【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、例えば、工場などの電源ボックスやリレーなどのトランスや工作機械のモータなどから発生する騒音や振動のエネルギーを利用して発電する発電装置と上記騒音を吸収する吸音装置とに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
近年、工場や空調室外機などから発生する低周波騒音が問題となっている。しかし、上記低周波騒音は防音壁を据えても音がそのまま通りすぎてしまう透過現象や、防音壁の上部から音が回り込んでしまう回折現象があるため、防音対策が困難である。
従来提案されている低周波に対する防音対策としては、(1)コンクリート壁などの重量壁での遮音、や(2)ヘルムホルツ共鳴器を用いる対策がある。
ヘルムホルツ共鳴器は、図8(a),(b)に示すように、一つの側面51aに開口部52aを有する箱体51から成り、この箱体51の空洞部53の体積Vと、上記箱体51の空洞部53に連通し上記開口部52aに開口する空気導入路52の径a及び長さdによって決定される特定の周波数の振動に対して共鳴するもので、上記の共鳴現象により上記空洞部53内に導かれた空気を激しく振動させ、摩擦損失によって上記騒音のエネルギーを消失させて吸音する。このようなヘルムホルツ共鳴器50は、狭帯域で大きな効果を得られるため、ブーミング対策や変電所等の特定の周波数での対策が必要な場合に用いられる。
また、モータなどから発生する振動問題にしても防振対策が困難であり、従来、その対策としては、免震装置、防震ゴム等が用いられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記防音壁やヘルムホルツ共鳴器50などは、現場状況によっては設置が困難な場合がある。一方、免震装置、防震ゴム等は、一度機械を持ち上げてその基礎部分に設置するため、持ち上げが不可能な機械には対策が困難であった。そして、これらの対策では、音や振動のエネルギーを他の媒体で吸収(減衰)することで防音、防振対策を行っているため、エネルギーをロスしていることになる。

本発明は、従来の問題点に鑑みてなされたもので、騒音や振動のエネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換して有効利用する方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明者らは、鋭意検討を重ねた結果、ムービングコイルを用いたエネルギー変換装置を用いるとともに、このムービングコイルを特定の周波数にピークをもつ騒音や振動の伝播路に設置してこれを静磁界中で共振させるようにすれば、音源もしくは振動源付近に設置するだけで、騒音や振動のエネルギーを効率的に吸音・減衰できるとともに、その吸収したエネルギーにより発電することができることを見いだし、本発明に到ったものである。
すなわち、本発明の請求項1に記載の発明は、音及び振動のいずれか一方または両方のエネルギーを利用する方法であって、特定の周波数を含む音及び振動のいずれか一方または両方の伝播路に可動コイルを設置するとともに、上記可動コイルを静磁界中で上記特定の周波数で共振させ、上記音及び振動のいずれか一方または両方のエネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換して出力するようにしたことを特徴とするものである。

また、請求項2に記載の発明は、音及び振動のいずれか一方または両方のエネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換して出力する音及び振動エネルギーを利用した発電装置であって、所定の固有振動数を有するバネ部材から成るコイルと、上記コイルが振動する空間に静磁界を発生させる静磁界発生装置とを備え、音圧もしくは振動により、上記コイルをその固有振動数で共振させるように構成したものである。
また、請求項3に記載の音及び振動エネルギーを利用した発電装置は、所定の固有振動数を有するバネ部材と、このバネ部材に装着されたコイルと、上記コイルが振動する空間に静磁界を発生させる静磁界発生装置とを備え、音圧もしくは振動により、コイルを装着したバネ部材をその固有振動数で共振させるように構成したもので、これにより上記コイルの振幅を大きくできるので、上記振動エネルギーを効率よく電気エネルギーに変換することが可能となる。
請求項4に記載の発明は、請求項3に記載の音及び振動エネルギーを利用した発電装置において、上記コイルを所定の固有振動数を有する板バネの自由端側に取付けて振動させるようにしたもので、これにより、簡単な構成でムービングコイルを用いた発電装置を作製することが可能となる。
本来は、音・振動のエネルギーはそのまま電気エネルギーに変換すると微少であるが、本発明では、音・振動のエネルギーを上記音・振動の周波数と同じ周波数で共振するコイルまたはバネ部材で吸収して、上記静磁界中に設置されたコイルを大きな振幅で振動させる構成とすることにより、上記音・振動エネルギーが膨大に増幅されるので、音・振動のエネルギーを効率よく電気エネルギーに変換することが可能となる。その上、本発明の発電装置は設置場所を選ばず、音・振動があれば何処にでも設置可能である。したがって、従来無駄に放出されてきた音・振動のエネルギーを効率的に利用することが可能である。

