Description

The present invention relates to a terminal device used for a circuit breaker for wiring, a switch or the like.

Conventionally, this type of terminal device is shown in FIGS. The first conventional example includes a terminal plate 4 provided at one end of a container 1 made of a molded product, a screw 11 screwed into a screw hole of the terminal plate 4, a head of the screw 11, A pressing plate 12 disposed between the terminal plates 4 and through which the shaft portion of the screw 11 is inserted. Then, the conductor 13 exposed by removing the insulation-covered electric wire is inserted between the terminal plate 4 and the pressing plate 12 and the screw 11 is tightened, whereby the conductor 13 is pressed against the terminal plate 4 and the pressing plate 12. And is electrically connected to the terminal board 4. In this case, a plurality of conductors 13 can be connected to one terminal plate 4. Further, the connection is possible even if the conductor is made of a crimp terminal. However, this has the following problems. That is, a laborious work of tightening the screw 11 is required to connect the conductors.

On the other hand, as a second conventional example, there is also a so-called quick-connection terminal type terminal device in which the conductor 13 can be connected to the terminal plate 4 without requiring laborious work such as screw fastening. In this case, as shown in FIGS. 20 and 21, when the conductor 13 is inserted from the insertion hole 14 provided in the container body 1, the conductor 13 is pressed against the terminal plate 4 by the pressing spring 15, and the conductor 13 and the terminal are connected. The plate 4 is electrically connected. At that time, the conductor 13 is locked by the retaining piece 15 a of the press contact spring 15. That is, it is possible to connect to the terminal board 4 by a simple operation of inserting the conductor 13. However, in this case, for example, when a plurality of conductors 13 are connected to one terminal plate 4, there is a possibility that the connection of any one of the electric wires may be incomplete due to a difference in the diameter of the electric wires or distortion. Further, the case where the conductor is made of a crimp terminal is not taken into consideration, and the possibility of incomplete connection still remains.

Further, as a third conventional example, there is a terminal device as shown in FIG. This is suitable for the connection of the conductor 16 composed of a round crimp terminal, and it seems that a plurality of conductors 16 can be connected. The problem remains that the connection work is troublesome.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned reasons, and its purpose is suitable for connection of conductors composed of crimp terminals, and it is possible to simplify connection work, and moreover to reliably connect a plurality of conductors. It is providing the terminal device which can be connected.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the terminal device of the present invention is provided in a container body such as a circuit breaker for wiring and a switch, and can be connected to a conductor composed of a crimp terminal, and the conductor is inserted therein. An insertion portion, a terminal plate disposed in the insertion portion and contacting the conductor, a contact portion provided to face the terminal plate and capable of pressing the conductor between the terminal plate, and the terminal plate contacting portion And an urging means for urging the terminal plate, and a latch that is provided in a substantially shaft shape across the opposing direction of the terminal plate and the abutting portion, and is displaced to the locking position and the locking release position to lock the conductor. And the conductor is formed so that the locking member can be inserted into the conductor from the insertion / removal direction to the insertion portion, and the locking member is locked at the position where the conductor is inserted. When the conductor is inserted into the conductor while being displaced from the lock release position to the lock release position, And the like provided the configuration that may be displaced in position.

According to the terminal device of the present invention, it is possible to reliably and simply connect conductors composed of crimp terminals regardless of the number or the number of conductors.

Hereinafter, a first embodiment of a terminal device according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 7.

This terminal device is provided in a container 1 such as a circuit breaker for a wiring, a switch or the like, and can be connected to a metal conductor 2 composed of a crimp terminal, and includes an insertion portion 3, a terminal plate 4, a contact portion. 5, a pressure contact spring 6 as an urging means, and a locking member 7.

The insertion part 3 is provided at one end of the container 1 so that the conductor 2 can be inserted and electrically connected to the terminal plate 4. The terminal plate 4 is disposed in the insertion portion 3 and can come into contact with the conductor 2, and is provided in parallel to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2. The terminal plate 4 is provided with a through hole 4a through which the locking member 7 passes. The abutting portion 5 is provided so as to face the terminal plate 4 and presses the conductor 2 between the terminal plate 4. In this embodiment, the abutting portion 5 is a part of the container 1 and is in the insertion portion 3. The inner wall at a position facing the terminal plate 4 functions as the contact portion 5. The press contact spring 6 biases the terminal plate 4 toward the contact portion 5 and is formed of, for example, a coil spring. The pressure contact spring 6 is disposed on the opposite side of the contact portion 5 with the terminal plate 4 interposed therebetween.

