Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device for a packaged drink improved such that it is possible to efficiently heat the drink in a drink container by preventing the drink container from being deformed owing to a rapid internal pressure change in the container during heating, and that it is possible to deal with the conveying of the container into a heating chamber, its storage, and the stirring of the drink by a simple mechanism, and provide a vending machine using the heating device. <P>SOLUTION: This heating device for a packaged drink is constituted of a heating chamber 3 equipped with a warm water injection nozzle 15 and a motor driving type rotary gripper 13 for storing the beverage container of merchandise(canned beverage) inside the chamber, a conveying mechanism 4 for conveying merchandise to the heating chamber, a warm water tank 5, a water conveying pump 6 and a circulating water conveying pipe 7, wherein the merchandise(stored in a normal temperature) is conveyed to the heating chamber based on a command, and hot warm water conveyed from the warm water tank is injected to the beverage container so that the contents beverage can be heated. 本発明は、缶,びん,ペットボトル商品などの飲料商品を対象に、その飲料容器に高温水を吹きつけて加熱する容器入り飲料の加熱装置,およびその加熱装置を用いて庫内に常温状態で貯蔵していた商品をホット商品として販売する自動販売機に関する。

【従来の技術】
自動販売機に適用する頭記の容器入り飲料の加熱装置としては、電磁誘導加熱方式,高温水に浸漬する加熱方式のほかに、販売時に庫内の商品収納ラックから払出した缶,びん,ペットボトルなどの容器入り飲料商品を加熱装置に導き、ここで飲料容器に高温水を吹きつけて中身飲料を加熱するようにした方式のものが知られている(例えば、特許文献1参照。)。

上記の特許文献1に開示されている加熱装置は、商品販売時に機内の商品搬出経路から取り込んだ飲料容器を横置姿勢に保持して加熱室内に搬入し、この搬入位置で飲料容器を回転(自転)して中身飲料を攪拌させつつ、加熱室内に備えた噴射ノズルを通じて高温水を飲料容器の周面に吹きつけて加熱するようにしたもので、この加熱室に温水タンク,送水ポンプ,および温水の循環送水管路を組み合わせて加熱装置を構成している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、前記した従来の加熱装置を用いて容器入り飲料を加熱すると、次記のような問題点が発生する。

すなわち、飲料容器を横置姿勢に保持した状態では中身飲料の液面が容器の長手方向に形成され、その液面の上方と飲料容器の周壁との間が空気(または炭酸ガスなど)で満たされた空間となる。この状態で容器を回転させながら容器周面に高温水を吹きつけと、中身飲料と前記空間を満たしている空気との間に比熱の相違によって過渡的に温度差が生じ、この温度差のある媒質が飲料容器の回転によって互いに混ざり合う。

この場合に、缶入りコーヒーのように缶の内圧を多少負圧にして中身飲料を封入した商品では、前記のように飲料容器を回転させながらその周面に高温水を吹きつけると、高温に加熱されて膨張した空気が未だ十分に加熱が進んでない低温の飲料に放熱して収縮し、このために缶内の内圧が局所的に急減変化し、これが基で缶が凹むなどして変形してしまうことがある。

そのほかに、飲料容器を横置姿勢に保持して加熱室内に搬入し、回転させるには、商品の搬送機構,および回転駆動機構が複雑となる問題もある。

そこで、本発明の目的は前記課題を解決し、加熱中に飲料容器の内圧変化で容器が変形するトラブルを防いで中身飲料を効率よく加熱でき、併せて加熱室への飲料容器の搬入,保持,および飲料攪拌が簡単な機構で対応できるように改良した容器入り飲料の加熱装置,およびその加熱装置を用いた自動販売機を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明によれば、温水噴射手段および飲料容器を定位置に保持して中身飲料を攪拌する手段を備えた加熱室と、該加熱室に飲料容器を保持して送り込む搬送手段と、温水を貯留するヒータ付き温水タンクと、該温水タンクから送水ポンプ,加熱室を経由して温水タンクに戻る温水の循環送水管路とを組み合わせた構成になり、指令に基づき飲料容器を加熱室に搬入した上で、温水タンクから送水した高温水を飲料容器に噴射して加熱するようにした加熱方式の容器入り飲料の加熱装置において、
前記加熱室を縦向きに配置し、搬送手段により下方から加熱室内に搬入した飲料商品を直立姿勢に保持し、この状態で飲料容器を回転して中身飲料を攪拌しながら容器の周面に高温水を吹きつけるようにした構成とする(請求項1)。

