Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an envelope available, unlike a conventional mailing envelope, not only for enclosing contents therein, but also for printing large quantities of data on the sheet of the envelope, and to dispense with a filmed window so that contribution is made to resource saving and reduction of waste.
SOLUTION: (1) A long sheet is demarcated into a plurality of compartments, of which the uppermost end and the lowest end are used as two flaps for sealing and for printing an address respectively. (2) The most part of one side (the inside face of the envelope) of the sheet is demarcated, by utilizing a self-sealing adhesive, and vertical/lateral incisions, into a compartment wherein printing can be provided. (3) The sheet is folded and press-sealed to be made into an envelope with its upper flap being opened, and after contents are enclosed therein, this flap is used to seal the envelope. (4) In case of no contents being required, the upper flap is also folded like the lower flap for press-sealing.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

Description

Detailed Description of the Invention

The present invention relates to a postal matter that contains data-printed paper that is widely used at present as contents.

Problems to be solved by the invention

In the above-mentioned mail, it is common that the data-printed paper is folded and mailed in a separate envelope.
The envelope has an address / address printed on its surface or a transparent window that allows the address / address printed on the contents of the paper to be read from the outside. Using an envelope with a transparent plastic film attached to it, it is thrown away as waste that is difficult to recycle the paper and goes against environmental protection.
In addition, data other than address and address cannot be printed on the envelope, and all the data is printed on a separate sheet of paper and enclosed. It is inconvenient in terms of matching the addresses of these papers.
The problem of the present invention is that even when the amount of data to be mailed is large, a single vertically long sheet and an envelope are integrated, and the maximum amount of data is limited to one sheet within a limited range of postage. It is an object of the present invention to provide an envelope with data that prevents mismatching by printing and can also enclose other contents, and at the same time reduces costs and is not immediately discarded, thereby reducing waste and saving resources.

Means for solving the problem

(1) A vertically long sheet is divided into a plurality of sections, and the upper and lower tiers are used as flaps for sealing and address printing, respectively.
(2) A large portion excluding the upper end flap on one side of the paper (inside the envelope) is used as a data print section.
(3) Folding and pressure bonding are performed by providing a predetermined fold line and a vertical / horizontal drying portion of the pressure-sensitive adhesive.
(4) Keep the upper flap open and seal the contents after sealing.
The bottom flap is crimp sealed so that the address printed on it is on the outside.
(5) If it is not necessary to enclose the contents, the upper flap is bonded and sealed in the same manner as the lower flap.

Embodiment of the present invention
