連結具40は図4に示すように載置パネル部材20a、20b、20cに複数の挿通孔24を設けて挿通されることで、載置パネル部材20a、20b、20cにおける連結具40を軸とした回転を規制している。
この場合は挿通孔24が載置パネル部材に4カ所設けられているため、例え連結部断面の外周形状が円形状であってもこの回転は規制される。
芯棒部42は例えば平板状などでねじり方向にも剛性を有した断面非円形状であれば、載置パネル部材の挿通孔は断面が同形状のものが1つでもよい。

載置パネル部材1枚分の載置面21が上部に形成され、キャスター22aにより移動可能となっている。
この状態における搬送状態例を図7に示す。
極端に狭く屈曲した通路においても、患者2を載置面21に座らせて搬送者3は患者2の体を支えつつキャスター移動により速やかに搬送することができる。
これにより、患者を抱き上げて搬送する場合と比較して、患者の体勢は安定し、患者の負担が軽い上に搬送者の負担も軽くなっている。
搬送もキャスター移動により速やかに行うことができる。

小型のキャスター付担架として、狭く屈曲した通路においても患者の搬送を行うことができる。
患者2は、キャスター付の担架10a上に乗ることで安定している。
患者の負担は少なく、容態悪化の防止処置を施した安定した姿勢となっている。
搬送者3も患者を抱き上げたり、担架の持ち上げる必要がないため負荷が軽くなっている。
ストレッチャーを搬送した場所までこの折りたたみ式担架により搬送し、ストレッチャーへの患者の移載は折りたたみ式担架10aの持ち手25を持ち、折りたたみ式担架ごと患者2をストレッチャーへ移載することで、患者の体勢が安定した状態での移載を行うことができる。
この搬送用持ち手25を使用しない場合は、例えば載置パネル部材裏面へ折り返す構造とすることで、担架をよりコンパクトな形状とすることができる。
また、持ち手25の構造も、パネルに直接凹部を形成しても良く、各種構造が適用される。

載置パネル部材20cの裏面22からワイヤーや金具などの傾斜固定部材28aを引き出し伸展させ、別の載置パネル部材20bの留め具28bに一端を取り付けることで、載置パネル部材20cを傾斜状態で固定して担架に斜面21cを形成している。
これにより背もたれがあると搬送がしやすい、階段や斜面などを通る搬送に対応することができる。
図9に示した例では、傾斜角度が小さいが引っかけ位置を変えることで、ほぼ直角にする等何段階かに分けて使用することもできる。
また、ワイヤーもフック部を有する金具等にして強度を上げても良い。

載置面21の一端より操作部50aが突出しているが、載置面21には切り欠き部21bが設けられて連結部43からなる折り曲げ部53cを露出させている。
これにより、操作部は折り曲げ部53cにて上方へ折り曲げ可能となり、操作部50aは折りたたみ式担架をキャスター移動する際の引き手として使用することができる。

複数の載置パネル部材の内部に連結具を挿通させる挿通孔を各載置パネル部材に連通させて、この連結具をスライド自在に内装し、前記連結具が剛性を有する複数の芯棒部と、該芯棒部同士を屈曲自在に連結した連結部とから構成され、前記連結部を各載置パネル部材間にスライド配置したときには載置パネル部材の折りたたみが可能であり、前記連結部を各載置パネル部材内部にスライド配置したときには複数の各載置パネル部材の少なくとも2枚以上が面一に規制されることを特徴とする折りたたみ式担架。   An insertion hole for inserting the connecting tool into the plurality of mounting panel members is connected to each mounting panel member, and the connecting tool is slidably mounted, and the connecting tool has a plurality of core rod portions having rigidity.
