Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a coated absorbent cotton in which absorbent cotton is packaged with a covering material and applied to a wound at the time of surgery to absorb blood and body fluid and a method for producing the same.
Conventionally, absorbent cotton has been widely used for medical purposes, but absorbent cotton itself has properties such as fluffing, fraying, and elongation, and when absorbent cotton is directly applied to the affected area, the absorbed blood or body fluid is solidified. Absorbent cotton also solidifies together. For this reason, absorbent cotton is wrapped with gauze and the overlapped part is crimped and joined.
However, the absorbent cotton coated with gauze described in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1 is sprayed with a suspension of bonding fibers that are mechanically entangled with the fibers constituting the gauze and the absorbent cotton, dried, and the bonded fibers are gauze and absorbent cotton. The two sides covered with gauze do not expose the absorbent cotton, but the other two sides expose the absorbent cotton, and the gauze is also cut as it is. Since the thread that makes up the gauze frays easily during the handling process, and when the adsorbed blood and body fluid solidify, the loosened cotton and gauze loose thread that has come out solidifies and solidifies. There is a problem that it causes pain to the patient when they are peeled off from the human body.
The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a coated absorbent cotton in which absorbent cotton or gauze loose threads are solidified and do not adhere to a wound and a method for producing the same. According to a third invention, in the first invention, the synthetic resin net-like film is composed of a two-layer polyethylene film having an inner surface having a low melting point and an outer surface having a high melting point. Absorbent cotton coated with net-like film.
4th invention is a manufacturing method which manufactures from the absorbent cotton roll which wound the strip-shaped absorbent cotton, and the synthetic resin net-like film roll to the absorbent cotton product covered with the synthetic resin-made net-like film, A step of cutting the absorbent cotton into a rectangular shape, a step of separating the cut absorbent cotton at a predetermined interval, and an absorbent cotton separated at the predetermined interval by using a synthetic resin net-like film, the two opposite sides of the absorbent cotton A step of covering the upper and lower layers so as to be wrapped from the outside, a step of thermally welding the end portions of the upper and lower layers, and a synthetic resin net-like film adjacent to two opposite sides of the absorbent cotton A step of heat-welding each other, and a step of separating the heat-welded portions of the synthetic resin-made net-like films at substantially the middle portion thereof, the four sides of the cut absorbent cotton Was Lumpur, a method of manufacturing a cotton wool that covers the entire surface of a synthetic resin net-like film.
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, a rectangular sheet-like absorbent cotton is wrapped with a synthetic resin net-like film so that two opposite sides of the absorbent cotton are wrapped from the outside, and the end of the film is placed on one side of the absorbent cotton. Synthetic resin net-like films adjacent to two sides perpendicular to the two opposite sides of the absorbent cotton, with the upper and lower layers overlapped and covered on the surface, and the end portions of the upper and lower layers are thermally welded together. Since the absorbent cotton is heat-sealed, the four sides of the absorbent cotton are sealed, and the entire surface is coated with a synthetic resin net-like film, the entire surface of the absorbent cotton is covered with the synthetic resin net-like film without exposing the absorbent cotton. In addition, like the gauze that has been cut, the thread that makes up the loosenage in the process of handling frays and falls off, or solidifies together with the adsorbed blood and body fluid to adhere to the wound , Is not that bring pain to the patient when peeled off from the human body a record. In addition, the level difference due to the overlapping of the synthetic resin net-like film formed on the surface of the absorbent cotton is reduced, and the usability is improved.
The second invention is absorbent cotton coated with a synthetic resin net-like film characterized in that the synthetic resin net-like film in the first invention is a polyethylene or polypropylene film, which is harmful to the human body. According to a third invention, in the first invention, the synthetic resin net-like film is composed of a two-layer polyethylene film having an inner surface having a low melting point and an outer surface having a high melting point. Since the absorbent cotton is coated with a net-like film, the welding operation is easy and a stable coated absorbent cotton with high productivity can be obtained.
