内部に電気電子機器要素を収容する前面開放の筐体本体とこの筐体本体の前端部に装着される合成樹脂成形体でなるフロントパネルとに分割されていて、フロントパネルの上板部と筐体本体の板金製の天板部とが突き合わされた状態で結合手段を介して結合されている電気電子機器筐体において、

上記天板部の幅方向両端部のそれぞれの前端に下向きに曲成された左右一対の嵌合片と、上記フロントパネルの幅方向両端部のそれぞれに一体成形されて前後方向に延びる左右一対の第1リブにそれぞれ具備されて一対の上記嵌合片が各別に上下方向で嵌脱可能な凹入部と、これらの各凹入部の下側端面に具備されてその凹入部に嵌合された上記嵌合片を支える嵌合片支え部と、これらの各凹入部の垂直な後側端面により形成されて上記上板部の後端に形成された当り部と共働してその凹入部に嵌合された上記嵌合片を前後方向でがたつきなく挾み付ける受け部とでなる支持結合機構と、
上記嵌合片の形成箇所よりも幅方向中央寄りの箇所で上記天板部に下向きに曲成されて下端に摺動部を備える脚片と、上記フロントパネルに一体成形されて前後方向に延びる第2リブに具備されて上記脚片を支える脚片支え部を有するスライド面とでなる支持機構と、