請求項5に記載の発明は、請求項2〜請求項4のいずれかに記載の音及び振動エネルギーを利用した発電装置において、吸音装置であるヘルムホルツ共鳴器を備えるとともに、上記コイルを、上記ヘルムホルツ共鳴器において最も空気の振動が激しい箇所である開口部に対向する位置に設置したもので、これにより、更に効率よく音・振動のエネルギーを利用することが可能となる。
また、請求項6に記載の発明は、請求項2〜請求項4のいずれかに記載の音及び振動エネルギーを利用した発電装置において、一端が開口した音響管を備えるとともに、上記コイルを上記音響管内の定在波の腹に当たるの開口部に対向する位置に設置したものである。

請求項7に記載の発明は、請求項2〜請求項4のいずれかに記載の音及び振動エネルギーを利用した発電装置であって、上記コイルが、気体を輸送する輸送管の内部で、上記輸送管に連結されたサイドブランチ(輸送管の途中に取付けられる閉管)との連結部に対向する位置に設置されていることを特徴とするもので、これにより、空気吸込管などの輸送管内で発生した騒音あるいは振動エネルギーを上記コイルにより電気エネルギーに変換することが可能となる。

請求項10に記載の発明は、請求項9に記載の音響・振動源の探査装置において、上記コイルを所定の固有振動数を有する板バネの自由端側に取付けたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図面に基づき説明する。
実施の形態1.
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1に係る音及び振動エネルギーを利用した発電装置(以下、発電装置という)10を示す模式図で、本例では、工場等の機械室に設けられた防音壁1に発電装置10を取付けた場合について説明する。
本例の発電装置10は、基台11と板バネ12と振動部材13とコイル14と静磁界発生装置15とを備えており、基台11に機械室内に発生した騒音に含まれる特定の周波数(振動数)と同一の固有振動数を有する板バネ12の一端側を固定してこれを上記板バネ12の固定端とし、上記板バネ12の他端側(自由端側)に振動部材13を取付け、この振動部材13にコイル14を装着する。
振動部材13は、詳細には、上記基台11に平行な水平片13aと、この水平片13aの両端部から上方に突設された垂直片13b,13cとから成り、上記防音壁1側に位置する垂直片13bの先端側に、円筒状のボビン14aに導線14bを巻き上げたコイル14の上記ボビン14aの開口部を、円環状の装着部材16を介して取付ける。また、上記導線14bの両端部は端子板17の出力端子17a,17bに接続されており、この出力端子17a,17bが本例の発電装置10の出力端となる。
また、静磁界発生装置15は、上記コイル14を貫く静磁界Hを発生させるもので、本例では、上記コイル14の軸方向に平行な方向に磁化された複数本の永久磁石15mを、上記コイル14の外周側を囲むように、円環状に配置したものを用いている。
上記発電装置10を設置する際には、断面がL字状の取付部材18を用いて、上記コイル14を、その軸が上記防音壁1に垂直で、かつ、上記防音壁1から所定の距離(例えば、1〜3cm)離れた位置に位置するように、上記発電装置10の基台11を上記防音壁1に取付けるとともに、調整スタンド19により上記静磁界発生装置15を機械室の床2上に保持する。このとき、上記静磁界発生装置15の発生する静磁界が、上記コイル14が振動する空間でかつ上記コイル14を一定の方向を向いて貫くような位置になるように、上記調整スタンド19の高さを調整する。具体的には、円環状に配置された永久磁石15mの内側のほぼ中心部に上記コイル14の中心が位置するように調整する。

