Description
The present invention relates to a backlight device used in a liquid crystal display device.
7A is a plan view showing a conventional direct-type backlight device, FIG. 7B is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB in FIG. 7A, and FIG. 7C is FIG. The CC cross-sectional arrow view of (A) is shown.
The
A highly reflective paint is applied to the inner surface of the
The backlight device 6 is configured by assembling the above-described components and disposing the milky white light transmitting diffusion plate 4 using milky white acrylic resin or the like on the upper surface so as to cover the opening 1a. Radiation light emitted radially from the
Further, at least one condensing sheet 9 as an optical sheet is disposed on the surface of the milky white light transmitting diffusion plate 4 to condense light in the normal direction of the illumination surface. Further, in order to prevent bending at the central portion of the milky white light transmission diffusion plate 4, the pin 7 is erected from the bottom surface in the
The above-described backlight device 6 is described in
Both ends of the
For this reason, conventionally, as shown in FIG. 7A, an
In the
As shown in the drawing, the width dimension of the
As described above, the reason why the luminance is lowered at the position where the

On the other hand, the curve d shows the transition of the tube wall temperature of the
As is clear from the comparison between the c curve and the d curve, the d curve reduces the rising temperature immediately after lighting because the
The tube wall temperature at which the

As described above, when the
In Patent Document 2, the cylindrical lamp can be prevented from being bent due to its own weight, but the light source support block blocks the reflected light from the reflecting plate and reduces the amount of light from the cylindrical lamp to the light transmission diffusion plate.
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and supports a linear light source using a lamp spacer without lowering the luminance of the linear light source, and can prevent bending due to the weight of the linear light source. An object is to provide a light device.
In the backlight device according to the first aspect of the present invention, a reflector is formed on the inner surface of a casing, and a plurality of filament light sources are arranged on the reflector via an annular lamp spacer. In a backlight device that emits light emitted from the plate-shaped diffusing means provided in the opening of the housing, and light reflected from the reflector,
The width dimension of the lamp spacer is 0.1 mm or more and less than 2 mm.
In the backlight device of the second aspect of the present invention, a reflector is formed on the inner surface of the casing, and a plurality of linear light sources are arranged on the reflector via an annular lamp spacer. In a backlight device that emits light emitted from a strip light source and reflected light from the reflector from a plate-like diffusing unit provided in an opening of the housing,
The lamp spacer has a width dimension of 2 mm, and the lamp spacer mounting positions are randomly arranged with respect to the plurality of linear light sources.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the width dimension of the lamp spacer is set to 0.1 mm or more and less than 2 mm, the irradiation light from the linear light source reaches the light transmission diffusion plate with a reduced amount of light blocked. In addition, even if the lamp spacer comes into contact with the cylindrical lamp, the amount of heat is not taken away to the extent that the tube wall temperature is lowered. Therefore, the brightness of the cylindrical lamp immediately after the lighting of the cylindrical lamp is affected by the width dimension of the lamp spacer. There will be no decline.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the width dimension of the lamp spacer is set to 2 mm, and the lamp spacer is attached to the plurality of linear light sources at random, so that the concentration of the reduced brightness portion by the lamp spacer immediately after lighting is concentrated on the entire light emitting surface. The luminance is not reduced immediately after the cylindrical lamp is turned on.