上記のように加熱室に搬入した飲料容器を直立姿勢に保持することにより、飲料容器に封入されている空気と中身飲料とは上下に分離して空気は全て容器の頂部空間に集まり、液面以下の領域は中身飲料で満たされる。したがって、この直立姿勢を保ったまま飲料容器を回転して中身飲料を攪拌しつつ、その周面に高温水を吹きつけることにより、従来装置のように飲料容器を横置姿勢に保持して周面から高温水を吹きつけた場合に、空気と飲料との混ざり合いに起因して容器内に生じる局所的な内圧の急激変化が発生せず、かつ中身飲料と容器壁面との間の伝熱面積も増して熱貫流効率も向上し、これにより飲料容器の変形のおそれなしに、中身飲料が短時間で効率よく加熱されるようになる。

また、本発明によれば、前記の加熱装置を構成する各部について、次記のような具体的態様で構成することができる。

(1) 加熱室を、下面に飲料容器の出入り口を開口したハウジングと、該ハウジングの室内上部に配置して前記出入り口より搬入した飲料容器の頂部を把持する回転式グリッパと、グリッパに連結した駆動モータと、ハウジングの室内周域に分散して循環送水管路の温水供給管に接続した温水噴射ノズルを配置した構成とし、下方からハウジングに搬入した飲料容器を前記グリッパで直立姿勢に把持し、この状態で駆動モータにより飲料容器を回転しつつ、その周囲から噴射ノズルを通じて高温水を吹きつけて中身飲料を加熱するようにする(請求項2)。

(2) 前記ハウジングの底部周域に循環送水管路の温水排出管に通じる排水溝部を形成し、温水噴射ノズルから放出した温水をこの排水溝部に集めて温水タンクに戻すようにする(請求項3)。

(6) 一方、飲料容器を加熱室に搬入するための搬送手段は、飲料容器を直立姿勢に載置保持する回転式テーブルと、該テーブルの支持機構と、飲料容器の搬入位置で加熱室の出入り口を閉塞する蓋板と、これら部材を搭載した昇降機構とで構成する(請求項7)ものとし、ここで前記の支持機構は、テーブルの回転軸を鉛直姿勢に案内支持する軸受,ガイド,およびテーブルを上方に付勢して加熱室のグリッパとの間で飲料容器を保持させるようにする調整ばねを備えた構成とする(請求項8)。また、この場合に、前記調整ばねとしてばね定数の異なる複数のばねを直列に組み合わせることにより、高さが異なる各サイズの飲料容器にも対応させることができる(請求項9)。

(7) さらに、前記の循環送水管路には浄水器を備えて加熱室に供給する温水を浄水器に通して除塵,殺菌処理し、食品衛生の面から飲料容器に吹きつける温水の水質維持を図るようにする(請求項10)。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図示の実施例に基づいて説明する。

先ず、図1に自動販売機に搭載した容器入り飲料の加熱装置の全体構成を示す。図において、1は自動販売機の本体キャビネット、1aはその前面扉、2は機内に搭載装備した容器入り飲料の加熱装置であり、図示してないがキャビネット1の庫内には商品収納ラックを装備し、ここに缶,びん,ペットボトルなどの容器入り飲料商品(以下、単に「商品」と呼称する)が常温状態で保存されている。そして、商品販売時にホット商品を選択すると、その販売指令に基づき商品収納ラックから払出した商品を後記のように加熱装置の搬送機構に受渡して加熱室に搬入し、ここで飲料容器の周面に高温水を吹きつけて中身飲料がホット飲料としての適温(55℃程度)になるよう加熱した後、商品を加熱室から取出して商品取出口に送出する。

