Description

The present invention relates to an ear pad of a headphone, and more particularly to an ear pad of a headphone that is attached to a flange extending on an outer periphery of an auricle contact side of a headphone housing that houses an electroacoustic transducer.

FIG. 1 shows a conventional example of headphones.
In the headphone 1, each of a pair of left and right housings 3 and 4 that house an electroacoustic conversion unit (speaker unit) is swingable via a universal joint portion 7 at the end of a headband 6 that straddles the head. The ear pads 9 having cushioning properties are provided on the outer peripheral portions of the housings 3 and 4 on the auricle contact side (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

The ear pad 9 uses a material having high airtightness in the sealed headphone, and when the headphone 1 is mounted on the head, the gap between the housings 3 and 4 and the external auricle is blocked to block external sound. Thus, the sound emitted from the electroacoustic transducers in the housings 3 and 4 can be easily heard.
On the other hand, the open-air type uses a highly breathable material and actively connects to external sound to achieve a natural audibility.

As shown in FIG. 2, this ear pad 9 is usually fitted with a flange between the pad main body 15 and a substantially ring-shaped pad main body 15 in which a cushion material 11 such as a sponge is wrapped with an exterior cloth 13 such as synthetic leather. The flange pressing cloth 19 that forms the gap 17 is provided.

Although not shown, a pad mounting flange is formed in a hook shape on the outer periphery of the auricle contact side of the housings 3 and 4, and the outer peripheral edge of the pad mounting flange is formed in the flange insertion gap 17. The ear pad 9 is fixed to the housings 3 and 4 by being inserted.

Until now, as shown in FIG. 2, the pad body 15 of the ear pad 9 has joined the front cloth 15a covering the curved surface on the auricle side and the backing cloth 15b covering the substantially flat surface on the flange insertion gap 17 side. And the cross-sectional shape is a deformed cross-sectional shape that is asymmetrical with respect to the boundary surface 21 that connects the joint portions at both ends of the front cloth 15a and the back cloth 15b.
And the flange pressing cloth 19 is equipped so that the base end may be joined to the joint part of the outer peripheral side of the front cloth 15a and the back cloth 15b, and the back cloth 15b side may be covered.

By the way, in the above-mentioned ear pad 9, the front cloth 15a of the pad main body 15 has a lot of rubbing or the like during use as compared with the back cloth 15b, and dirt and damage are likely to occur compared to the back cloth 15b.

On the other hand, in the irregular cross-sectional shape as shown in FIG. 2, even if the flange pressing cloth 19 is reversed to the front cloth 15a side, the flange insertion gap 17 cannot be formed properly, and therefore the front cloth 15a is soiled or damaged. Sometimes, instead, the back cloth 15b cannot be used as a front cloth.

That is, in the ear pad 9 having the irregular cross-sectional shape shown in FIG. 2, when the front cloth 15a is soiled or damaged, even if the back cloth 15b is new, the beautiful front cloth 15a cannot be recovered except for replacement. Further, there is a problem that the stain of the outer cloth 15a becomes an index of durability, and it is difficult to improve the durability of the ear pad 9.

Recently, an increasing number of users demand their own preference for coloring and the like of products, and an increase in color variations is an important factor for increasing the value of products even in ear pads. However, in the conventional ear pad 9, for example, when two types of coloring can be selected, the manufacturer must manufacture two types of ear pads 9 in which the coloring of the front cloth 15a is changed, and the color variation increases. There was also a problem that it was not easy.

In addition, changing the material of the outer fabric of the ear pad changes the touch and breathability, and the sound quality also changes, but in order to allow the user to choose the feel, breathability and sound quality that suits the taste, Headphones of different types of outer fabric materials (for example, the above-described sealed headphones and open air headphones) had to be manufactured.

The problem to be solved by the present invention is that, in the above-described prior art, if the ear pad surface cloth is soiled, it cannot be returned to a clean appearance, and the color cannot be changed. Problems such as the low degree of freedom, and the problem that the user cannot choose a touch, breathability, and sound quality exterior cloth that suits their tastes are examples.

The ear pad for headphones according to claim 1 is an ear pad for headphones to be attached to a flange extending on the outer periphery of the auricle contact side of a headphone housing that houses an electroacoustic transducer, wherein the cushion material is used as an outer cloth. A substantially ring-shaped pad main body wrapped with a flange pressing cloth that forms a flange insertion gap into which the outer peripheral edge of the flange is inserted, and the outer shape of the pad main body is in the radial direction. The flange pressing cloth has a structure symmetrical with respect to a reference plane, and the flange pressing cloth has a base end joined to an intersecting portion of the outer peripheral portion of the pad main body with the reference plane, and one of the pad main bodies covered by the flange pressing cloth. The flange insertion gap is formed on the surface side of the pad body, and stretchability necessary for reversing the pad body to the other surface side is provided.

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of earphones for headphones according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
3 and 4 show an embodiment of a headphone using the ear pad according to the present invention.

In the headphone 31 of the present embodiment, a pair of left and right headphone housings 33 and 34 that house an electroacoustic conversion unit (speaker unit) are respectively attached to the end of a headband 36 that straddles the head and a slide arm 38 and a hanger. The ear pad 41 having cushioning properties is provided on the outer peripheral part of the auricle contact side of the headphone housings 33 and 34.

The headband 36 is equipped with a hinge coupling portion 36a at the center so that the headband 36 can be folded at the center when being carried. At both end portions of the headband 36, arm engaging portions 43 are slidably fitted to the front end side of the slide arm 38.

The arm engaging portion 43 has an elastic locking piece 43a that engages with a recess 38a for length adjustment carved on the inner surface of the slide arm 38, and the elastic engaging piece 43a is engaged with the arm engaging portion 43a. By adjusting the position of the recess 38a for adjusting the height, the position from the end of the headband 36 to the headphone housings 33 and 34 can be adjusted.

