Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a test method for a sintered body having a ring shape or a cylindrical shape, such as a sintered magnet, a defect inspection method for a specimen, and a test apparatus.
Sintered magnets such as ferrite magnets, samarium-cobalt magnets, neodymium-iron-boron magnets, etc., which have a ring shape or a cylindrical shape, are isotropic, bipolar anisotropy depending on the direction of magnetization orientation , Radial anisotropy, multipolar anisotropy and the like.
The magnetic material forming these magnets is mainly composed of ceramics and intermetallic compounds that cause brittle fracture close to ceramics, and has brittle properties. In addition, since the thermal shrinkage (expansion) rate of these magnetic materials has anisotropy depending on the crystal orientation direction, cracks are likely to occur after sintering, particularly in the case of anisotropic sintered magnets.
Since the cracked magnet is inferior in mechanical strength, it is inspected and excluded as a defective product.
As a method of inspecting the occurrence of cracks in the magnet, visual inspection and inspection using a magnifying glass are common, but in these inspection methods relying on vision, small cracks, cracks on the inner surface, etc. This is not a reliable method.
In order to increase the inspection accuracy, there is a so-called color check method using a developing solution, but even with this method, cracks on the inner diameter surface are difficult to visually identify, particularly when the inner diameter is small. In addition, this method requires time and effort for cleaning the developer after the inspection, and is not suitable for 100% inspection.
As an inspection method that does not rely on visual inspection, there is a destructive inspection method in which a certain force is applied to a magnet, and the presence or absence of a crack is determined based on whether or not the magnet is broken.
As shown in FIG. 8, there is a method in which a conical jig 1 is pushed into one end of an inner diameter portion 3 of a
However, in this method, since the inner diameter portion 3 is not a perfect circle, the jig 1 and the inner diameter portion 3 are in point contact, and the force concentrates on the point contact portion, and it is difficult to spread it uniformly. . For example, when a crack exists on the other end side (the lower side in FIG. 8) of the inner diameter portion 3, the
As another destructive inspection method, there is a method using hydrostatic pressure. For example, a method of applying pressure to a magnet by injecting high-pressure water in a state where both ends of an inner diameter portion of a ring-shaped or cylindrical ceramic are closed. (For example, refer patent document 1.) There is also a method of applying pressure to the inner diameter part of a cylindrical ceramic part by injecting a pressure medium into an annular tube (for example, refer to patent document 2).
According to these methods using hydrostatic pressure, pressure can be uniformly applied to the inner diameter portion, and a highly reliable result can be obtained.
However, in the method described in Patent Document 1, it is necessary to close both ends of the inner diameter portion in order to inject high-pressure water, which takes time and is inefficient for 100% inspection. In addition, since the product gets wet with water, a drying process or the like is required thereafter, which also takes time.
On the other hand, according to the method described in
In this way, in the conventional method, ring-shaped and cylindrical sintered magnets cannot be inspected with high accuracy and efficiency, and in the case of mass production of magnets, the entire inspection is performed itself. However, it was difficult to do so.
The present invention has been made on the basis of such a technical problem, and is capable of inspecting a sintered body and a specimen such as a ring-shaped and cylindrical sintered magnet with high accuracy and efficiency. An object is to provide a test method for a body, a defect inspection method for a specimen, and a test apparatus.
The present invention made for this purpose is a method for testing a sintered body having an annular cross section in which a hole continuous in one direction is formed in a central portion, and a step of inserting an elastic body into the hole of the sintered body And a step of pressing the elastic body in the direction in which the holes are continuous and deforming in the radial direction of the holes, and a step of applying pressure to the sintered body from the elastic body deformed in the radial direction of the holes. It is what. Here, in the step of deforming the elastic body, it is preferable to press the elastic body in the direction in which the holes are continuous by applying a load through the solid. As means for applying a load to the elastic body through the solid, there are means by expansion and contraction of an air cylinder, a hydraulic cylinder, etc., and a means for pushing the solid through a rod or the like with a servo motor or the like. A solid is pushed by these mechanical load generating means, and a load is applied to the elastic body. Here, if the direction in which the solid is pushed is a direction in which the holes of the sintered body are continuous, the elastic body is deformed in a direction perpendicular to this direction. Alternatively, a hole may be formed in the elastic body, and the elastic body may be pushed through the solid by the load generating means as described above from the inside of the hole. Even in such a case, since the elastic body comes into contact with the sintered body, point contact can be prevented and pressure can be applied uniformly.
As the elastic body, it is preferable to use a solid rubber-based material. Thereby, it does not take time to press and deform the elastic body, or to release the press and return to the original shape.
Thus, when the elastic body inserted into the hole of the sintered body is pressed in the direction in which the holes continue, the elastic body is deformed in the radial direction of the hole, and pressure is applied to the inner peripheral surface of the hole of the sintered body. Join. At this time, if cracks or voids are generated in the sintered body or the strength is insufficient, the sintered body breaks. Thereby, it becomes possible to perform a defect inspection of the sintered body, a strength test, and the like.
The present invention can also be understood as a defect inspection method for a specimen having an annular cross section. This method includes the steps of setting an elastic body in the hole in the center of the specimen, deforming the elastic body by pushing the elastic body with a solid, applying pressure to the specimen, and applying pressure to the specimen Determining whether or not a defect exists. Here, in addition to the sintered body, the specimen may be a cast or the like as long as it exhibits an annular cross section.
In the step of determining whether or not there is a defect in the specimen, the determination can be made based on whether or not the specimen is damaged before the pressure applied to the specimen reaches a preset value. If a defect such as a crack or a void exists in the specimen, the specimen has a lower strength than a specimen without a defect. Therefore, by setting the set value of the pressure applied to the specimen to a value that will not break if there is no specimen with a defect, it is determined that the specimen that has been damaged before reaching the set value has a defect. It can be done.