一方、前記の加熱装置2は、本発明に基づく縦型の加熱室3と、該加熱室3に下方から商品を送り込む昇降式の商品搬送機構4と、ヒータ5aを内蔵した温水タンク5と、送水ポンプ6と、温水タンク5から送水ポンプ6,加熱室3を経由して温水タンクに戻る温水の循環送水管路7と、加熱室3か引出して温水タンク5との間の配管した排水側管路7aに介装した浄水器8から構成されている。なお、図中で9は商品(缶入り飲料)、10は加熱装置の制御装置、11は温水タンク5に蓄えた温水(温度95℃程度に加熱されている)である。

次に、前記の加熱装置2の主要部である加熱室3と搬送機構4の詳細構造,動作を図2(a) 〜(c) で説明する。まず、加熱室3は下面に商品9の出入口12aが開口した下面開放形のハウジング12と、該ハウジング12の室内上部に配置して前記出入口12aより搬入した商品9の頂部を把持する回転式グリッパ13と、該グリッパ13に回転軸14aを介して連結した駆動モータ14と、グリッパ13を取り囲むようにハウジング12の室内周域に分散配置した温水噴射ノズル15を備えた構成になる。また、ハウジング12の底部周域には、前記出入口12の開口面よりも一段低い排水溝部12cを形成し、噴射ノズル15から放出した温水をこの排水溝部12cに集め、循環送水管路の温水排出管7aを通じて温水タンク5に戻すようにしている。

ここで、前記のグリッパ13は、例えばゴムなどの弾性材質で作られた碗状のキャップ体で、加熱室3の下方から直立姿勢でハウジング12に搬入された商品9の頂部を把持し、駆動モータ14より商品9を回転させる。また、温水噴射ノズル15は縦長な管に室内中央に向けて複数の噴射ノズル穴を開口したもので、その上端がハウジング13の天井板を貫通し、分岐管15aを介して循環送水管路の温水供給管7bに連通接続されている。

一方、商品の搬送機構4は、商品9を直立姿勢に載置保持する回転式テーブル16と、該テーブル16の支持機構17と、商品9を加熱室3に搬入した位置でハウジング12の出入口12aを閉塞する蓋板18と、これら部材をアーム19aに搭載した昇降機構19からなり、前記支持機構17にはテーブル16の回転支軸16aを鉛直姿勢に案内支持するガイド軸受20,軸シール21,およびテーブル16を上方に押圧付勢する調整ばね22を備えた構成になる。

上記の構成で、搬送機構4は図1で表すように常時は下降位置に待機しており、商品販売時に商品収納ラックから払出した商品9を前記テーブル16の上に移載して直立姿勢に載置保持し、続いて昇降機構19が上方に移動して商品9を加熱室3のハウジング12に搬入する。そして、加熱室5に商品9が搬入されると、前記調整ばね22のばね付勢によりテーブル16に載置した商品9の頂部を室内に装備したグリッパ13に押付けて把持する。同時に、搬送機構4の蓋板18がハウジング12の出入口12aを閉塞する。続いて、制御装置10(図1参照)からの指令により、前記の駆動モータ14が始動してグリッパ13とテーブル16との間に挟んで直立姿勢に保持した商品9を回転して中身飲料を攪拌させるとともに、同時に送水ポンプ6が始動して温水タンク5から循環送水管路7を経て加熱室3の温水噴射ノズル15に温水11を供給し、噴射ノズル15から噴出した温水を商品9の容器周面に吹きつけて中身飲料を加熱する。また、加熱室3のハウジング12内に放出された温水は底部の排水溝部12cに集められ、ここから排水管7aを通じて温水タンク5に還流する。

