JP-A-7-228201

In this conventional video monitor protection device, it is possible to use the video monitor with the protection device mounted, but the handling of the video monitor is inconvenient due to the weight of the protection device itself. In addition, since the video monitor main body is covered by the protective device, there is a problem in heat dissipation. Furthermore, there is a problem in convenience when using the video monitor outdoors.

In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a protection device for a video monitor that realizes weight reduction, heat dissipation, and convenience.

In order to solve this problem, the present invention fixes a pair of left and right front protection members and a pair of left and right rear protection members to the video monitor main body via the upper and lower fixing members, so It is configured to protect against unexpected external forces.

As a result, the video monitor main body can be protected without being housed in a trunk case or the like, and can be reduced in weight in actual use, and the video monitor main body is not required to be housed in the trunk case or the like. Most of the surface of the exterior member is exposed, and the amount of heat generated by the video monitor can be easily radiated into the atmosphere, thus providing good heat dissipation. In addition, by using the front protection member and the rear protection member described above, the hood can be fixed to block out disturbance light, and the filter member can be additionally fixed immediately before the display surface, so the screen markings can be displayed during video monitoring. This makes it possible to obtain convenience especially when used outdoors.

According to the present invention, the pair of left and right front protection members and the pair of left and right rear protection members are fixed to the video monitor main body via the upper and lower fixing members, thereby protecting the video monitor from an impact and unexpected external force applied to the video monitor. Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.

(Embodiment 1)
FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a protection device for a video monitor according to an embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 1, an upper fixing member 2 is fixed to the upper surface of the video monitor main body 1 with two screws 3. The upper fixing member 2 is formed integrally with the upper fixing member 2 and has a pair of left and right protrusions extending in a direction projecting obliquely forward from the ridge lines 1a and 1b on both sides of the front surface of the video monitor main body 1 (that is, diagonally forward to the left and right). 2b is provided. Similarly, the lower fixing member 4 is fixed to the bottom surface of the video monitor main body 1 by two screws 3. Similarly to the upper fixing member 2, the lower fixing member 4 is also provided with a pair of left and right protrusions 4 b. A pair of left and right rod-shaped members 5 are connected between the tip of the protrusion 2b of the upper fixing member 2 and the tip of the protrusion 4b of the lower fixing member 4 so that the upper fixing member 2 and the lower fixing member 4 are connected. 7 is fixed. In the present embodiment, the projecting portion 2b, the projecting portion 4b, and the rod-like member 5 constitute a front protective member.

Between the upper fixing member 2 and the lower fixing member 4, a U-shaped rear protection member 6 is paired on the left and right sides so as to protrude in the rear direction of the video monitor main body 1 with substantially the same width as the video monitor main body 1. It is configured. The rear protection member 6 is fixed via a screw 8 so that the end portion thereof connects the upper fixing member 2 and the lower fixing member 4. The connector of various cables is connected to the rear part of the video monitor main body 1 so as to extend rearward when in use. For this reason, in order to protect the connectors, the rear protection member 6 has a longer protruding length than the front protection member.

These front protective member 5 and rear protective member 6 perform the action of protecting the video monitor main body 1 from an impact force or an unexpected external force applied to the video monitor main body 1 when dropped, and are configured at the positions described above. . With this configuration, a protective function can be realized without covering the video monitor main body 1, and thus a lightweight protective device can be realized. In addition, most of the exterior member of the video monitor main body 1 is exposed, and the amount of heat generated by the video monitor can be easily radiated into the atmosphere, and good heat dissipation can be exhibited.

Although the rear protection member 6 is configured to protrude in the back direction with respect to the video monitor main body 1, the rear protection member 6 may protrude obliquely rearward in the same manner as the front protection member 5. Further, the rear protection member 6 may be configured to be wider than the video monitor main body 1 and protrude in the back direction.

In the present embodiment, the protrusion 2b, the protrusion 4b, and the rod-shaped member 5 constitute the front protective member. However, like the rear protective member 6, it is integrally formed by a U-shaped member, You may fix to the upper fixing member 2 and the lower fixing member 4 so that it may protrude diagonally forward with respect to the video monitor main body 1. On the contrary, the rear protection member 6 may be constituted by a protrusion and a rod-like member like the front protection member of the present embodiment.

In addition, you may provide a convex-shaped protrusion in either or both of the front-end | tip of the projection part 4b, and the front-end | tip of the lower surface of the back protection member 6. FIG. In this way, when a video monitor equipped with a protective device is dropped straight onto a flat ground, the first contact with the ground is the convex protrusion provided at the tip of the protective device, so there is no impact. Direct transmission to the video monitor main body 1 can be prevented.

(Embodiment 2)
FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a fixing state of the filter member 9 in the video monitor protection device according to the embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 2, a groove portion 2 a is provided on the lower surface of the upper fixing member 2 immediately before the front surface of the video monitor main body 1. Similarly, a groove portion 4 a is provided on the upper surface of the lower fixing member 4 immediately before the front surface of the video monitor main body 1. The filter member 9 can be mounted between the grooves 2a and 4a in parallel with the front surface of the video monitor main body 1. As shown in FIG. 3, it is desirable that the grooves 2a and 4a are in contact with the front surface of the video monitor main body 1 when the filter member 9 is mounted, or are very small even if there is a gap.

Also, as shown in FIG. 4, elastic members 11 made of elastic leaf spring materials are installed along the grooves 2a and 4a, respectively, to suppress the play of the filter member 9 and to filter members of various thicknesses. Yes. The elastic member in the present embodiment can be composed of a rubber material, a sponge material or the like in addition to the leaf spring material, but the leaf spring material is desirable in terms of fixing force and durability.

With this configuration, the filter member can be additionally fixed immediately before the display surface, and the screen can be marked during video monitoring. Therefore, the convenience of outputting the video shot by the camera to the monitor and determining the composition of the video to be shot is improved.

(Embodiment 3)
FIG. 5 is a perspective view showing a fixing state of the hood member in the video monitor protection device according to the embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 5, the substantially rectangular cylindrical hood member 10 can be fixed to the pair of left and right front protection members 5 by engaging portions 10a provided on the left and right sides thereof. The hood member 10 can block disturbance light such as sunlight inserted into the display surface of the video monitor.

(Embodiment 4)
6 to 8 show how the hood member is fixed in the video monitor protection device according to the embodiment of the present invention. 6 and 7, groove portions 2b and 4b are provided in front of the groove portions 2a and 4a provided in advance in the above-described vertical fixing member, respectively. Then, after the cylindrical hood member 12 having an expansion / contraction function is slid along the grooves 2b and 4b in a compressed state and moved to the front surface of the image monitor display surface, the hood member 12 is extended forward. The hood member can be easily installed so that ambient light such as sunlight can be blocked.

Although omitted in the drawing, an elastic member may be provided in the groove portions 2b and 4b in the same manner as the groove portions 2a and 4a.

The present invention is particularly useful in a video monitor that displays a captured video when shooting a video with an outdoor video camera or the like.
