Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an electronic device including an operation input unit, and more particularly to an electronic device in which an operation input unit is provided with a countermeasure against static electricity.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, static electricity generated in a human body or clothing worn by a person is discharged to an electronic device such as a mobile phone terminal, so that an electric circuit inside the electronic device malfunctions or an electronic component is destroyed. There was a problem.
[0003]
On the other hand, an electronic device such as a mobile phone terminal is generally used as a casing using a painted case, so that static electricity discharged to the electronic device does not flow into the electronic device. However, since the operation input unit of the electronic device has a structure in which a part of a case that is a casing of the electronic device is cut out, static electricity flows through the cutout shape into the electronic device. Therefore, many static electricity problems have occurred in the operation input unit.
[0004]
Here, in the operation input unit, a key top that is a part of the operation input member protrudes from a shape in which the case is cut out. The operation input member generally has a structure in which a key top formed of plastic or the like and an insulating rubber that supports the key top are assembled.
[0005]
Conventionally, this insulating rubber is produced by co-molding with a conductive rubber, and an operation input member in which a key top and an insulating / conductive rubber are assembled is used as an operation input section. By taking a structure in which the conductive rubber part is in contact with the grounding part of the circuit board, the static electricity generated in the operation input part is passed through the conductive rubber part to the grounding part, and the above-mentioned problems due to static electricity are taken. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
This conventional electronic device has a structure in which the static electricity discharged to the operation input portion flows to the ground portion through the conductive rubber portion as described above. Since it is a highly conductive rubber, there has been a problem that a sufficient effect cannot be obtained as a countermeasure against the above-mentioned problems.
[0008]
Further, it is conceivable to take measures against the above-mentioned problem of ground contact by providing a plurality of contact portions between the conductive rubber and the ground portion. However, in simultaneous molding of insulating rubber and conductive rubber, it is technically difficult to produce a plurality of conductive rubbers in the insulating rubber, and the degree of freedom is extremely low. There was a problem that the place where the earth contact was also greatly restricted.
[0009]
Accordingly, the present invention provides an electronic device that can eliminate the influence of static electricity on an electronic circuit mounted on a circuit board by including an operation input unit in which a conductive material such as conductive ink is added to insulating rubber. The purpose is to do.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, an electronic device according to the present invention covers a circuit board on which an electronic component is mounted and a ground portion is provided on a surface, a base made of an elastic body, and at least one surface of the base. Are provided with a button, and a part of the button is provided with a conductive plate in contact with the ground portion of the circuit board.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
(First embodiment)
Embodiments of an electronic device according to the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a mobile phone terminal to which the present invention is applied. FIG. 1A shows an appearance of the mobile phone terminal, and FIG. 1B shows a state in which an operation input member is arranged on a circuit board. Appearance is shown. FIG. 2 shows a cross section of an operation input unit of a mobile phone terminal to which the present invention is applied.
[0012]
In this embodiment, a case where the present invention is applied to a mobile phone terminal as shown in FIG. 1A will be described as an example. In the mobile phone terminal shown in FIG. 1A, an outer case is formed by an upper case 1 and a lower case 2, and components such as a circuit board are mounted in the outer case. An operation input portion A is formed by notching the lower button installation portion of the upper case 1 and projecting the button 31 from the notch. The user depresses the button 31 to perform operations such as a call on the mobile phone terminal or an outgoing / incoming e-mail.
[0013]
The operation input unit A has an internal configuration in which an operation input member 3 having a button 31, a pedestal 32, and a conductive plate 33 is disposed on a circuit board 4 as shown in FIG. In the operation input member 3, a conductive plate 33 is attached on a pedestal 32, and a button 31 is provided at a button installation portion on the conductive plate 33. The circuit board 4 is provided with a ground portion 41 at a necessary position, and the ground portion 41 and the conductive plate 33 are connected.
[0014]
Next, the internal configuration of the operation input unit A will be described using the cross-sectional view of FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the operation input unit A. The operation input unit A includes the upper case 1, the operation input member 3 including the button 31, the base 32, and the conductive material 33, the circuit board 4, the ground unit 41, and the switch. 42, LED5, etc. Note that the electronic components constituting the electronic circuit of the mobile phone terminal mounted on the circuit board 4 are omitted.
[0015]
The operation input member 3 is formed by attaching a conductive plate 33 to the surface of a pedestal 32 formed of insulating rubber, and then attaching a button 31 formed of plastic or the like to a button installation portion on the conductive plate 33 as an adhesive. It is produced by fixing by, for example.
[0016]
The circuit board 4 is provided with an earth portion 41 at the end thereof, a switch 42 on the lower surface corresponding to the button 31, and an LED 5 or the like adjacent to the switch 42. When the user depresses the button 31, the pedestal 32, which is an elastic body, bends, and an input to the switch 42 is performed. Normally, when the switch 42 is input, the corresponding LED 5 is lit.
[0017]
When the operation input member 3 is disposed on the circuit board 4, the end surface of the base 32 is connected to the ground portion 41 at a predetermined location, and the conductive plate 33 is located at a location where the base 32 is in contact with the ground portion 41. In contact with the ground part 41.