次に、上記構成の発電装置10の動作について説明する。
工場等の機械室内に設置された電源ボックスやリレーなどのトランスから発生した、電源の周波数である50Hzないしは60Hz、及び、その倍音から成る騒音は室内を伝播して、上記機械室内に設置された防音壁1に到達し、その音圧のエネルギー(振動エネルギー)により、上記防音壁1を振動させる。この防音壁1の振動は、取付部材18を介して基台11にその一端が固定された板バネ12に伝達され、上記板バネ12を振動させる。このとき、上記板バネ12の固有振動数f0を、上記騒音の基本周波数である50Hzないしは60Hzになるように上記板バネ12の材質(弾性定数)及び寸法を選択しておけば、上記板バネ12は上記固有振動数f0で共振する。これにより、上記板バネ12の自由端側に取付けられた振動部材13は上記板バネ12の共振に伴って振動するので、上記振動部材13の先端側に装着されたコイル14は、上記静磁界発生装置15の発生する静磁界中で大きな振幅で振動する。これにより、上記コイル14の導線14bの両端には上記固有振動数f0と同じ周波数の起電力(誘導起電力)が発生する。上記コイル14は、上記板バネ12の共振により大振幅で振動するので、上記誘導起電力の大きさは、単に上記防音壁1の振動を上記コイル14に伝達した場合に比べてはるかに大きな値となる。したがって、上記誘導起電力を上記端子板17の出力端子17a,17bから取出し、図示しない充電装置に蓄電したり、電気機器に接続したりするなどして電力として利用することができる。
また、上記防音壁1を振動させる騒音の音圧のエネルギー(振動エネルギー)の大部分は、本例の発電装置10により電気エネルギーとして取出されるので、防音壁1から機械室内に反射される騒音も大幅に減少し、機械室内の騒音を大幅に減少させることができる。
なお、上記防音壁1には上記騒音とともに、モータ等の振動も伝達されるので、本例の発電装置10では、上記振動エネルギーも同時に電気エネルギーとして取出されるので、騒音だけでなく、機械室内の振動も減少させることができる。

このように本実施の形態1では、基台11に機械室内に発生した騒音に含まれる特定の周波数と同一の固有振動数を有する板バネ12の一端側を固定してこれを上記板バネ12の固定端とし、上記板バネ12の他端側に振動部材13を取付け、この振動部材13にコイル14を装着するとともに、上記コイル14の周囲に、上記コイル14を貫く静磁界Hを発生させる静磁界発生装置15を配置した発電装置10の上記基台11を、取付部材18により、機械室内に設置された防音壁1に取付け、上記板バネ12を上記防音壁1の振動に共振させて、上記コイル14を静磁界中で上記周波数で大振幅で振動させ、上記コイル14の両端に接続された出力端子17a,17bから誘導起電力を取出すことにより、上記騒音の振動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換して出力することができるようにしたもので、これにより、上記防音壁1を振動させる騒音の音圧のエネルギーを有効に電気エネルギーとして取出すことができるとともに、機械室内の騒音を大幅に減少させることができる。

なお、上記実施の形態1では、特定の周波数を含む騒音により振動する防音壁1の振動、すなわち、振動体の振動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換する場合について説明したが、図2に示すように、上記騒音のエネルギーを受け止めるプレート24をコイル25が装着された板バネ22に装着して上記板バネ22を共振させる構成の発電装置20により、上記騒音エネルギーを直接電気エネルギーに変換することも可能である。上記発電装置20は、具体的には、基台21に所定の固有振動数を有する板バネ22の一端側を固定してこれを上記板バネ22の固定端とし、上記板バネ22の他端側にコイル設置板23を取付け、このコイル設置板23の前面側(騒音の入射方向)に騒音のエネルギーを受け止めるための面積の大きなプレート24を装着し、かつ、裏面側にコイル25を装着するとともに、上記基台21上に上記コイル25の位置する空間に静磁界を発生するための静磁界発生装置26を配置したもので、騒音のエネルギーによる上記プレート24の振動を板バネ22の共振により増幅し、上記コイル25を上記静磁界発生装置26で発生させた磁界中で振動させることにより上記騒音エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換することができる。また、コイル設置板23を広面積とすることにより、プレート24に変えることができる。なお、上記静磁界発生装置26では、発電効率を向上させるため、環状に配置された永久磁石26mのコイル25とは反対側を軟鉄などの軟磁性材料26aで磁気的に結合するとともに、コイル25の中心部に軟磁性材料から成るヨーク材26bを配置して、磁束密度が最も高い部分を上記コイル25が往復運動するようにしている。
また、上記発電装置10は設置場所を選ばないので、上記防音壁1に限らず振動があれば何処にでも設置可能である。また、上記発電装置20も設置場所を選ばないので、上記発電装置10,20を発電所や工場など、常に音・振動があふれている箇所に設置することにより、吸音・減衰しながらそのエネルギーを他の電気設備のエネルギーとして利用可能である。また、道路・鉄道・空港など音・振動のエネルギーが大きい箇所に設置すれば更に有効である。

