The spring hinges described in these documents are notable proposals in terms of simplifying the structure of the spring hinge and making it more compact, but both are structures that attach the spring hinge to the temple and are easy to assemble. There is still room for improvement.
The present invention has been made in order to attempt the above-described improvement, and is intended to provide a spring hinge for spectacles and a method for assembling the same that are easier to assemble than conventional spring hinges and can further reduce costs. It is.

In order to achieve the object of the present invention, the inventors of the present invention diligently researched, and as a result, attached the spring hinge to the core metal to be inserted into the temple, making it easy to assemble the glasses. Invented the invention.
Specifically, the present invention relates to a spring for spectacles that connects a temple so as to be rotatable with respect to the wisdom and applies a certain elastic force to the temple when the temple is further expanded from a predetermined deployed state. In the hinge, a spring having an attachment part attached to the core inserted into the temple, a spring part formed integrally with the attachment, an attachment means for attaching the spring to the core, and the core A connecting member that protrudes from a portion to which the spring is attached and passes through a notch or a through-hole formed in the elastic portion of the spring, and an engagement that is formed on the side and connected to the connecting member And a pivot that rotatably connects the engaging portion and the connecting member, and the engaging portion or the wisdom, and when the temple is further expanded from a predetermined deployed state, If it touches the part Certain configured to have a contact portion to elastically deform.
In this case, the spring may be a substantially U-shaped or substantially J-shaped leaf spring in which the attachment portion and the elastic portion are integrally formed by a folded portion.

According to this configuration, when the temple is further expanded from a predetermined unfolded state, the wisdom or the engaging member comes into contact with the elastic portion of the spring attached to the core bar to elastically deform the spring. Thereby, a certain elasticity is given to the temple.
Moreover, the said spring can be replaced | exchanged with respect to the said metal core by using the said attachment means as a volt | bolt. In addition, as a material of the spring, stainless steel, spring steel, or the like can be used, but it is preferable to use a titanium alloy such as nickel-titanium or β-titanium having high spring properties.

The method for assembling the spring hinge of the present invention having the above-described configuration is such that the temple is pivotally connected to the wisdom, and the temple has a certain elastic force when the temple is further expanded from a predetermined unfolded state. In the method for assembling the spring hinge of the spectacles, the step of forming a notch or a through hole in advance in the elastic part of the spring that generates an elastic force, and the notch or the through hole projecting from the metal core A step of placing the spring on the cored bar, a step of mounting the spring mounting portion on the cored bar, and pressing the resilient portion of the spring to push the tip of the connecting member Projecting from the notch or through-hole, engaging the distal end of the connecting member with the end-side engaging member, and connecting the engaging member and the connecting member so as to be pivotable about a pivot It is the method which has these.

The step of attaching the attachment portion of the spring to the mandrel may be after the step of connecting the engaging member and the connecting member so as to be rotatable about a pivot.
In this case, the spring can be exchanged for the core metal by attaching the mounting portion of the spring to the core metal with a bolt.

As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to obtain a spring hinge that can be easily assembled with a simple configuration and this assembling method, and it is possible to further reduce the assembling cost of the glasses having the spring hinge.

Hereinafter, a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
1 is an exploded perspective view of a spring hinge according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is an assembled perspective view of the spring hinge of FIG.

The spring hinge 1 protrudes from an engaging portion 2 provided on the side of the end and a tip of a core 5 inserted into the temple, and is rotatably connected to the engaging portion 2 and the pivot 3. And a plate spring 4 interposed between the engaging portion 2 and the core metal 5 and attached to the core metal 5 with bolts 6.
The engaging portion 2 includes a pair of engaging members 21a and 21b that are provided on the base 24 that constitutes a part of the wisdom and that are arranged to face each other at an interval at which the connecting member 52 can be inserted. A through hole 22 through which the shaft portion of the pivot 3 can be inserted is formed in the engagement member 21a, and a screw hole 23 that is screwed with a screw portion of the pivot 3 is formed in the other engagement member 21b. Further, the outer peripheral surfaces of the engaging members 21 a and 21 b are formed in an arc shape concentric with the through hole 22 and the screw hole 23.

The leaf spring 4 is formed by bending a plate material made of a titanium alloy such as nickel-titanium or β-titanium having high spring properties into a substantially U shape or a substantially J shape, and is attached to the core metal 5. The resilient portion 43, which is always in contact with the engaging members 21a, 21b at the tip portion and generates a resilient force when the temple is further expanded from the deployed state, and the mounting portion 41 and the resilient portion 43 are integrated. It is comprised from the folding | turning part 42 connected with.
A thick portion 41b that is thicker than the other portions is formed in at least one of the intermediate portions of the attachment portion 41, and a screw portion of the bolt 6 is screwed into substantially the center of the thick portion 41b. At least one screw hole 44 is formed through.

