or the locking claw 40 can be locked, the directionality of the pin 18 with respect to the grommet 16 is irrelevant and the workability is good.

Further, by forming the upper portion 20A of the flange portion 20 through which the flange portion 20 is penetrated from the direction substantially orthogonal to the pin 18 to lock the locking claw 38 or the locking claw 40, the flange portion 20 is formed on the mold structure. Since the upper portion 20A of the upper portion does not become an undercut portion, the lower surface of the upper portion 20A will not be drooped due to excessive removal.

Further, in the undercut portion on the mold structure, the amount of protrusion is limited because the mold is released from the mold, but the upper portion 20A of the flange portion 20 does not become an undercut portion. There is no limitation on the amount of engagement of 40 with the upper portion 20 </ b> A of the flange portion 20, and the amount of protrusion can be sufficient to lock the engagement claws 38, 40.

Here, although the width dimension D 2 of the through hole 24 is larger than the inner diameter dimension D 1 of the insertion hole 22, it is not necessarily required to be larger, and the width dimension D 2 of the through hole 24 is the inner diameter dimension of the insertion hole 22. D may be smaller than 1. In this case, the locking portion protrudes from the hole wall of the insertion hole 22.

Further, the flange portion 20 is penetrated from a direction substantially orthogonal to the pin 18, and the flange portion 20 is divided into two in the vertical direction, and the upper portion 20 </ b> A (庇) of the flange portion 20 that locks the locking claw 38 or the locking claw 40. Although formed, a groove may be formed in the hole wall of the insertion hole 22 when the mold is opened by a so-called motor drive, but in this case, the mold cost is higher than that in the present embodiment.