なお、上記例では、工場等の機械室内に設置された電源ボックスやリレーなどのトランスから発生した50Hzないしは60Hzを基本周波数とする騒音の振動エネルギーを利用して発電する例について説明したが、本発明の発電に利用される音としてはこれに限るものではなく、その他の不要な低周波帯域の騒音や特定周波数の振動に対しても、上記板バネ12の固有振動数を変更することにより対処することができることはいうまでもない。
また、上記例では、板バネ12にコイル14を装着した振動部材13を取付けた構成としたが、図3(a)に示すように、上記防音壁1に、騒音あるいは振動体の振動に含まれる特定の周波数と同一の固有振動数を有するコイルバネなどのうずまき状のバネ部材12Kの一端側を取付け、他端側にコイル14を装着して成る発電装置10Aを用いて防音壁1を振動させる振動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換するようにしてもよい。なお、15Aは基台11A上に設置された、上記静磁界発生装置26と同様の構成の静磁界発生装置である。
また、図3(b)に示すように、ボビン14aを省略し、上記コイル14を構成する導線14Bとして径の大きな剛性を有する素材として上記コイル14自身を、騒音あるいは振動体の振動に含まれる特定の周波数と同一の固有振動数を有するバネ部材とした発電装置10Bを構成することも可能である。なお、このとき、上記導線14Bを装着部材16Mにて防音壁1に取付けてもよい。

実施の形態2.
図4は、本発明の実施の形態2に係る音及び振動エネルギーを利用した発電方法を示す模式図で、同図において、20Aは上記図2に示した騒音エネルギーを直接電気エネルギーに変換するタイプの発電装置20と同様の発電装置、21Aは上記発電装置20Aの取付台、50はヘルムホルツ共鳴器である。上記ヘルムホルツ共鳴器50は、一つの側面に開口部52aを有する箱体51から成り、この箱体51の空洞部53の体積と、上記箱体51の空洞部53に連通し上記開口部52aに開口する空気導入路52の径及び長さによって決定される特定の周波数の振動に対して共鳴するもので、本例では、このヘルムホルツ共鳴器50の共鳴周波数を騒音に含まれる特定の周波数に設定するとともに、発電装置20Aの図示しない固有振動数が上記騒音に含まれる特定の周波数と同一に設定されたコイルを上記ヘルムホルツ共鳴器50の開口部52aに対向するように設置し、上記例と同様に、上記コイルを静磁界中で振動させて発電する。すなわち、上記開口部52aは、上記ヘルムホルツ共鳴器50に導入された騒音の音圧エネルギーが最も高い部分であり、この部分に上記発電装置20Aのコイルを設置することにより、騒音の音圧のエネルギーを更に効率的に電気エネルギーに変換することができる。

なお、上記実施の形態2では、ヘルムホルツ共鳴器50にて騒音を増幅して発電するようにしたが、図5に示すように、上記ヘルムホルツ共鳴器50に代えて、騒音に含まれる特定の周波数に共鳴する空洞部30Sを有する音響管30を用い、この音響管30の開口部30aに対向するように、上記発電装置20Aを設置しても同様の効果を得ることができる。なお、同図において、21Bは上記発電装置20Aと音響管30とを支持する支持台である。
また、上記例では、騒音エネルギーを直接電気エネルギーに変換するタイプの発電装置20Aを用いて発電する例を示したが、上記ヘルムホルツ共鳴器50や音響管30は、上記騒音に含まれる特定の周波数で振動する振動体であるので、上記図4のヘルムホルツ共鳴器50や上記図5の音響管30の外壁部に、例えば、上記図3(a)に示すような、振動体の振動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換するタイプの発電装置10Aを設置して発電することも可能である。
すなわち、騒音等の音が発生している場合には必ず周囲の物体も振動しているので、この物体(振動体)に発電装置10,10Aを取付けるようにすれば、上記物体の振動による振動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換できる。