The locking member 7 is provided in a substantially axial shape across the opposing direction of the terminal plate 4 and the contact portion 5, and is displaced to a locking position and a locking release position to lock the conductor 2. This locking member 7 is made of a resin molded product, and enters the inside of the conductor 2 while being displaced from the locking position to the unlocking position with the insertion of the conductor 2, and in a state where the insertion of the conductor 2 is completed. It can be displaced from the unlocking position to the locking position inside the conductor 2.

More specifically, the locking member 7 is a container body that can be displaced laterally with respect to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2 in a state of passing through the inside of the pressure contact spring 6 and the through hole 4a of the terminal plate 4. 1 is supported, and only the upper end portion thereof protrudes from the container body 1 so that it can be operated from the outside to form an operation portion 7a. In addition, the locking member 7 is formed by cutting a part of the peripheral surface so that the outer shape of the remaining portion is substantially a parallelogram or a thin plate inclined with respect to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2. 2 is provided. That is, the locking portion 7b is located at a pair of opposed surfaces 7c inclined with respect to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2, and front and rear in the insertion / removal direction. A rear end 7e, and the thickness between the opposing surfaces 7c is smaller than the width of an insertion portion 2c described later, and is set so that it can be inserted into the conductor 2 while being displaced.

The locking member 7 is provided with a display portion 7f by projecting a part of its peripheral surface. The connection state of the conductor 2 and the terminal plate 4 can be visually recognized depending on how the display portion 7 f is seen from the display hole 1 a provided in the container body 1. Further, the locking member 7 is provided with a fitting portion 7g that is concavo-convexly fitted with the positioning portion 1b provided on the container body 1, whereby the locking position or the locking release in a state where no displacement force is applied. The maintenance stability of the position is improved.

In this terminal device, the locking position is a position where the locking portion rear end 7e of the locking member 7 is engaged with the bent portion 2b of the connected conductor 2, and the locking position of the locking member 7 is The front part end 7d is a position where it does not engage with the bent part 2b of the conductor 2 to be inserted. That is, the front end 7d is a position where the insertion portion 2c can be inserted, and the rear end 7e is a position where the insertion portion 2c cannot be inserted. The locking release position is a position where the locking portion rear end 7e of the locking member 7 does not engage with the bent portion 2b of the connected conductor 2, and the locking portion front end of the locking member 7 7d is a position which contacts the bending part 2b of the conductor 2 to be inserted. That is, the front end 7d is a position where the insertion part 2c cannot be inserted, and the rear end 7e is a position where the insertion part 2c can be inserted. Further, the displacement between the locking position and the locking release position is a horizontal movement from one side to the other side in the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2.

The conductor 2 connected to the terminal device is formed so that the locking portion 7b of the substantially shaft-shaped locking member 7 can enter the conductor 2 from the front in the insertion / removal direction to the insertion portion 3 and be inserted therethrough. It is. The conductor 2 is composed of a crimp terminal having a plate-like portion 2a that comes into contact with the terminal plate 4. The plate-like portion 2a is substantially U-shaped in a plan view, and its distal ends are bent in a direction facing each other. To form a pair of bent portions 2b. And between the front-end | tips of the bending part 2b is made into the insertion part 2c which can insert the latching part 7b of the latching member 7, and the U-shaped inside is made into the accommodating part 2d in which the latching member 7 is accommodated. .

Connection of the conductor 2 to this terminal device is performed as follows.

First, in the terminal device, with the conductor 2 not inserted, the terminal plate 4 is brought into pressure contact with the contact portion 5 by the pressure contact spring 6, and the locking member 7 is in the locking position and is fitted and fixed to the container body 1. The display portion 7f is visible from the display hole 1a. From this state, the conductor 2 is inserted between the terminal plate 4 and the contact portion 5 from the insertion portion 3 so that the plate-like portion 2 a is substantially parallel to the terminal plate 4 and the contact portion 5. As a result, the terminal plate 4 is pressed and displaced in the direction of the press contact spring 6, and the conductor 2 is sandwiched between the terminal plate 4 and the contact portion 5 by the repulsive force of the press contact spring 6 and comes into pressure contact therewith. Thereafter, the pressure contact state is maintained until the conductor 2 is pulled out, so that a stable connection is made.

Next, when the insertion of the conductor 2 is promoted, the conductor 2 abuts against the locking member 7 positioned in the shaft shape across the terminal plate 4 and the abutting portion 5. Here, the engaging member 7 is pushed from one of the opposing surfaces 7c of the engaging portion 7b by the one bent portion 2b of the conductor 2 to release the fitting state with the container 1 and from the engaging position. The conductor 2 passes through the insertion portion 2c of the conductor 2 from the front end 7d of the locking portion 7b while being displaced to the left or right side in the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2 toward the locking release position. Can continue. At this time, the other facing surface 7 c can act to guide the other bent portion 2 b of the conductor 2 without inhibiting the progress.

