Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a driving support system that supports driving of a vehicle by receiving current position information and the like from a radio tag attached to a road surface or a road accessory.
The thing of the following
Further, the one described in
However, since the technology described in
On the other hand, the technique described in the above-mentioned
On the other hand, there is a car navigation system that calculates position coordinates including current latitude and longitude of a vehicle based on position coordinate information received from a plurality of GPS satellites, and displays the current position of the vehicle on a map based on the calculated position coordinates. Are known.
However, in this car navigation system, radio waves from GPS satellites may not be received in bad weather, in a tunnel, or under an elevated route, so that there is a problem that the current position of the vehicle cannot be presented to the driver.
In addition, various signs indicating traffic regulation information and construction information are attached to the roads on dedicated road signs or incidental structures, but these road signs are invisible or overlooked due to snow, heavy fog, etc. If this happens, safe driving cannot be ensured. A conventional car navigation system does not have a function for supporting safe driving in a state where a road sign is not visible due to snow or heavy fog.
The object of the present invention is to present the current position of the vehicle correctly even in environments where the radio waves from GPS satellites such as in tunnels cannot be received normally, or in environments where road signs are not visible due to weather such as snow or heavy fog, It is an object to provide a driving support system for a vehicle that can support simple driving.
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a wireless tag information receiving means for receiving information recorded on a wireless tag attached to a road surface or an accessory work adjacent to the road, and the wireless tag information receiving means comprises: It is determined whether or not the received information includes position coordinate information composed of latitude and longitude. If included, the current position of the vehicle based on the position coordinate information received from a plurality of GPS satellites. Is provided with information determination means for inputting as substitute information of position coordinate information from a GPS satellite to a navigation system for displaying a map on a map.
In addition, the information determination means includes traffic regulation information from a radio tag attached to an auxiliary work such as a road sign permanently or temporarily installed on the road in the information received by the radio tag information receiving means. It is determined whether or not notification information such as construction information is included, and if notification information is included, the notification information is input to the in-vehicle device and notified to the driver by voice or text. .
Further, the information determining means determines whether or not warning information from a radio tag attached to a guardrail or a building adjacent to a road is included in the information received by the RFID tag information receiving means, If the warning information is included, the warning information is input to the in-vehicle device, and the driver is notified by voice or warning sound or text.
In addition, the information determination means includes travel position information from a wireless tag installed along the travel direction in the vicinity of the position on both sides of the travel lane on the road in the information received by the RFID tag information reception means. It is characterized in that if the vehicle position information is included, the vehicle position information is input to the in-vehicle device and notified to the driver by voice or warning sound or text.
Also, the received electric field intensity from the wireless tag installed along the vicinity of the center of the road surface of the road is judged, and a signal indicating that the vehicle deviates from the center of the road surface to the right side or the left side according to the value of the received electric field intensity. It is further characterized by further comprising a received electric field strength detecting means for inputting to the device and notifying the driver by voice, warning sound or text.
According to the present invention, even in a situation where position coordinate information such as latitude and longitude from a GPS satellite such as in a tunnel or under an overpass cannot be acquired, a wireless tag that records position coordinate information consisting of latitude and longitude is tunneled. The position coordinate data is acquired from the wireless tag by the wireless tag information receiving means mounted on the vehicle, and the position coordinate information is transmitted to the in-vehicle car navigation system. By inputting it as alternative information, it is possible to accurately present the current position of the vehicle to the driver even in an environment such as in a tunnel or under an elevated road, thereby supporting safe driving.
It also receives notification information such as traffic regulation information and construction information from radio tags attached to incidental structures such as road signs that are permanently or temporarily installed on the road. Road information that is difficult to see due to bad weather such as fog or snow, or that has been written on an overlooked sign, etc. by outputting from the output means (or by inputting into the car navigation system and displaying it by sound or text) Can be surely provided to the driver or passengers to support safe driving.
In addition, when warning information indicating the presence of a building or the like is received from a guardrail adjacent to the road or a wireless tag attached to the building, the warning information is issued from a speaker or the like that is one of the in-vehicle devices. Even when guardrails or buildings are buried under snow, etc., they can prevent accidents such as contact with or colliding with these buildings, and snowplows are operated. It will be extremely effective.
In addition, when travel position information is received from a wireless tag installed along the travel direction on both sides of the road lane on the road, the travel position deviates from the center of the travel road surface to the right or left. By issuing a warning to be shown from a speaker or the like which is one of the in-vehicle devices, it is possible to prevent a contact or collision accident with another vehicle traveling in the oncoming lane or the adjacent lane.
Also, the received electric field strength from the wireless tag installed along the driving direction near the center of the road surface of the road is judged, and if the received electric field strength is below the threshold, the driving position deviates from the center of the driving road surface to the right or left. In the same way as described above, it is possible to prevent a contact or collision accident with another vehicle traveling in an oncoming lane or an adjacent lane. can do.
Hereinafter, an embodiment for carrying out the present invention will be specifically described with reference to the drawings.
Here, it is desirable to select a product satisfying the following requirements as the wireless tag used when implementing the present invention. A storage capacity of about 128 bytes is appropriate, but a larger-capacity wireless tag is selected. Since the road manager needs to rewrite the recorded information in response to changes in road conditions, it can be read and written, and is basically a passive type without battery and without worrying about power.
In addition, as to which frequency radio tag is used, a radio tag in consideration of the data communication distance with the radio tag antenna is appropriately used. Among the wireless tags that are currently commercialized, there are UHF band and 2.45 GHz band wireless tags that have a long data communication distance and can be miniaturized. Since it often falls, it is desirable to use a wireless IC tag of 135 kHz or less having a data communication distance of about 2 m, which cannot be reduced in size.
However, when wireless tags that can compensate for these drawbacks appear, it goes without saying that a longer data communication distance and a smaller one are selected. Needless to say, the RFID tag antenna that performs data communication with the above-described wireless tag selects a product having a size and performance in consideration of the data communication distance with the wireless tag.

9 (a) and 9 (b) show that a vehicle such as a snowplow has a structure such as a guardrail or a fence / wall while communicating with a plurality of wireless tags embedded in the structure such as a guardrail or a fence / wall.