In the case of the present embodiment, the base end portion of the slide arm 38 is hinged to the top portion 39a of the hanger 39 so as to be rotatable. Further, the pair of tips 39b of the hanger 39 rotatably supports the headphone housings 33 and 34 by support pins.

When the headphone 31 described above is carried or stored, the hinge coupling portion 36a at the top of the headband 36, the hinge coupling portion at the top 39a of the hanger 39 to which the base end of the slide arm 38 is connected, and the tip of the hanger 39 By folding each of the hinge joints etc. with respect to the headphone housings 33 and 34 of 39b, as shown in FIG. 4, it can fold compactly.

When the headphones 31 are attached to the head, the ear pads 41 close the gaps between the headphone housings 33 and 34 and the external auricles to block external sound, thereby converting the electroacoustic conversion in the headphone housings 33 and 34. Make it easier to hear the sound emitted from the unit.

As shown in FIG. 5, the ear pad 41 according to the present embodiment is attached to a flange-like pad mounting flange 43 that extends from the outer peripheral portion of the headphone housing 33, 34 on the auricle contact side.

In FIG. 5, the sheet-like member 61 that covers the front surfaces of the headphone housings 33 and 34 inside the ring that the ear pad 41 presents is configured to prevent dust from entering the electroacoustic conversion unit accommodated in the headphone housings 33 and 34. It is a protective net that prevents intrusion.

More specifically, as shown in FIG. 6, the ear pad 41 is attached between the pad main body 49 and a substantially ring-shaped pad main body 49 in which a cushion material 45 such as a sponge is wrapped with an outer cloth 47. And a flange pressing cloth 53 that forms a flange insertion gap 51 into which the outer peripheral edge of the flange 43 is inserted.

In the case of the present embodiment, the outer shape of the pad main body 49 is a plane-symmetric structure with respect to the reference plane 55 along the radial direction.

The exterior cloth 47 of the pad main body 49 can be different in color, material, or the like in two areas, the front and back, which are divided by the reference plane 55.
For example, the first exterior cloth 47a used as the initial front cloth is a soft thin sheepskin shape in which crimps are delicately expressed, and the second exterior cloth 47b used as the initial back cloth is It can be a little thick leather-like taste. Moreover, the color of the 1st exterior cloth 47a and the 2nd exterior cloth 47b can be made into black or another color, or is good also as a different color, respectively.
That is, the first exterior cloth 47a and the second exterior cloth 47b are made of the same material (for example, black) as the material of the different material, or only the color of the material of the same material is different. Different materials may be used.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the flange pressing cloth 53 has a base end joined (sewn) to an intersecting portion 57 of the outer peripheral portion of the pad main body 49 with the reference plane 55, and is covered with the flange pressing cloth 53. A flange insertion gap 51 is formed on one surface side of 49.
The flange pressing cloth 53 has elasticity necessary for reversing the pad main body 49 to the other surface side.

As described above in detail, the ear pad 41 of the headphone 31 according to the embodiment of the present invention has a flange 43 that extends from the outer periphery of the auricle contact side of the headphone housings 33 and 34 that house the electroacoustic conversion unit. An ear pad 41 of a headphone 31 to be attached to a substantially ring-shaped pad main body 49 in which a cushion material 45 is wrapped with an exterior cloth 47, and a flange insertion gap in which an outer peripheral edge of the flange 43 is inserted between the pad main body 49 51, and the outer shape of the pad main body 49 is a plane-symmetric structure with respect to a reference plane along the radial direction. The flange pressing cloth 53 has a reference plane on the outer peripheral portion of the pad main body 49. The base end is joined to the crossing portion, and a flange insertion gap 51 is formed on one surface side of the pad main body 49 covered by the flange pressing cloth 53. And a stretch required for inversion of the other surface of the pad body 49.

Thus, in the ear pad 41 of the headphone 31, the pad main body 49 has a plane symmetrical structure with respect to the reference plane 55, and the base end of the flange pressing cloth 53 is joined to the intersection 57 between the pad main body 49 and the reference plane 55. Therefore, initially, the flange pressing cloth 53 covers the second exterior cloth 47b on the back surface side of the pad main body 49 as shown in FIG. 6 and forms a flange insertion gap 51 between the back surface of the pad main body 49. Even so, by reversing the flange pressing cloth 53 to the front surface side of the pad main body 49, as shown in FIG. 7, it is possible to change to a form in which a flange insertion gap 51 is formed between the front surface of the pad main body 49. Can do.

That is, the front and back of the ear pad 41 can be used reversibly. Therefore, when the front cloth of the ear pad 41 is soiled, the back cloth can be used as the front cloth by reversing the flange pressing cloth 53, and the surface of the ear pad 41 can be cleaned without changing the ear pad 41. The durability of the ear pad 41 can be improved.

In the ear pad 41, the outer cloth 47 of the pad main body 49 is divided into two front and back areas divided by the reference plane 55, and the front cloth (first outer cloth 47a) and the back cloth corresponding to these areas are previously divided. By making the color or material different from each other in the (second exterior cloth 47b), it is possible to produce different tastes by reversal, and to improve the degree of freedom of design such as color variations. .

Moreover, since the material of the exterior cloth 47 is made of different materials, the user can select the touch, breathability, and sound quality that the user likes.

In the above embodiment, the headphone on which the earpad according to the present invention is mounted has a configuration in which a pair of left and right headphone housings are connected by a headband over the head. Needless to say, the present invention can also be applied to a headphone of a type in which a headphone housing is attached to the ear in such a manner that it is hooked on the ear without using a headband.
