変倍時に可動の負の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群と、
変倍に伴う像面の変動を補正する第3レンズ群と、
変倍時に固定の正の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群と
を備え、
前記第2レンズ群は、
6枚以上のレンズで構成され、最も物体側に、物体側に凸面を向けた凹メニスカスレンズが配置され、かつ、以下の条件式(1)を満足するように構成されている
ことを特徴とする広角ズームレンズ。
