Description

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for continuously supplying thick elastic yarn, such as when supplying knit-in elastic yarn to a sock knitting machine, or when manufacturing a paper diaper.

With the recent trend of stretch fabrics, many fabrics using elastic yarns have been manufactured. For the production of stretch fabric, bare yarn of elastic yarn or composite yarn of elastic yarn and inelastic yarn is used. Examples of the elastic yarn supplying method include a method of unwinding the elastic yarn from a stationary elastic yarn winding package and a method of drawing out the elastic yarn by rotating the elastic yarn winding package. As a method for supplying elastic yarn with a draft device for feeding while stretching elastic yarn, a method is proposed in which elastic yarn is unwound from a wound elastic yarn package and stretched at a constant magnification between multiple rollers. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).

However, in the wound package of elastic yarn, the yarn on the inner layer side is fastened by the yarn on the outer layer side. Therefore, in the method of applying the draft as described above and the method in which the elastic yarn drawn from the wound package is stretched at a constant ratio from the beginning to the end with a roller, a difference in shrinkage characteristics and tension tends to occur in the inner and outer layers of the wound package. For this reason, the shrinkage | contraction characteristic and tension | tensile_strength of a thread | yarn fluctuate | varied with time, and defects, such as a shaving sink and a pulling, arise, and there existed the big problem that the product quality of a fabric fell. Accordingly, there has been a strong demand for a production method that can supply elastic yarn with a stable tension and provide a fabric with stable quality.

On the other hand, in recent years, in the use of disposable diapers, from the viewpoint of enhancing the feeling of wearing a disposable diaper and preventing leakage, it is generally practiced to form a gather by adhering elastic yarn to a nonwoven fabric of disposable diapers at the waist and legs. It has been broken.
As a method of supplying elastic yarn to such a paper diaper making machine, a method of conventionally placing a wound package on two parallel drive rollers and pulling the elastic yarn while rotating it and supplying it to a paper diaper making machine has been used. It has been. However, in this method, every time the elastic yarn being supplied runs out, the paper diaper making machine and the driving roller must be stopped, and the end yarn of the wound package and the tip yarn of the next new wound package must be joined. When the paper diaper making machine is stopped and started, defective products are generated, and the production efficiency is lowered. Although the frequency of replacement decreases and the frequency of stopping the paper diaper making machine decreases due to an increase in the winding amount of the elastic bobbin package, the above-mentioned drawbacks are still not solved.

As a method of supplying elastic yarn for paper diapers, the end yarn (tail thread) is provided by wrapping the elastic yarn, and the end yarn of the wound package supplying the yarn to the paper diaper making machine and the tip of the next new pre-winding package A thick elastic yarn supplying method in which yarns are tied and continuously supplied to a paper diaper manufacturing machine is disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 2). However, in the method described in the publication, since the tension of the elastic yarn to be supplied is not adjusted, the tension of the elastic yarn to be supplied fluctuates and a uniform gather cannot be formed on the paper diaper.

Regarding the adjustment of the elastic yarn supply tension, it is disclosed that the elastic yarn supply tension adjuster uses a tension buffering portion such as a large-diameter roller provided with a magnet tensor or a plurality of small-diameter rollers (for example, Patent Document 3). 4). However, as described above, the elastic yarn wound package has a difference in yarn fineness in the inner and outer layers and a yarn fineness difference in the winding form between the upper and lower ends of the wound package and the central portion. Is not a method of positively controlling the tension of the elastic yarn, so there is a problem that it cannot sufficiently cope with the tension fluctuation from the outer layer to the inner layer of the cheese, and the tension fluctuation cannot be controlled sufficiently. .

When producing a composite yarn of elastic fiber and specific elastic fiber, a variable speed feeding device is installed in the yarn feeding device, and the tension of the elastic yarn supplied to the feeding device and the tension sent from the feeding device are specified. A method of adjusting the relationship is described (for example, see Patent Document 5). As an example of the delivery device, it is disclosed that KTF / 25H manufactured by BTSR is used, but this device is limited to fine materials of 17 to 155 dtex, and 160 to 3000 dtex thick material elasticity of the present invention. When KTF / 25H made by BTSR is used for the yarn, the tension control reaction speed of the tension adjuster is slow, so it cannot be supplied with a stable running tension, and it cannot sufficiently respond to the tension fluctuation from the outer layer to the inner layer, and is more elastic. There is a problem that the supply of the yarn cannot follow the feeding device and the yarn is easily broken during the supply.
As described above, there has been a strong demand for a method of adjusting a thick elastic thread to a stable tension over time when supplying a thick elastic thread to a disposable diaper.

