Description

【0001】

Further, in the illustrated example, the cable clamping notches 12A and 13A corresponding to the cable clamping notches 12A and 13A of the half case are provided at both ends in the axial direction of the elastic member 21 (the direction of arrow a in FIGS. 1 and 6). A portion 24A and a notch portion 24B for holding the cable corresponding to the notch portions 12B and 13B for holding the cable of the half case are formed. And it has the bead part 25 in the contact surface 23 containing notch part 24A, 24B for cable clamping.
[0014]
Such an elastic member 21 has the contact surfaces 23 of the elastic members 21 attached to the case halves in contact with each other in the state where the case halves 12 and 13 are closed as described above, and the cable. The notch portions 24A and 24B for clamping hold the cable. Thereby, the space for storing the cable connection part formed so that the cable connection part storage recesses 17 of the case halves face each other is in a liquid-tight state, and a high waterproof function is exhibited. In particular, by forming the bead portion 25 on the elastic member 21 as described above, the bead portions 25 facing each other are pressure-bonded and the bead portions 25 are pressure-bonded to the cable. Obtainable.
[0015]
The elastic members 21 and 21 preferably have such a hardness that the contact surface 23 is pressed and deformed to achieve a high liquid-tight state. For example, the hardness in the JIS K6253 spring type A is 0. Materials in the range of ~ 30, preferably 0-15 can be used. Examples of such a material include ethylene propylene rubber, silicon rubber, isobutylene isoprene rubber, butadiene rubber, and any mixture thereof. After adding additives such as a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization accelerator to such a rubber material, the elastic member 21 is formed by kneading with a kneader and molding and vulcanizing the resulting rubber mixture into a predetermined shape. Can be produced. Examples of the vulcanizing agent to be used include sulfur, peroxides, quinoids, resins such as alkylphenol / formaldehyde resins and alkylphenol / sulfide resins (for example, trade name Tacrol, trade name Sumilite Resin) and the like. It can be selected appropriately according to the rubber material. Moreover, thiourea type, guanidine type, thiazole type, sulfenamide type, thiuram type, dithiocarbamate type and the like can be used as a vulcanization accelerator. The rubber mixture may contain an anti-aging agent, an organic fatty acid such as stearic acid, and a filler such as carbon black as necessary. Such an additive is preferably contained in the range of 5 to 250 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the rubber material.
[0016]
Next, the use state of the waterproof device 1 for the cable connecting portion of the present invention will be described.
FIG. 8 is a diagram showing a case where the waterproofing device 1 of the present invention is attached to the connecting portion 53 of the coaxial cables 51 and 52 having different diameters to perform waterproofing. The case body 11 is arranged in the connection portion 53 of the coaxial cables 51 and 52 so that the connection portion 53 is stored in the cable connection portion storage recess 17 of the case halves 12 and 13. Thereafter, the case halves 12 and 13 are folded around the hinge portion 14 so as to be closed, the engaging claw portion 19 is inserted and locked into the insertion hole of the engagement receiving portion 18, and the waterproof device 1 is mounted. As a result, the pair of elastic members 21 and 21 attached to the case halves 12 and 13 come into contact with each other at the contact surface 23, and the elastic members 21 and 21 are crimped to the coaxial cables 51 and 52 to connect the cables. The inside of the part housing recess 17 is made liquid-tight. Therefore, waterproofing of the cable connection portion 53 is extremely simple. Moreover, since the elastic members 21 and 21 are protected by the case body 11 including the pair of case halves 12 and 13, the waterproof function can be stably maintained against external force.
[0017]
FIG. 9 is a view showing a state in which the waterproof device 1 of the present invention is attached to the connection portion 67 between the connector (receptacle) 61 of the device and the coaxial cable 65. In the illustrated example, the connector 61 disposed on the chassis 60 of the device does not have a large space between the other surfaces of the chassis 60, and when the coaxial cable 65 is connected, waterproof work using a conventional tape is performed. Is difficult to do. However, the working space required for the closing operation so that the connection portion 67 is accommodated in the pair of case halves 12 and 13 of the waterproof device 1 of the present invention is sufficiently secured even in the illustrated example. Therefore, by using the waterproof device 1 of the present invention, it is possible to perform waterproofing in a minimum work space. Further, when a malfunction occurs in the device and the connection between the connector 61 and the coaxial cable 65 is released, the waterproof device 1 can be easily removed by removing the engagement claw portion 19 from the insertion hole of the engagement receiving portion 18. .
[0018]
The waterproof device described above is an embodiment, and the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the above-described case halves 12 and 13 may be independent and separate case halves 12 and 13 without being connected via a hinge portion as shown in FIG. In this case, engagement receiving portions 18 and 18 each having an insertion hole for engagement are provided on the opposite end portion of one case half 12, and the opposite end portion of the other case half 13 is provided on the opposite end portion. The engaging claw portions 19 can be provided. Thus, the case halves 12 and 13 are opposed and closed so as to accommodate the cable connection portion, and the engaging claw portion 19 is inserted and locked into the insertion hole of the engagement receiving portion 18 to thereby secure the waterproof device 1. Can be installed.
[0019]
In addition, the shape of the case halves 12 and 13 constituting the case body 11, the dimensions of each part such as the partition member 15, the shapes and dimensions of the elastic members 21 and 21, etc. are the shape and dimensions of the cable connection part to be waterproofed. It can set suitably according to etc. For example, although the shape of the partition member 15 is a corridor shape in the illustrated example, if the inside of the case half can be partitioned into the elastic member mounting recess 16 and the cable connection portion storage recess 17 and the elastic member 21 can be mounted and held. The shape is not particularly limited. Further, the shapes of the engagement receiving portion 18 and the engagement claw portion 19 are not limited to the illustrated example, and further, the outer peripheral portion of the waterproof device of the present invention, which is accommodated by closing the cable connection portion, is tightened by a fastener such as a belt. It may be sealed.
[0020]
Moreover, in the above-mentioned example, the case half body 12 and the case half body 13 have the cable connection part accommodation recessed part 17 of the same magnitude | size (depth). The present invention is not limited to this. For example, the case half body 12 and the case half body 13 have different sizes (depths), for example, the case half body 12 has a large (deep) cable connection portion housing recess, and the case half body 13 is small ( (Shallow) The cable connecting portion housing recess is provided, and the size of the closed portion may be the same as that of the waterproof device 1 described above.
[0021]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, a pair of case halves are closed and attached in a state where the cable connection portion is housed in the cable connection portion housing recess, so that a pair attached to each case half is attached. Since the elastic member of the cable contacts the contact surface to make the inside of the cable connection portion storage recess liquid-tight, the waterproof processing of the cable connection portion is simplified, and it is necessary for closing the pair of case halves. It is possible to perform waterproofing in a minimum work space, without hindering downsizing of the equipment, and furthermore, the elastic member is protected by the case body consisting of a pair of case halves, so In contrast, the waterproof function can be maintained stably, and it can be used for any connection between cables and between cable and connector (receptacle). That.