実施の形態3.
図6は、本発明の実施の形態3に係る音及び振動エネルギーを利用した発電方法を示す模式図で、同図において、40は機械室の床2に設置されたコンプレッサ、41はこのコンプレッサ40の空気吸込管(以下、ダクトという)、42は圧縮空気を送る輸送管、35は上記ダクト41に取付けられたサイドブランチである。このサイドブランチ35は輸送管の途中に取付けられる閉管で、サイドブランチ35の径k及び長さlによって決定される共振周波数を有しており、上記サイドブランチ35内に導入された空気は上記共振周波数で共鳴する。
本例では、上記ダクト41の内部で、上記ダクト41と上記サイドブランチ35との連結部となる開口部41aに対向する位置に、上記図2に示した騒音エネルギーを直接電気エネルギーに変換するタイプの発電装置20と同様の発電装置20Aを設置して、上記ダクト41から上記サイドブランチ35内に導入されて共鳴した上記ダクト41内で発生する騒音の音圧エネルギーを電気エネルギーとして取出すようにしている。
すなわち、上記サイドブランチ35の共振周波数を、上記ダクト41内で発生する騒音の中に含まれる特定の周波数に共鳴するように設定しておけば、上記開口部41aの空気は上記共振周波数で激しく振動するので、この振動により発電装置20Aの図示しないコイルを静磁界中で振動させることにより、上記ダクト41内で発生する騒音の音圧エネルギーを電気エネルギーとして取出すことができるとともに、上記ダクト41内で発生する騒音を大幅に減少させることができる。

なお、上記実施の形態3では、騒音エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換するタイプの発電装置20Aを用いたが、上記発電装置20Aに代えて、例えば、発電装置10Aのような振動エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換するタイプの発電装置を上記サイドブランチ35に装着する構成としてもよい。
また、上記例では、コンプレッサ40のダクト41にサイドブランチ35を取付けた例について説明したが、これに限るものではなく、コンプレッサ40を使用していないボイラーの排気や車のマフラーなどの、騒音や振動が発生している気体の輸送管にサイドブランチを設け、このサイドブランチの内部あるいは外周部に上記発電装置10あるいは上記発電装置10Aを設置することにより上記騒音や振動を低減することができるとともに、上記騒音や振動のエネルギーから発電することが可能となる。

また、上記のように、上記実施の形態1〜3の発電装置10,20等は吸音装置としての機能も同時に有するが、発電された電力を利用しない場合や、電力利用手段がまだ設置されていない段階では、上記発電装置10,20等のコイル14の両端側を開放するか、または、コイル14の両端側に抵抗などの電流消費手段を取付けて上記振動のエネルギーを単に消費させることにより、上記発電装置10,20等を吸音装置としてのみ利用するようにしてもよい。

実施の形態4.
上記実施の形態1では、音や振動のエネルギーを電気エネルギー変換する発電装置10について説明したが、上記発電装置10を特定の周波数を含む音あるいは振動を発生する音響・振動源が近くにあるかどうかを探査するための音響・振動源の探査装置として使用することも可能である。
本例の音響・振動源の探査装置は、図7に示すように、上記発電装置20と略同様の構成で、基台21と板バネ22とコイル設置板23とコイル25と静磁界発生装置26とを備えており、基台21上に所定の固有振動数を有する板バネ22の一端側を固定してこれを上記板バネ22の固定端とし、上記板バネ22の他端側にコイル設置板23とプレート24とを取付け、上記コイル設置板23にコイル25を装着するとともに、上記基台21上に上記静磁界発生装置26を設置して取付けた構成となっている。また、コイル25の両端部が接続される端子板27には、上記コイル25の両端側の電圧、あるいは、上記コイル25に流れる電流を検出する検出装置27Sが設けられている。
上記音響・振動源の探査装置20Zは持ち運びが容易な構造であるので、例えば、工場内の各場所に、上記音響・振動源の探査装置20Zを移動させると、上記音響・振動源の探査装置20Zの近くに上記板バネ22の固有振動数と同じ周波数を含む音あるいは振動を発生する音響・振動源Sがあった場合には、音響・振動源Sからの音圧あるいは振動により上記板バネ22が共振し、上記コイル25の両端側に上記周波数の誘導起電力が発生するので、これを上記検出装置27Sにより検出することにより、上記音響・振動源の探査装置20Zの近傍に上記音響・振動源Sがあることを容易に検知することができる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように、本発明によれば、特定の周波数を含む音や振動の伝播路に可動コイルを設置するとともに、上記可動コイルを静磁界中で上記特定の周波数で共振させ、上記音や振動のエネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換して出力するようにしたので、騒音や振動のエネルギーを効率的に電気エネルギーに有効に変換することができるとともに、上記音や振動の伝播を大幅に低減することができる。
また、本発明の発電装置は設置場所を選ばないので、発電所や工場など、常に音・振動があふれている箇所に設置することにより、吸音・減衰しながらそのエネルギーを他の電気設備のエネルギーとして利用することができる。
また、本発明の発電装置を、吸音装置や音響・振動源の探査装置に容易に適用することもできる。
