Description

  The present invention relates to a cosmetic container suitable for putting cosmetics such as a foundation, eye shadow, hand cream, hair gel, etc. It is intended to reliably prevent the pivot pin connecting the lid and the lid from coming off due to wear.

  Compact is the most typical cosmetic container used for putting cosmetics. Such a container has a structure in which a container main body for storing cosmetics and a lid body fitted to the container main body are hinged, and are connected via a press-fit pivot pin that penetrates these members together. The opening and closing is performed by swinging the lid with the pivot pin as a fulcrum.

  The pivot pin is usually made of metal from the viewpoint of compensating the strength. However, in recent years, the pivot pin is also made of resin so as to save time and labor at the time of separation and disposal. When a gap is generated between the support pin 5 and the pin holes 3 and 4, the support pin 5 may easily fall off. In the cosmetic container of the present invention, when the pivot pin 5 is inserted into the pin holes 3, 4, the locking claw 5 a is locked at the notch 2 a of the lid body 2 (locked by undercut). Even if there is a gap at the joint, the pivot pin 5 remains in the pin holes 3 and 4.

  Even if there is a gap in the fitting portion of the pivot pin that connects the container main body and the lid, the pivot pin does not easily fall off, so that the cosmetic container can be used for a long time.

A cosmetic container comprising a container body having a space for filling cosmetics, and a lid body supported by the container body through a pivot pin so as to be swingable.

The cosmetic container according to claim 1, wherein the pivot pin has a locking claw that is locked to a container body or a lid body to prevent the pivot pin from falling off at a tip thereof.   The cosmetic container according to claim 1, wherein the container main body, the lid body, and the pivot pin are all made of a synthetic resin.
