Description

The present invention relates to a hydraulic transfer method for hydraulically transferring a pattern to a decorative body.

Conventionally, as disclosed in Patent Document 1, for example, a decorative body is obtained by transferring a pattern to a decorative substrate using a hydraulic transfer method. In this hydraulic transfer method of Patent Document 1, a transfer film in which a pattern is printed on a film base made of a water-soluble material is floated on the water surface, and the film base is dissolved in water so that the pattern remains on the water surface. By pressing the surface and immersing it as it is, the pattern is transferred in close contact with the surface of the decorative substrate with water pressure.
JP 2002-172894 A (page 3, FIG. 2, FIG. 3, FIG. 4)

However, in the case where an opening is formed on the surface of the decorative substrate, when the decorative substrate is pressed against the pattern floating on the surface of the water, the water flows toward the inside of the opening. The pattern of the water surface is displaced and deformed by the flow of water. In this case, the pattern transferred to the decoration base is deformed or deviated from a predetermined position, and the appearance of the decorative body is deteriorated.

The present invention has been made in view of such a point, and the object of the present invention is to immerse the decorative substrate in the liquid when the pattern is hydraulically transferred to the surface of the decorative substrate having an opening. It is another object of the present invention to provide a hydraulic transfer method in which a liquid hardly flows toward the inside of an opening and a pattern can be transferred as intended to obtain a decorative body having a good appearance.

In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, the opening is closed using a closing jig before the decoration base is immersed in the liquid, and the pattern is transferred to the surface of the decoration base. Removed.

Specifically, according to the first aspect of the present invention, a transfer film in which a pattern is printed on a film base that dissolves in a liquid is floated on the liquid surface, and a closing jig is attached to the decorative base in which an opening is formed. With the opening closed, the decorative substrate surface is pressed against the pattern to be immersed in the liquid to obtain a decorative body having the pattern transferred to the decorative substrate surface, and then the blocking jig is decorated. It is configured to be removed from the body.

According to a second aspect of the invention, in the first aspect of the invention, the closing jig is formed with a through-hole for venting air, and the air trapped by the closing jig when the decoration base is immersed in the liquid. Is configured to escape from the through passage to the outside of the liquid.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, when the decorative substrate surface is pressed against the liquid surface pattern and immersed in the liquid, the opening is covered with the closing jig attached to the decorative substrate. The flow of liquid toward the inside of the portion hardly occurs, and it is possible to prevent the liquid surface pattern from being displaced or deformed as much as possible. Thereby, a pattern is transcribe | transferred to the base | substrate surface for a decoration as aiming, and a good-looking decorative body can be obtained by removing a closure jig | tool after that.

According to the invention of claim 2, when the decoration base is immersed in the liquid, the air trapped in the closing jig and accumulated in the opening escapes from the liquid through the passage of the closing jig. As a result, it is possible to prevent the pattern from being deformed by the air accumulated at the periphery of the opening, and to prevent the transfer of air due to the intrusion between the pattern and the decorative substrate surface. Can be transferred to the periphery of the opening with good appearance.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 3 shows an automotive switch panel P as a decorative body decorated with the hydraulic transfer method according to the embodiment of the present invention. In the description of this embodiment, first, the structure of the switch panel P will be described. explain. The switch panel P is attached to a door trim (not shown), and includes a panel base 1 as a decorative base formed by molding a resin material. The panel base 1 has a flat plate portion 5 that is substantially horizontal when attached to the door trim, and the flat plate portion 5 is formed with a rectangular opening 3 for arranging a power window lift switch. As shown also in FIG. 1, an outer peripheral wall portion 7 that extends to the back side of the panel base 1 is integrally formed on the outer peripheral edge of the flat plate portion 5, and an inner peripheral wall portion that similarly extends to the peripheral edge of the opening 3. 9 is integrally formed. On the surface 5a of the flat plate portion 5, the surface 7a that is the outer surface of the outer peripheral wall portion 7, and the surface 9a that is the inner surface of the inner peripheral wall portion 9, a large number of the same patterns 13 are respectively hydraulically transferred at substantially equal intervals. A switch panel P is constituted by the pattern 13 and the panel base 1. The number of patterns 13 transferred to the panel substrate 1 may be one.

Next, a procedure for transferring the pattern 13 to the surfaces 5a, 7a and 9a of the panel base 1 will be described with reference to FIGS.

First, as shown in FIG. 1, a closing jig 20 for closing the opening 3 of the panel base 1 is attached to the panel base 1 from the direction of the arrow (a) (the back side of the panel base 1) in FIG. 3 is closed. The closing jig 20 is formed of a resin material in the same manner as the panel base 1 and includes a rectangular closing plate portion 20 a extending along the edge of the inner peripheral wall portion 9 on the back side of the panel base 1. The outer shape of the closing plate portion 20a is formed to be substantially the same as the outer shape of the inner peripheral wall portion 9, and the outer peripheral edge of the closing plate portion 20a protrudes along the outer surface of the inner peripheral wall portion 9 and is fitted to the outer surface. The fitting wall 20b is integrally formed. The closing jig 20 is attached to the panel base 1 by fitting the fitting wall 20b to the inner peripheral wall portion 9 (see FIG. 1B). In addition, a small hole penetrating path 20c penetrating in the front and back direction of the panel base 1 is formed at a substantially central portion of the closing plate portion 20a. The cross-sectional area of the through passage 20c is set so that air trapped in the opening 3 is gradually released when the panel base 1 is immersed in water.