Further, holes 41 a and 43 a through which the connecting member 52 can be inserted are formed through the tips of the attachment portion 41 and the elastic portion 43. At least the hole 43a of the elastic portion 43 is preferably formed slightly larger than the cross-sectional area of the connecting member 52 so that it can freely swing in a state where the connecting member 52 is inserted.
A through hole 52a through which the pivot 3 can be inserted is formed at the tip of the connecting member 52 of the core metal 5, and a through hole through which the shaft portion of the bolt 6 can be inserted into the main body portion 51 of the core metal 5 inserted into the temple. 51a is formed.

The spring hinge 1 having the above configuration can be assembled by the following procedure. In addition, the code | symbol (i)-(iv) in FIG. 1 has shown the order of the assembly in this embodiment.
First, the connecting member 52 is inserted into the hole 41a and the hole 43a, and the leaf spring 4 is placed on the main body portion 51 of the core metal 5 (symbol (i)). Next, the through hole 51a of the metal core 5 is inserted, the bolt 6 is screwed into the screw hole 44 of the mounting portion 41, and the bolt 6 is tightened to fix the leaf spring 4 to the metal core 5 (reference numeral (ii)).

Thereafter, the engaging members 21a and 21b are pressed against the tip of the resilient portion 43, the resilient portion 43 is pressed toward the core 5 and the leaf spring 4 is elastically deformed, and the distal end of the connecting member 52 is placed on the resilient portion. 43 is protruded from the hole 43a and is positioned between the engaging members 21a and 21b (reference numeral (iii)).
Then, the positions of the through holes 22 and the screw holes 23 of the engaging members 21a and 21b and the through holes 52a of the connecting member 52 are aligned, and the pivot 3 is screwed and tightened (reference (iv)). Thereby, the engaging part 2 and the connection member 52 are rotatably connected.
Thus, the assembly of the spring hinge 1 is completed. Thereafter, the core metal 5 is inserted into the temple 7 or the temple 7 is attached to the outside of the core metal 5 to complete the glasses with the spring hinge 1 as shown in FIG.

Next, the operation of the spring hinge 1 having the above configuration will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 3A shows a state from the folded state of the temple to the predetermined unfolded state, and FIG. 3B shows the state of further expanding the temple from the predetermined unfolded state. ing.
Although the elastic portion 43 of the leaf spring 4 is always pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the engaging portion 2, the outer peripheral surface of the engaging portion 2 is formed in an arc shape concentric with the pivot 3. During the transition from the folded state (I state in FIG. 3 (a)) to the predetermined unfolded state (II state in FIG. 3 (a)), the leaf spring 4 is not elastically deformed, The elastic force of the leaf spring 4 does not act on the temple 7.

When the temple 7 is further expanded from a predetermined unfolded state (state II in the drawing) to the state III in FIG. 3B, the tip of the resilient portion 43 is the arc-shaped outer peripheral surface of the engaging portion 2. And comes into contact with the base 24 of the end 8 located on the rim 9 side of the engaging portion 2. Thereby, the rotation operation of the leaf spring 4 is limited, and the leaf spring 4 is elastically deformed. Due to this elastic deformation 4, a resilient force acts on the temple 7 in the direction opposite to the expanding direction.
In this manner, the spring hinge 1 applies the appropriate elastic force when the temple 7 is further expanded outward from the predetermined unfolded state (state I in FIG. 3), so that the eyeglasses can be put on and off. In addition to being smooth, the temples have a good fit.

Although preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments.
For example, in the above description, the nickel-titanium alloy has been described as an example of the material of the leaf spring 4, but other metal materials such as stainless steel and spring steel may be used, and they have appropriate spring properties. If it exists, a resin material can also be used. Furthermore, the form of the spring may not be plate-like, and may be formed by bending a wire having springiness.

In the above description, the holes 41a and 43a are formed through the leaf spring 4 in order to allow the connecting member 52 to be inserted. However, a cutout or a groove may be formed instead of the through hole.
Furthermore, in the above description, the leaf spring 4 is attached to the core metal 5 by the bolt 6 so as to be replaceable. However, the leaf spring 4 may be attached to the core metal 5 by other means such as brazing.

The present invention can be applied to all kinds of spectacles to which a spring hinge can be assembled, and can also be applied to all forms such as full rim, Boston type, and rimless.