The present invention relates to a method for supplying elastic yarn in thick material applications, such as when supplying knit-in raw yarn to a sock knitting machine or supplying it to a paper diaper manufacturing machine in order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method and a continuous supply device for continuously supplying thick elastic yarns by providing the elastic yarn supply device with a tension adjuster including a guide means and a variable speed delivery device.

The present invention is as follows.
1. In a method of continuously supplying elastic yarns having a fineness of 160 dtex or more and 3000 dtex or less, joining the terminal yarn of the supply winding package and the tip yarn of the pre-winding package, and continuously supplying the elastic yarn, a feed device capable of shifting the elastic yarn is provided. A method for continuously supplying elastic yarn, wherein the elastic yarn is continuously supplied after passing through a tension adjuster.
2. 2. The elastic yarn continuous supply method according to 1, wherein a tension control set value of the tension adjuster is 5.0 cN or more and 20.0 cN or less.
3. 3. The elastic yarn continuous supply method according to 1 or 2, which is used in a paper diaper manufacturing machine.

The thick elastic yarn continuously supplied by the method of the present invention has less variation in tension and variation in tension depending on the position of the wound package. In addition, the tension of the elastic yarn to be supplied is stable at the joint portion between the terminal yarn of the supplied cheese and the tip yarn of the spare cheese, and variation is small.
Therefore, when supplying the knit-in elastic yarn to the sock knitting machine or when manufacturing a paper diaper, the product quality can be stabilized and the productivity can be improved.

The present invention will be specifically described below.
The elastic yarn of the present invention may be any of polyurethane-based yarns such as polyether-based, polyester-based, polyether-polyester-based, and elastic yarns such as raw rubber, as long as the fineness can be used for thick goods. Usually, it is not less than 160 dtex and not more than 3000 dtex, and is preferably not less than 310 dtex and not more than 2500 dtex for paper diapers. In addition, titanium oxide or the like as a matting agent may be added, and the amount of oil agent mainly composed of mineral oil, silicon oil, modified polysiloxane, etc. that is imparted to the elastic yarn during normal winding is a stretch product. If it is a range which does not interfere with manufacture of this, it will not restrict | limit in particular.

The elastic bobbin package of the present invention is not limited as long as it is wound with a tail thread. The package wound directly after spinning, or the tail thread is wound back from a package directly wound after spinning. Any of the obtained packages may be used. Although there is no particular limitation on the method of providing the tail thread, for example, after pulling out the elastic thread from the elastic spool package wound directly after spinning, winding a small amount around the end of another paper tube to form the tail thread, It can be obtained by rewinding the elastic yarn so as not to overlap the portion.
In the present invention, the winding package being supplied and the next new pre-winding package can be joined by a method of joining yarns by a normal knotting method or a heat fusion method using a heater that does not form a knot or ultrasonic waves. Well, it is not particularly limited, but considering that it is used in gathered parts of paper diapers, the seam is small, and the elongation and strength of the seam part is not different from the part other than the seam. An adhesion method is preferred, and the methods described in JP-A-9-12226 and JP-A-9-278286 may be used.

The creel used in the present invention may be any one that can lock a plurality of elastic bobbin packages and is usually used for supplying yarn to a circular knitting machine. The number of thick elastic yarns to be supplied to and the number of pre-winding packages to be subsequently supplied may be appropriately determined.
When the elastic yarn is pulled out from the wound package locked to the creel described above, the elastic yarn is sometimes caught on the pull-out side end of the wound package and stretched slightly or stretched due to the sticking between the yarns, A phenomenon in which a large amount of elastic yarn is pulled out while bouncing (hereinafter referred to as a breathing phenomenon) is repeated, and this breathing phenomenon may cause the elastic yarn being supplied to easily come off from a tension adjuster described later. Therefore, guide means disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-39627 may be installed in front of the tension adjuster.

The continuous supply method of the present invention is characterized by using a tension adjuster equipped with a variable speed delivery device. Thereby, the tension fluctuation in the inner and outer layers of the wound package and the tension fluctuation in the package switching part can be adjusted. An example of a tension adjuster is shown in FIG. The tension adjuster 3 provided with the tension detection part 32, the tension control part 33, and the sending-out apparatus 34 which can be shifted is preferable. Specifically, KTF100RW manufactured by BTSR is preferable. Further, the tension control set value is set to 5.0 cN or more and 20.0 cN or less, preferably 7.0 cN or more and 15.0 cN or less. If the set value is less than 5.0 cN, the supply of the elastic yarn cannot follow the feeding device, and the yarn is easily broken. On the other hand, when the set value is larger than 20.0 cN, the variation in the running tension of the elastic yarn becomes large, which is not preferable.