When the conductor 2 reaches the connection completion position, the locking member 7 is housed in the housing portion 2d of the conductor 2 and is fitted and fixed to the container 1 at the latch release position. The portion 7f is not visible from the display hole 1a. Furthermore, by operating the operating portion 7a of the locking member 7 to displace it from the locking release position to the locking position, the locking member 7 returns to the original locking position and is fitted and fixed to the body 1. The rear end 7e of the locking portion 7b engages with the bent portion 2b of the conductor 2 when a pulling force is applied to the conductor 2, so that the conductor 2 is prevented from coming off and is securely connected. Can be obtained. At this time, the display portion 7f can be seen again from the display hole 1a, and the completion of the connection can be visually confirmed.

On the other hand, removal of the conductor 2 from the terminal device is performed as follows. First, from the state in which the conductor 2 is connected to the terminal device, the operating portion 7a of the locking member 7 is operated to displace the locking position from the locking position. Accordingly, the rear end 7e of the locking portion 7b of the locking member 7 comes to a position where it does not engage with the bent portion 2b of the conductor 2 when a pulling force is applied to the conductor 2. Next, when the conductor 2 is pulled out contrary to the insertion, the locking member 7 is pressed against the other bent surface 2b of the conductor 2 by the other facing surface 7c of the locking portion 7b, and from the locking release position. It passes through the insertion portion 2c of the conductor 2 while displacing to the other left and right sides in the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2 toward the locking position, and comes out of the housing portion 2d of the conductor 2. At this time, the one opposing surface 7c of the locking portion 7b can be guided while avoiding the one bent portion 2b of the conductor 2. Then, the conductor 2 can be completely pulled out from the insertion portion 3, and the locking member 7, the terminal plate 4, etc. return to the state before the conductor 2 is connected.

By the way, in this terminal device, the connection of the several conductor 2 can also be performed simply and reliably. That is, in the state where one conductor 2 is connected, the other conductor 2 may be connected in the same manner as the one conductor 2. In this case, the one conductor 2 and the other conductor 2 are locked. The members 7 are connected in an overlapping state in the axial direction. It is also possible to insert and connect a plurality of conductors 2 simultaneously. Conversely, pulling out only one conductor or a plurality of conductors 2 simultaneously from a state in which a plurality of conductors 2 are connected can be easily performed in the same manner as the above-described removal operation.

As described above, this terminal device inserts the conductor 2 and connects the conductor 2 stably and reliably by a simple operation of pushing the locking member 7 displaced therewith to the original position with one touch. be able to. Similarly to the connection operation, the removal operation can be simply performed by pressing the locking member 7 to the locking release position with one touch and then pulling out the conductor 2. The conductor 2 is well electrically connected to the terminal plate 4 and is well mechanically connected to the locking member 7 so that the connection of the conductor 2 composed of the crimp terminal is reliable and simple regardless of the number or number of the conductors 2. Can be done.

As shown in FIG. 7, by providing a return means for the locking member 7, the position returning operation of the locking member 7 becomes unnecessary, and the connecting operation is simplified by simply inserting the conductor 2. You can also. Specifically, as a return means for automatically returning the locking member 7 from the locking release position to the locking position, a return spring 8 made of a coil spring is released from the side of the locking member 7. Provide on the position side. According to this configuration, the return spring 8 biases the locking member 7 toward the locking position, so that when the conductor 2 is connected, the operation portion 7a of the locking member 7 is not finally manually operated. In both cases, the locking member 7 can be returned to the locking position, and the conductor 2 can be more simply connected by omitting a part of the labor for connection. In this case, the configuration can be simplified by omitting the fitting portion 7g and the positioning portion 1b.

Next, a second embodiment of the terminal device according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. Note that the same points as in the first embodiment are omitted as appropriate, and different points will be mainly described.

In this terminal device, the locking member 77 is provided so as to be displaced in the axial direction. The locking member 77 is provided with a locking portion 77b by cutting out a part of the peripheral surface thereof so that the remaining portion of the outer shell has a generally U shape. That is, the locking portion 77b integrally connects the front locking piece 77h and the rear locking piece 77i that can be positioned forward and backward in the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2 so as to form a predetermined angle therebetween. The thickness thereof is smaller than the width of the insertion portion 2c of the conductor 2, and is set so that the conductor 2 can be inserted inward while being displaced. Further, the locking member 77 is formed so that the operation portion 77a protruding from the container body 1 changes its appearance when it is displaced in the axial direction, for example, it is formed in a thin plate shape. 4 can also serve as a display unit for visually recognizing the connected state.

