Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact warm water producing device using a catalyst for producing warm water under conditions of NOx-free combustion and high-efficiency heat transmission.
SOLUTION: In producing warm water, generation of NOx can be completely prevented (to achieve NOx-free combustion) by employing mid-temperature combustion using the catalyst. Gas generated by mid-temperature combustion from a gas combustor 1 using the catalyst is sent through a porous body 3 to a mid-temperature water tank 5 to be dispersed, so that heat is transmitted to low temperature water by direct contact. Heat transmitting efficiency is thus improved, with waste gas temperature effectively lowered. A compact warm water producing device without dedicatedly requiring recovering waste heat is thus provided. By dispersing gas generated by mid-temperature combustion through the porous body in the a small water tank, natural circulation force is increased by several times that of a natural circulation boiler with equivalent thermal loads by effect of large buoyancy of combustion-generated gas and generated steam.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

[Industrial application fields]
There are many examples of the use of hot water in heating and cleaning in industry, bathing in ordinary households, hot water pools and hot spring facilities. The present invention relates to a method for producing hot water devised from the viewpoint of energy saving and environmental conservation.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In the conventional method for producing hot water, fuel is burned by a burner, and the generated heat is indirectly (heat exchanger) or directly transferred to water for heating. In this conventional method, since the combustion temperature is as high as several hundreds of degrees Celsius, generation of nitrogen oxides (Nox) harmful to air pollution is unavoidable, and if heat recovery is not performed, low heat efficiency is unavoidable. There were technical defects such as inability to
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The technical improvement problem regarding the production of hot water is to completely prevent the generation of Nox by intermediate temperature combustion using a catalyst (zero Nox combustion). Here, medium temperature combustion refers to combustion at several hundred degrees Celsius. Next, it is possible to achieve direct contact heat transfer by dispersing medium temperature combustion product gas in aquarium water, effectively reducing exhaust gas temperature by increasing heat transfer efficiency, and compact heat that does not require special waste heat recovery It is to provide a water production device.
[0004]
[Means and actions that have solved the problem]
First, it is possible to completely prevent the generation of Nox (zero Nox combustion) by adopting intermediate temperature combustion using a catalyst. Next, the intermediate temperature combustion product gas was dispersed in the aquarium water through the porous body, thereby realizing direct contact heat transfer and improving heat transfer efficiency. For this reason, exhaust gas temperature fell effectively and the compact hot-water production apparatus which does not require special waste heat recovery could be provided. Furthermore, when medium-temperature combustion product gas is dispersed in a small water tank through a porous body, a phenomenon has been discovered in which the buoyancy effect of the combustion product gas and generated water vapor becomes significantly large, which is used for the circulation drive force with the external large water tank. I found what I could do.
[0005]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of a catalyst-based hot water production apparatus. The premixed gas flowing in from the upstream portion 6 is heated by energization heating of the preheating electric heater 2, and then a combustion oxidation reaction occurs in the catalytic gas combustor 1 to rise to several hundred degrees Celsius. The combustion product gas flows out from the porous body 3 below the middle water tank 5 through the introduction pipe 4, is dispersed in water, is cooled by low-temperature water, and is discharged from the outflow portion 7 into the atmosphere. On the other hand, the low-temperature water flows in from the low-temperature water inflow portion 8 at the bottom of the middle water tank 5 and is heated by the combustion product gas to become hot water and flows out from the hot water outflow portion 9.
FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment of the catalyst-based hot water production apparatus. When the porous body 3 is installed in the lower part of the small water tank 11 outside the large water tank 13, the combustion product gas and water vapor flowing out from the porous body 3 are installed at the bottom of the large water tank 13 by generating a large buoyancy in the water tank 11. Low-temperature water is sucked from the water supply pipe 14, heated, and refluxed to the large water tank 13 through the return pipe 12. That is, the small water tank 11 serves as a circulation pump with the large water tank 13. The shielding plate 15 is provided for separating and exhausting low temperature combustion product gas discharged from the return pipe 12.
[0006]
【The invention's effect】
In the production of hot water, the use of a catalyst-based gas combustor has completely prevented the generation of Nox (zero Nox combustion). Next, the medium temperature combustion product gas from the gas combustor was dispersed in the aquarium water through the porous body, thereby realizing direct contact heat transfer, increasing heat transfer efficiency, and effectively reducing the exhaust gas temperature. . Therefore, generation of water vapor in water is remarkably suppressed, and a compact hot water production apparatus that does not require special waste heat recovery can be provided.
[0007]
Furthermore, when medium-temperature combustion product gas is dispersed in a small water tank through a porous body, a phenomenon has been discovered in which the buoyancy effect of the combustion product gas and generated water vapor becomes significantly large, and this is the natural circulation of hot water with an external large water tank. When used as a force, it also has the advantage of being several times larger than that of a conventional natural circulation boiler with an equal heat load.
