前記パッキン本体の中央外周面より内径の若干大きい円筒部と前記パッキン本体の他方のテーパ側面に沿って同じテーパ状をしたテーパ部とからなり環状の一部が欠損した押え金具を有し、
前記締結手段は中央円筒部の両側に対称に前記パッキン本体の両テーパ側面と同じテーパ状を形成したテーパ片部を形成し一端部が他端部上に摺動し得るように重合する締付バンドと、同締付バンドを周方向に締め付ける締付手段とよりなり、
前記管継手本体のテーパ端縁部内周面に前記パッキン本体の一方のテーパ側面を当接し、同パッキン本体の他方のテーパ側面に前記押え金具のテーパ部を当接し、前記管継手本体のテーパ端縁部の外周面および前記押え金具のテーパ部の外周面に両側のテーパ片部を当接し、前記押え金具の円筒部に中央円筒部を当接して前記締付バンドを周設し前記受口に前記管の挿口を挿入して前記締結手段の締付手段による締付バンドの締め付けにより前記管継手本体のテーパ端縁部と縮径する前記押え金具のテーパ部が前記パッキン本体を挟圧して弾性変形により挿入された管の挿口を圧着挟持して締結することを特徴とする管継手構造。