In this terminal device, the locking position is a position where the rear locking piece 77i engages with the bent portion 2b of the connected conductor 2, and the front locking piece 77h is inserted into the conductor 2 to be inserted. It is a position which does not engage with the bending part 2b. That is, it is a position where the front locking piece 77h can be inserted through the insertion portion 2c, and the rear locking piece 77i cannot be inserted through the insertion portion 2c. In other words, the front locking piece 77h is substantially parallel to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2, and the rear locking piece 77i is a position that appears to be inclined with respect to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2. The unlocking position is a position where the rear locking piece 77i does not engage with the bent portion 2b of the connected conductor 2, and the front locking piece 77h is bent of the inserted conductor 2. It is a position that can come into contact with the portion 2b. That is, it is a position where the front locking piece 77h cannot be inserted into the insertion portion 2c and the rear locking piece 77i can be inserted through the insertion portion 2c. In other words, the rear locking piece 77i is substantially parallel to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2, and the front locking piece 77h is a position that appears to be inclined with respect to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2. Further, the displacement between the locking position and the locking release position means that one locking piece is inclined from a state substantially parallel to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2, and at the same time, the other locking pieces are That is, the locking member 77 is axially rotated so as to be in a substantially parallel state from a state inclined with respect to the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2.

The connection of the conductor 2 in this terminal device is performed as follows. First, in the terminal device, the locking member 77 is in the locking position. When the conductor 2 is inserted from this state, the conductor 2 is held between the terminal plate 4 and the contact portion 5 and is brought into pressure contact with the locking member 77. Here, the locking member 77 is pushed by the rear locking piece 77i of the locking portion 77b by one of the bent portions 2b of the conductor 2, and rotates axially from the locking position toward the locking release position, Since the front engaging piece 77h passes through the insertion portion 2c of the conductor 2, the conductor 2 can be inserted as it is to the connection completion position. Next, when the conductor 2 reaches the connection completion position, the locking member 77 takes the locking release position while being accommodated in the accommodating portion 2d of the conductor 2. Then, by operating the operating portion 77a of the locking member 77 to displace it from the locking release position to the locking position, the locking member 77 returns to the initial locking position, and the rear locking piece 77i is connected to the conductor. When a pulling force is applied to 2, it is engaged with the bent portion 2 b of the conductor 2, so that the conductor 2 is prevented from coming off and a reliable connection state can be obtained.

On the other hand, removal of the conductor 2 from the terminal device is performed as follows. First, from the state in which the conductor 2 is connected to the terminal device, the operating portion 77a of the locking member 77 is operated to displace the locking position from the locking position. Accordingly, the rear locking piece 77i of the locking portion 77b of the locking member 77 comes to a position where it does not engage with the bent portion 2b of the conductor 2 when a pulling force is applied to the conductor 2. Next, when the conductor 2 is pulled out contrary to the insertion, the locking member 77 is pushed from the front locking piece 77h of the locking portion 77b against the bent portion 2b of the conductor 2 and locked from the locking release position. The shaft passes through the insertion portion 2c of the conductor 2 from the rear locking piece 77i while rotating axially toward the position, and comes out of the housing portion 2d of the conductor 2. Then, the conductor 2 can be completely pulled out from the insertion portion 3, and the locking member 77 returns to the state before the conductor 2 is connected.

In this terminal device, as described above, the conductor 2 is inserted stably and the conductor 2 is stably and reliably removed by a simple operation of returning the locking member 77 displaced therewith to the original position by one touch. Can be connected. Similarly to the connection operation, the removal operation can be simply performed by the operation of slightly rotating the locking member 77 to the locking release position with one touch and then pulling out the conductor 2.

Also in this embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11, return means for automatically returning the locking member 77 from the locking release position to the locking position may be provided. For example, one end of the pressure contact spring 6 is extended substantially linearly to provide a hooking portion 6a to the container body 1, and the other end is bent so as to pass through the center of the pressure contact spring 6 to engage with an engagement groove 77j described later. A bent portion 6b is provided. On the other hand, the locking member 77 is provided with an engagement groove 77j having a size corresponding to the wire diameter of the press contact spring 6 and overlapping with the central axis of the press contact spring 6 so as to engage with the bent portion 6b of the press contact spring 6. The press contact spring 6 is disposed so that the hook portion 6a is held by the container body 1, and the locking member 77 is engaged so that the engagement groove 77j is inserted and engaged with the bent portion 6b of the press contact spring 6. Arranged at the stop position. With this configuration, when the locking member 77 is pivoted from the locking position to the locking release position, the pressure contact spring 6 is twisted in the axial direction, and when the force applied to the locking member 77 is lost, the spring force To return to the original locking position. In the case of this configuration, the pressure contact spring 6 also serves as a return spring, so there is no need to add a separate return spring, the number of parts can be reduced, and the configuration of the terminal device can be simplified.