なお、商品加熱中における中身飲料の攪拌効果を高めるために、前記の駆動モータ14の回転方向を正転,逆転を交互に繰り返すように制御するのがよい。

また、加熱室3と温水タンク5との間に介装した浄水器8は、フィルタおよびイオン交換樹脂などを内蔵し、温水タンク5に還流する温水を浄化して食品衛生面から飲料容器に吹きつける温水の水質維持を図るようにしている。

そして、所定の加熱時間が経過すると、グリッパ13の駆動モータ14および送水ポンプ6が停止し、続いて昇降機構19が下降して加熱済みの商品9をテーブル16に載せたまま加熱室3から引出す。そして、昇降機構19が待機位置まで下降すると、プッシャ機構などによりテーブル16に載っている商品を自動販売機の商品取出口に送出する。

次に、加熱室3に配備したグリッパ13について、いくつかの応用実施例を説明する。まず、図3(a),(b) は本発明の請求項5に対応するグリッパの実施例を示すもので、先記のように弾性材質で作られた碗状のキャップ体13aが中空空間13a−1を挟んだ内外二重構造になり、その頂部に結合したヘッダー13bに穿孔した圧力通路13b−1,13b−2を通じてキャップ体13aの中空空間13a−1および内側空間が圧力制御装置に連通されている。

図4(a),(b) は本発明の請求項6に対応する別なタイプのグリッパを示すものである。この実施例では、グリッパ13が、上端を揺動支点として井桁形ヘッダー13cの周囲に分散して配置した4本のフィンガー13dと、フィンガー13dを一括して開閉操作するプッシャ式のアクチュエータ13eから構成されている。ここで、フィンガー13dは、上端側が連結ピン13d−1を介してヘッダー13cへ揺動自在に連結されている。また、アクチュエータ13eは、ヘッダー13cを上下に貫通した操作ピン13e−1と、該操作ピン13e−1の軸上に貫挿して各フィンガー13dの上端に対峙させた操作板13e−2と、該操作板13e−2と操作ピン13e−1の先端頭部との間に介装した駆動ばね(圧縮コイルばね)13e−3との組立体からなる。

ところで、飲料商品,例えば缶商品は中身飲料の容量によって缶の長さサイズ,重量が様々であり、ロング缶(500ml缶)とショート缶(190ml缶)とでは飲料容器のサイズが大きく異なる。このために、使用する調整ばねが1個のみでは、そのコイルばねの伸縮ストロークにも限りがあってロング缶とショート缶の双方に対応させることが実際には困難である。そこで、この実施例では調整ばね22のほかに、ばね定数の異なる第2の調整ばね23を直列に組み合わせて2段の調整ばねでテーブル16を付勢するようにしており、これによりロング缶およびショート缶のサイズ差を吸収して商品を加熱室のグリッパとの間で直立姿勢に安定保持させることができる。

以上述べたように、本発明によれば、飲料容器の周面に高温水を吹きつけて中身飲料を加熱する方式の容器入り飲料の加熱装置であって、室内に温水噴射手段および飲料容器を定位置に保持して中身飲料を攪拌する手段を備えた加熱室と、該加熱室に飲料容器を送り込む搬送手段と、温水を貯留するヒータ付き温水タンクと、該温水タンクから送水ポンプ,加熱室を経由して温水タンクに戻る温水の循環送水管路とからなり、指令に基づき飲料容器を加熱室に搬入した上で、温水タンクから送水した高温水を飲料容器に噴射して加熱するようにしたものにおいて、前記加熱室を縦向き配置とし、搬送手段により下方から加熱室内に搬入した飲料商品を直立姿勢に保持し、この状態で飲料容器を回転しつつその周面に高温水を吹きつけるようにしたことにより、
飲料容器を横置姿勢に保持してその周面に高温水を吹きつけた従来の加熱方式で発生する内圧の急激変化に伴う飲料容器の変形トラブルを防止することができる。また、中身飲料と容器壁面との間の伝熱面積も増して熱貫流効率も向上し、これにより中身飲料が短時間で効率よく加熱されるようになる。