4th invention is a manufacturing method which manufactures from the absorbent cotton roll which wound the strip-shaped absorbent cotton, and the synthetic resin net-like film roll to the absorbent cotton product covered with the synthetic resin-made net-like film, A step of cutting the absorbent cotton into a rectangular shape, a step of separating the cut absorbent cotton at a predetermined interval, and an absorbent cotton separated at the predetermined interval by using a synthetic resin net-like film, the two opposite sides of the absorbent cotton A step of covering the outer side of the absorbent cotton so as to be wrapped from above and below, a step of thermally welding the end portions of the upper and lower layers, and a composition adjacent to two opposite sides of the absorbent cotton.
The
As described above, the absorbent cotton covered with the polyethylene film according to the present embodiment is sealed with the four sides of the absorbent cotton, and the entire surface of the absorbent cotton is covered with the polyethylene film, so that the absorbent cotton is not exposed and is cut. Like the gauze as it is, the gauze-forming thread frays and falls off in the process of handling, or solidifies together with the adsorbed blood and body fluid and adheres to the wound so that it can be removed from the human body. There is no pain to the patient when peeling. Further, the polyethylene film is not harmful to the human body and can provide a sanitary absorbent cotton.
The covering material of absorbent cotton in the present embodiment is not limited to a two-layer polyethylene film, but a one-layer polyethylene film or polypropylene film, a nonwoven fabric made of polyethylene or polypropylene, and a nonwoven fabric in which polyester is added thereto Any other materials that are approved for medical use and have heat-welding properties may be used. The net shape means innumerable minute holes provided and has ventilation and water permeability, and the size and shape of the ventilation and water passage holes are not limited, and the periphery of the holes is raised like a bank. However, irregularities may be provided in other portions.
FIG. 2 is an explanatory view of a manufacturing apparatus and a manufacturing method for absorbent cotton coated with a polyethylene film according to an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 2, 21 is an absorbent cotton roll in which absorbent cotton is wound around a roller arranged in the first step of the production line, and 31 is a polyethylene film roll in which a polyethylene film is wound around the roller. 110 is a first conveyor composed of
A
The
For this reason, the
In addition, when the
The configuration of the manufacturing apparatus is as described above, and the flow of manufacturing the coated absorbent cotton will be described below.
First, the strip-shaped
The cut absorbent cotton moves on the
Therefore, a predetermined interval (gap) is ensured between the front and rear absorbent cotton until the end of the absorbent cotton next to the cut absorbent cotton is cut by the rotary cutter, that is, while the absorbent cotton moves one pitch. .
Since the absorbent cotton is pressed by the
Next, the
Thereafter, the transmission type
Since the transmission type
Finally, the
Cutting and separating the polyethylene film is not limited to a high-frequency sealer with a cutting function, and a heat wire cutter, a shear press, a rotary cutter, or the like can be used.
As described above, the absorbent cotton covered with the polyethylene film according to the present embodiment has four sides of the absorbent cotton sealed, the entire surface is covered with the polyethylene film, and the absorbent cotton is not exposed and is like a gauze that has been cut. In addition, the thread that makes up the gauze frays and falls off during handling, solidifies together with the adsorbed blood and body fluid, and causes pain to the patient when it is peeled off from the human body to adhere to the wound There is nothing. Further, the polyethylene film is not harmful to the human body and can provide a sanitary absorbent cotton.
In addition, since the welding is performed by utilizing the difference in melting points of the polyethylene films on the inner and outer surfaces, the production can be automated, and a high-quality coated absorbent cotton can be obtained at a low cost.
Using the absorbent cotton and polyethylene film of the following specifications, the entire process from the absorbent cotton roll and the polyethylene roll as materials to the covering of the absorbent cotton with the polyethylene film was automated. As a result, labor saving can be achieved and a coated absorbent cotton with stable quality can be obtained.
On the other hand, the conventional coating method in which two sides of absorbent cotton were sealed with gauze was changed, and a method of sealing four sides was tried. However, a stable quality product could not be obtained except by sewing with a sewing machine. The method of sewing with a sewing machine is difficult to automate, and requires a lot of time and money for sewing.