Next, a third embodiment of the terminal device according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. Note that the same points as in the first or second embodiment are omitted as appropriate, and different points will be mainly described.

In this terminal device, a plurality of terminal plates 4 are provided in parallel by adding an intermediate terminal plate. The one terminal plate 4 is directly urged by the pressure contact spring 6 and is brought into pressure contact with the one conductor 2. The other terminal plate 4 is indirectly energized to sandwich and press the other conductor 2 between the contact portion 5 and the one conductor plate 2 between the other terminal plate 4. , Press contact. That is, the back surface of the other terminal plate 4 facing the one terminal plate 4 functions as a contact portion for the one terminal plate 4. When the plate-like portions 2a of the plurality of conductors 2 are directly overlapped, both may interfere with each other depending on the flatness of the plate-like portions 2a. Can be pressed.

By the way, a gap portion 9 smaller than the thickness of the conductor 2 may be provided between the terminal plate 4 and the contact portion 5. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 13, the spacer 10 is interposed between one terminal plate 4 and another terminal plate 4, and between the other terminal plate 4 and the abutting portion 5. A thick gap portion 9 can be provided. The spacer 10 is a resin molded product and has a thickness t2 smaller than the thickness t1 of the conductor 2 as shown in FIG. Further, in this example, the two gap portions 9 are formed so as to be formed in a single U-shape and are arranged so as to sandwich another terminal plate 4 therebetween. Furthermore, it is provided so as to have a shape or positioning that does not hinder the insertion of the conductor 2. According to this configuration, the conductor 2 can be easily inserted without providing the guide 1 for inserting the conductor 2 in the container 1 or the terminal plate 4.

Further, when the gap portion 9 is provided, the amount of bending of the pressure contact spring 6 due to the insertion of the conductor 2, in other words, the amount of increase in pressure contact load is also smaller than when the gap portion 9 is not provided. That is, when the gap portion 9 is not provided, the amount of bending of the pressure spring 6 is equal to the thickness of the conductor 2, but when the gap portion 9 is provided, the thickness of the conductor 2 and the thickness of the spacer 10 are It makes a difference. Therefore, the contact resistance fluctuation affected by the pressure contact load can be reduced, and the design of the pressure spring 6 can be facilitated.

Other examples of the formation of the gap 9 are shown in FIGS. 15 and 16. In this case, each of the one terminal plate 4 and the other terminal plate 4 is provided with an upright portion 4b that stands on the contact portion 5 side. The upright portion 4b is interposed between the one terminal plate 4 and the other terminal plate 4 and between the other terminal plate 4 and the abutting portion 5, so that a gap portion 9 corresponding to the upright height is obtained. The upright portions 4b are formed at both end portions of the terminal plate 4 corresponding to the left and right sides of the conductor 2 in the insertion / removal direction so as not to hinder the insertion of the conductor 2. Further, when there are a plurality of terminal plates 4, the upright portion 4 b electrically connects one terminal plate 4 and another terminal plate 4 even if the conductor 2 is not inserted. When there is one terminal plate 4 and another terminal plate 4, the one terminal plate 4 is not provided with the upright portions 4 b, and the upright portions 4 b are provided on both the front and back sides of the other terminal plate 4. Also good.

By the way, when providing the gap | interval part 9, the spacer 10, the standing part 4b, etc. will be provided in the right-and-left end part of the insertion / removal direction of the conductor 2, for example so that the insertion of the conductor 2 may not be obstructed. There is a possibility that the central portion of the terminal board 4 that is constantly biased to be bent. Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, the bending of the terminal plate 4 due to the pressing force of the pressure contact spring 6 is performed in the gap portion 9 in the vicinity of the center of the terminal plate 4 so as not to hinder the insertion of the conductor 2. You may project the protrusion 4c to prevent toward the contact part 5 side. With this configuration, it is possible to prevent the pressure contact stability of the terminal plate 4 from being lowered due to bending, and to reduce the material cost by reducing the thickness of the terminal plate 4.

In addition, the structure of the above-mentioned gap | interval part 9, the spacer 10, the standing part 4b, the protrusion part 4c, etc. is effective not only in the case where there are a plurality of terminal boards 4 as in this embodiment, but also in the case of a single terminal board. Needless to say.