As an example of the elastic yarn continuous supply method of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, a creel 1, a supply winding package 2-1, a preliminary winding package 2-2, and a tension adjuster 3 are provided for each elastic yarn to be supplied. Composed. The tension of the elastic yarn in which the tail yarn of the supply winding package 2-1 and the tip yarn of the pre-winding package 2-2, which are locked to the creel 1, are joined by a thermal fusion method or the like is adjusted by the tension adjuster 3. Then, it is continuously supplied from a supply roller (not shown).

Examples are shown below, but the present invention is not limited to this range. Moreover, in order to confirm the effect of this invention, the apparatus of this invention was used at the time of manufacture of a paper diaper, However, It is not limited to a paper diaper use. In addition, the tension state of the elastic yarn and the molding state of the gathered portion of the paper diaper molded by continuously supplying the elastic yarn were evaluated by the following methods.
<Measurement method of elastic yarn supply tension>
As shown in FIG. 4, a load cell for tension measurement (type 3000 manufactured by Eiko Sokki Co., Ltd.) is provided between the thick elastic yarn continuous supply device of the present invention and a paper diaper manufacturing machine, and the elastic yarn is connected to the load cell. The tension (cN) applied to the load cell during traveling is continuously measured and recorded by itself. The average value of tension for 30 seconds was obtained from the graph on the recording paper thus obtained and used as the average tension. However, the average value of the tension for 2 seconds was determined for the bonded portion, and was used as the average tension of the bonded portion. Moreover, the maximum value and the minimum value of the tension within the above-mentioned time were read from the graph, and the values obtained from the respective numerical values of the maximum value, the minimum value, and the average value by the following equation were used as variations.
Variation = (Maximum value-Minimum value) / Average value

The elastic yarn was continuously supplied to the paper diaper manufacturing machine from the thick elastic yarn continuous supply device of the present invention, and the elastic yarn was adhered to the nonwoven fabric for paper diapers to form a gather. Ten gathers were collected in succession, and the shape irregularities and dimensional variations of the gathers were visually determined according to the following criteria.
○: Good △; Somewhat bad ×: Bad

When the elastic yarn is continuously supplied to the paper diaper making machine from the thick elastic yarn continuous supply device of the present invention, the running state of the elastic yarn from the tension adjuster to the paper diaper making machine is observed, and the yarn swings. The state was visually determined based on the following criteria.
○: Almost no thread △: Small thread sway ×: Large thread swaying and easy breakage

At this time, the tension control set value of the tension adjuster 3 is set to 7.4 cN (machine set value 7.5 g) (test 1), 9.8 cN (machine set value 10.0 g) (test 2), 14.7 cN (machine set value). The set value was adjusted to 15.0 g (Test 3).
When the remaining amount of the supply winding package is 1 kg, when the remaining amount of the package is 50 g, the average tension is applied for a total of five times when the remaining portion of the elastic yarn joining portion and the pre-winding package is 1 kg and 50 g. And the variation was evaluated. Moreover, the shape of the gather part of the paper diaper manufactured at this time was visually determined, and the results are shown in Tables 1 to 3, respectively.

[Comparative Example 1]
The same elastic bobbin package as in Example 1 was used, a magnet tensor was used in place of the tension adjuster in the example, and the test was performed in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the load was 20 cN. It was.

[Comparative Example 2]
The same test as in Example 1, except that the same elastic bobbin package as in Example 1 was used, KTF / 25H manufactured by BTSR was used instead of the tension adjuster in Example, and the tension set value was 14.7 cN. The results are shown in Table 5.
From Tables 1 to 5, in the examples, the average tension is stable at the joint portion of the elastic yarn regardless of the remaining yarn amount of the supply winding package and the preliminary winding package, and the variation is small and formed. It is clear that the gather shape is good. On the other hand, in Comparative Example 1, when the tension variation is large and the yarn amount is reduced, the unwinding resistance of the elastic yarn from the elastic bobbin package is increased, and the average tension is increased. It is clear that the average tension varies greatly, the variation is large, and the gather shape is also poor. Further, in Comparative Example 2, since a tension adjuster for thin objects was used, the supply of the elastic yarn is difficult to follow the feeding device, the yarn is easily broken, and the tension variation is large during the supply. In addition, when the remaining amount of yarn decreases, the average tension increases as the unwinding resistance of the yarn from the elastic bobbin package increases, and the average tension greatly fluctuates at the joint portion of the elastic yarn, resulting in large variations. It is clear that the gather shape is also poor.