[0018]
Even if static electricity is discharged to the operation input part A having the above configuration, the static electricity is discharged to the ground part 41 of the circuit board 4 through the conductive plate 33 attached on the base 32 of the operation input member 3. The
[0019]
According to the present embodiment, the static electricity discharged to the operation input portion A can be further discharged from the conductive plate 33 through the ground portion 41 of the circuit board 4, so that the static electricity is mounted on the circuit board 4 of the electronic device. The effect of not affecting the electronic circuit to be performed can be obtained.
[0020]
FIG. 3 shows a cross section of an operation input unit A which is a first modification of the first embodiment. In the first modification, the button 31 of the operation input member 3 is manufactured by fixing the button 31 on the pedestal 32 with an adhesive or the like, and attaching a conductive plate 33 to the surface of the pedestal 32 excluding the button 31.
[0021]
FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of an operation input unit A which is a first modification of the first embodiment, and shows an example of an effect produced in a mobile phone terminal to which the present invention is applied. As described above, normally, when the switch 42 is input, the corresponding LED 5 is turned on to illuminate the key top 31 from the inside of the electronic device. Here, when the operation input member 3 to which the conductive plate 33 is not attached is used, the direct light 61 irradiated by the LED 5 is generally transmitted without being reflected by the operation input member 3 and the upper case 1. . Therefore, the key top 31 is illuminated only by the direct light 61 emitted from the LED 5. However, when the conductive plate 33 made of a material having a light-shielding effect such as carbon or silver is used as in the embodiment, a part of the direct light 61 emitted from the LED 5 as shown in FIG. Directly illuminates the key top 31 as the direct light 61, and the remaining part of the direct light 61 is reflected by the conductive plate 33 to illuminate the key top 31 as reflected light 62.
[0022]
Therefore, according to this embodiment, since the key top 31 is illuminated by both the direct light 61 and the reflected light 62 from the LED 5, the effect of illuminating the key top 31 more brightly from the inside of the electronic device is also achieved. Can be obtained at the same time.
[0023]
FIG. 5 shows a cross section of an operation input unit A which is a second modification of the first embodiment. In the second modification, the conductive plate 33 is attached so as to cover the entire surface of the base 32 including the button 31.
[0024]
Even in the first and second modifications described above, even if static electricity is generated in the operation input portion A, the static electricity is generated from the conductive plate 33 attached on the pedestal 32 or the entire surface of the operation input member 3 from the circuit board 4. Since it is discharged through the earthing part 41, it is possible to obtain an effect of eliminating the influence of static electricity on the electronic circuit mounted on the circuit board 4 of the electronic device.
[0025]
(Second Embodiment)
FIG. 6 shows a cross section of the operation input unit according to the second embodiment of the cellular phone terminal to which the present invention is applied. In the second embodiment, the button 31 is manufactured by drawing a plastic part 31a such as PET, and the plastic part 31a having the button 31 is fixed on the base 32 with an adhesive or the like. The input member 3 is produced. In this case, the end surface of the plastic part 31a on which the button 31 is formed is in contact with the ground part 41 at a predetermined location, and the conductive plate 33 is attached to the surface of the button 31. The end surface is connected to the end surface of the plastic part 31a. Similarly, it is configured to be in contact with the ground portion 41.
[0026]
FIG. 7 shows a cross section of an operation input unit A, which is a modification of the second embodiment. In this modification, the operation input member 3 is manufactured by attaching the conductive plate 33 so as to cover the entire surface of the plastic portion 31a on which the button 31 is formed.
[0027]
Even in the above-described second embodiment, even if static electricity is generated in the operation input portion A, the static electricity is a conductive plate attached on or over the plastic portion 31a on which the button 31 of the operation input member 3 is formed. 33 is discharged through the grounding part 41 of the circuit board 4, so that an effect of eliminating the influence of static electricity on the electronic circuit mounted on the circuit board 4 of the electronic device can be obtained.
[0028]
In the second embodiment, the plastic part 31a on which the button 31 is formed and the pedestal 32 are separate members. However, the plastic part 31a on which the button 31 is formed and the pedestal 32 are molded integrally. Also good. For example, the button 31 and the pedestal 32 can be integrally formed of rubber.
[0029]
Here, as a material of the conductive plate 33, a conductive ink or a conductive paint, for example, a material containing carbon or silver is used. Besides this, it may be formed by applying conductive plating.
[0030]
The conductive plate 33 such as conductive ink, conductive paint, and conductive plating is attached to the button 31 or the pedestal 32 by printing or painting.
Further, in the embodiment, the description has been given by taking the mobile phone terminal as an example, but the present invention is not limited to this, and can be applied to, for example, a PDA, an electronic notebook, an electronic dictionary, a wired telephone terminal, and the like.
[0031]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the electronic apparatus of the present invention, the static electricity discharged to the operation input unit can be further discharged from the conductive plate through the ground part of the circuit board. The effect of static electricity on the electronic circuit can be eliminated.