The present invention can also be understood as a test apparatus for a sintered body having an annular cross section in which a hole continuous in one direction is formed in the central portion. This test apparatus includes a set surface on which the sintered body is set in a state where the continuous direction of the holes is orthogonal, an elastic body inserted into the hole of the sintered body set on the set surface, and an elastic body. And a pressing jig that presses in a direction substantially orthogonal to the set surface.
In such a test apparatus, the sintered body is set on the set surface in a state where the directions in which the holes of the sintered body continue are orthogonal to each other, and the elastic body is inserted into the holes of the set sintered body. And an elastic body is pressed with the pushing jig in the direction substantially orthogonal to a set surface. Thereby, the elastic body inserted in the hole of the sintered body is deformed so as to spread in a direction parallel to the set surface, and is brought into contact with the inner peripheral surface of the hole of the sintered body to apply pressure.
The test apparatus may further include a determination unit that determines whether or not a defect exists in the sintered body based on a load when the elastic body is pressed with a push jig.
In addition, the determination unit is based on at least one of the elapsed time from the start of pressing the elastic body with the pressing jig, the stroke amount when pressing the elastic body with the pressing jig, and the load when pressing the elastic body with the pressing jig. Based on this, it can be determined whether or not there is a defect in the sintered body. In other words, even if the elapsed time from the start of pressing the elastic body with the pressing jig reaches a predetermined set time, the load when pressing the elastic body with the pressing jig cannot be obtained, or the elastic body is pressed with the pressing jig. Even if the stroke amount when pressing reaches a predetermined amount, if the load when pressing the elastic body with a push jig cannot be obtained, the load does not increase further because the sintered body is cracked, It is determined that a defect has occurred in the sintered body.
According to such a method, unlike various strength testing machines such as a normal tensile testing machine, it is not necessary to determine whether or not the sintered body is cracked by analyzing the displacement of the load, which is very simple. Cracks in the sintered body can be detected by the configuration and logic.
Further, the present invention is a test apparatus for a sintered body having an annular cross section in which a hole continuous in one direction is formed in a central portion, a set surface on which the sintered body is set, and a set surface on the set surface With the solid elastic body inserted into the hole of the sintered body to be deformed, the elastic body is deformed, and the outer peripheral surface thereof is in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the hole of the sintered body, pressure is applied to the sintered body. It can also be grasped as a test apparatus characterized by comprising an elastic body deformation mechanism to be applied.
Here, the elastic body is preferably made of a rubber-based material, and the rubber hardness Hs is preferably 40 ≦ Hs ≦ 70. This is because if the hardness is too low, when the elastic body is deformed, it tends to protrude outside from the hole of the sintered body, and if the hardness is too high, a large load must be applied to deform the elastic body.
In addition, a plate with a predetermined thickness is provided between the elastic body and the set surface, which prevents the elastic body from protruding from the gap between the sintered body and the set surface when the elastic body is deformed. it can. For the same purpose, it is also effective to form a chamfered portion on at least one outer peripheral edge portion on the set surface side and the opposite side of the elastic body.
After the elastic body is inserted into the hole of the sintered body held on the set surface, protrudes upward from the upper surface of the sintered body in a state before starting deformation by the elastic body deformation mechanism, and after starting deformation In this state, it is preferable to set the dimension (height) to be pushed to a level substantially equal to or lower than the upper surface of the sintered body. This prevents the elastic body from protruding from the upper side of the sintered body.
Furthermore, the test apparatus can further include a biasing member that is held on the push jig side and biases the sintered body toward the holding surface in a state after starting deformation by the elastic body deformation mechanism. That is, when a coil spring is used as the biasing member, the sintered body is biased toward the set surface by the coil spring being compressed in a state after starting deformation by the elastic body deformation mechanism. . As a result, after the elastic body is deformed and pressure is applied to the sintered body, the sintered body sticks to the elastic body, and when the elastic body is pulled out from the hole of the sintered body, the sintered body is lifted up. Can be prevented.
According to the present invention, it becomes possible to inspect sintered bodies such as ring-shaped and cylindrical sintered magnets and specimens with high accuracy and efficiency, and even when mass production is performed, 100% inspection is performed. It can be done reliably.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram for explaining a basic configuration of an inspection apparatus (test apparatus) 10 according to the present embodiment.
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
The
The
Further, the
In order to inspect the
At this time, the load applied to the
In such an
Actually, the linearity (correlation) between the load applied to the
In addition, the
In order to prevent the
First, as shown in FIG. 2, it is effective to chamfer the upper and lower outer peripheral edge portions (chamfered portions) 22 b and 22 c of the
In addition, as shown in FIG. 3, a
By the way, in the process in which the
Now, in the
First, after the
At this time, the load acting on the
When the
That is, when it is determined in step S102 that the load detected by the load cell has reached a predetermined set load, the
Therefore, when it can be determined that the load has reached the set load, the lowering of the
On the other hand, if the load detected by the load cell has not reached the set load in step S102, then, whether or not the movement stroke of the
When it is determined in step S105 that at least one of the position of the
Therefore, the lowering of the
By performing such processing every time the
By the way, in the above description, it is described that the non-defective product is automatically paid out or the defective product is discharged in Steps S104 and S107. However, the
On the contrary, when continuously processing the plurality of
As described above, in the
Further, since the

And the
The results are shown in Table 1.

Thus, it can be seen that it is preferable to use a material of Hs = 40 to 70 for the

From this, it was revealed that the presence or absence of cracks can be determined with high accuracy by appropriately setting the set load.
