BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a run-flat tire molding drum that can run even when punctured while a vehicle is running. More specifically, the air between the inner liner and the reinforcing layer is efficiently dispersed during tire molding, and blister (bubble ) The present invention relates to a run-flat tire molding drum that can suppress the occurrence of failure.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in a tire molding process, an inner liner, a reinforcing layer, a carcass material, and the like are sequentially pasted on a molding drum to form the air. When these materials are pasted, air is entrained between the materials. Is known to become blisters (bubbles) during vulcanization molding, affecting tire failure and quality.
[0003]
For this reason, the surface of the side tread is recessed so that one of the bonding surfaces of the bonding sheet is preliminarily processed with a groove for discharging air and the air between the green tire and the vulcanizing mold is discharged. Alternatively, a method of performing groove processing for connecting a part of the recesses in a stitch shape is performed.
[0004]
Also, when molding run-flat tires that can run even when the vehicle is punctured, an inner liner is pasted on multiple expandable drum flanges, and a reinforcing layer is pasted on the inner liner near both ends of the drum flange. Further, a method of attaching a carcass material thereon is performed.
[0005]
However, even in the formation of such a run-flat tire, air accumulates between the reinforcing layer and the inner liner, and a blister (bubble) failure occurs. In order to reduce the amount of air accumulation, drum flange profile shape, reinforcing layer shape, inner liner or reinforcing layer is grooved, etc., making it difficult to entrain air during molding, dispersing it, and extracting air Methods have been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional air venting method as described above is greatly affected by variations in the state of the material, such as the shape of the sheet-like material, priking, and material tack (adhesive force), and the profile of the molding drum. There is a problem that it is difficult to discharge and disperse air, and thus it is difficult to suppress the occurrence of blister failure.
[0008]
The present invention pays attention to such conventional problems, and can efficiently discharge and disperse air without being affected by variations in the state of the material and the profile of the forming drum, thereby suppressing the occurrence of blister failure. An object of the present invention is to provide a run-flat tire forming drum that can be used.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the gist of the present invention is that air bleed grooves are formed at predetermined intervals in the drum circumferential direction on the surfaces near both ends of the drum flange.
[0010]
Here, the air vent groove is formed at an angle of 45 to 80 degrees with respect to the drum circumferential direction, and the air vent groove is 1 mm deep on the surface near both ends of the drum flange. It is formed at an interval of 5 mm to 20 mm with respect to the drum circumferential direction.
[0011]
In this way, air grooves are formed at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction of the drum on the surface near both ends of the drum flange, so that the air is not affected by variations in the material state or profile of the forming drum. Can be efficiently discharged or dispersed, and the occurrence of blister failure can be suppressed.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0013]
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a forming drum of a run flat tire embodying the present invention, FIG. 2 is a half sectional view of a run flat tire formed by the forming drum of FIG. 1, and the forming drum 1 can be expanded and contracted. A plurality of drum flanges 2 (divided into 10 in this embodiment, but not limited to the number of divisions) are arranged in a circular shape, and both ends 2a in the width direction of each drum flange 2 have a predetermined width, It is formed thinner than the thickness of the central portion 2b.
[0014]
On the surface of each drum flange 2 in the vicinity of both ends 2a formed thinly, there are regular air vent grooves 3 at a predetermined interval P, a predetermined angle α and a predetermined depth H in the drum circumferential direction. Is formed.
[0015]
The interval P between the concave grooves 3 depends on the size and thickness of the molding drum 1, but is preferably formed at an interval of 5 mm to 20 mm with respect to the drum circumferential direction. Is preferably 45 to 80 degrees, and the depth H of the groove 3 is preferably 1 to 5 mm.
[0016]
When the run flat tire W as shown in FIG. 2 is manufactured using such a molding drum 1, a thin rubber-like elastic material (for example, a thermoplastic material in which rubber and resin are mixed) is formed on the molding drum 1. An inner liner 4 made of an elastomer sheet or the like is affixed, and a reinforcing layer 5 having a rhombus cross section is affixed to the two ends 2a of the drum flange 2 that are thin, and a carcass material 6 is affixed thereon. .
[0017]
Further, the reinforcing layer 7, the side tread 8, the tread 9, and the like are sequentially pasted and formed.
[0018]
In the embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, after the inner liner 4 is pasted on the drum flange 2 of the molding drum 1 having a reduced diameter, the diameter of the drum flange 2 is increased to change the inner liner 4. Fit to drum profile.
[0019]
At this time, the flexible thin inner liner 4 bites in along the concave grooves 3 formed on the surfaces of the two ends near 2a of each drum flange 2 as described above, and the surface of the inner liner 4 has a concave streak shape. Become.
[0020]
When the reinforcing layer 5 is affixed on the inner liner 4 in such a state, a large number of streaky air venting spaces X are formed between the inner liner 4 and the reinforcing layer 5, and the subsequent material At the time of pasting or tire vulcanization molding, air is dispersed from the space X or discharged to the outside to prevent the occurrence of blister failure after molding.
[0021]
As described above, according to the embodiment of the present invention, the concave grooves 3 for air bleeding are formed at predetermined intervals in the drum circumferential direction on the surface of the vicinity 2a of each end of each drum flange 2. The air can be efficiently discharged and dispersed without being influenced by the profile of the forming drum, and the occurrence of blister failure can be suppressed.
[0022]
【The invention's effect】
In the present invention, as described above, the concave grooves for air venting are formed at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction of the drum on the surface in the vicinity of both ends of the drum flange. Therefore, the present invention is affected by the variation in the material state and the profile of the forming drum. Therefore, air can be efficiently discharged and dispersed, and blister failure can be prevented in advance.
