成形される基材の表側の少なくとも一部をギャザー表皮により覆ってなるギャザー表皮を備えた成形品の製造方法において、
前記基材の裏側を成形する成形面を備えた基材側成形型と前記ギャザー表皮の表側を成形する成形面を備えた表皮側成形型が互いに離隔された状態において、前記両成形面の間に前記ギャザー表皮となる表皮材をたるんだ状態で保持する表皮材保持工程と、
前記表皮材のたるみを保持させた状態で前記両成形面の間の距離が前記成形品の厚さになる位置まで前記両成形型を接近させる型閉め工程と、
前記基材側成形型の成形面と前記表皮材の間に前記基材となる加熱溶融された熱可塑性材料を充填する充填工程と、
充填された前記熱可塑性材料を冷却硬化させる冷却硬化工程
よりなることを特徴とするギャザー表皮を備えた成形品の製造方法。