On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2A, a transfer film 16 is prepared by printing a plurality of patterns 13 using a water-insoluble ink on a film substrate 15 made of a water-soluble material. Then, the surface of the transfer film 16 on which the pattern 13 is printed is faced up and floats on the water surface W. In this state, an adhesive is sprayed onto the adhesive surface, which is the upper surface of the pattern 13, using a spraying device (not shown). After a while, as shown in FIG. 2B, the film base 15 is completely dissolved in water, and only the pattern 13 is floating on the water surface W.

Next, as shown in FIG. 2 (b), the panel base 1 having the opening 3 closed by the closing jig 20 is arranged above the pattern 13 with the surface 5a of the flat plate part 5 facing downward, From this state, the panel substrate 1 is slowly moved downward as indicated by an arrow B, and the surface 5 a of the flat plate portion 5 is pressed against the upper surface of the pattern 13. By moving the panel substrate 1 further downward, the pattern 13 comes into contact with the surface 7a of the outer peripheral wall portion 7 and the surface 9a of the inner peripheral wall portion 9 as shown in FIG. The panel base 1 is immersed in water.

When the panel base 1 is immersed in water, the air trapped in the opening 3 gradually escapes from the through passage 20c of the closing jig 20 to the outside as the panel base 1 is immersed. As a result, air does not accumulate at the periphery of the opening 3 and the inside of the opening 3 is filled with water. Then, by completely immersing the panel base body 1 in the water, the pattern 13 is pressed against the surface 5a, 7a, 9a of the panel base body 1 by water pressure and transferred in close contact, and the decoration base body 1 is pulled up from the water. The switch panel P with the decoration (pattern) is obtained by washing and drying.

Thereafter, the closing jig 20 is removed from the switch panel P. The removed closing jig 20 can be reused by being attached to the panel substrate 1 to be transferred next.

Therefore, according to the hydraulic transfer method according to this embodiment, since the opening 3 of the panel base 1 is closed by the closing jig 20 before the pattern 13 is transferred, the panel base 1 is immersed in water. At this time, the flow of water toward the inside of the opening 3 hardly occurs, and the deformation and displacement of the pattern 13 on the water surface W can be prevented. As a result, the pattern 13 can be transferred to the surfaces 5a, 7a, and 9a of the panel base 1 as intended, and the appearance of the switch panel P can be improved.

In addition, when the switch panel P is immersed in water, the air in the opening 3 is released to the outside by the through passage 20c of the closing jig 20, so that the pattern 13 is deformed by the air around the periphery of the opening 3. In addition, it is possible to prevent air from entering between the pattern 13 and the surfaces 5a and 9a of the panel base 1 to cause a transfer failure. As a result, the pattern 13 can be aesthetically transferred to the periphery of the opening 3 and the surface 9 a of the inner peripheral wall 9.

In this embodiment, the closing jig 20 is attached from the back side of the panel base 1 of the inner peripheral wall 9. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the panel of the inner peripheral wall 9 is not limited thereto. You may make it attach from the base | substrate 1 surface side. That is, an extension portion 9b extending inward of the inner peripheral wall portion 9 is formed at the edge of the inner peripheral wall portion 9 on the back side of the panel base 1, and the opening 3 is formed inside the extension portion 9b. A smaller back side opening 9c is formed. On the other hand, the closing jig 20 is formed in a plate shape, and a back side fitting portion 20d that fits into the back side opening 9c is formed on the back side of the panel base 1 of the closing jig 20, and the panel base of the closing jig 20 is formed. The front side fitting part 20e fitted to the said opening part 3 is formed in the 1 front side. When attaching the closing jig 20 to the panel base 1, the closing jig 20 is positioned on the front side of the panel base 1 and inserted into the opening 3, and the back-side fitting part 20 d of the closing jig 20 is placed on the back side of the panel base 1. The front side fitting part 20e is fitted to the opening 3 of the panel base 1 while being fitted to the opening 9c. In this case, although not shown in the drawing, the outer peripheral edge of the back fitting part 20d of the closing jig 20 is cut out to form a groove extending in the thickness direction of the back fitting part 20d, and the front fitting part 20e A through hole may be formed in the front and back direction so as to communicate with the concave groove, and a through path may be configured by the concave groove and the through hole. As a result, air trapped in the opening 3 during the hydraulic pressure transfer escapes from the through hole of the front side fitting portion 20e to the outside through the concave groove of the back side fitting portion 20d.

Further, the closing jig 20 may be formed so as to cover substantially the entire back side of the panel substrate 1.

Further, the through passage 20c of the closing jig 20 may be provided at a plurality of locations, and the material of the closing jig 20 is not limited to a resin material, and a porous material having continuous pores such as ceramic is used. In this case, the through passage can be formed by continuous pores.

In this embodiment, the case where the liquid used in the hydraulic transfer is water is described. However, a liquid other than water may be used. In this case, the film base 15 is made of a material that dissolves in the liquid to be used, and the pattern 13 may be printed on the film base 15 with an ink that does not dissolve in the liquid.

Furthermore, although this embodiment demonstrated the case where this invention was applied to the switch panel P of a motor vehicle, this invention is not only the center panel provided in the instrument panel of a motor vehicle, a lid member, and a motor vehicle part, for example. The present invention can be applied to a decorative body in which a pattern is hydraulically transferred.

As described above, the hydraulic transfer method according to the present invention is suitable for decorating a decorative substrate having an opening formed therein, such as a switch panel.
