<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which is provided with speakers having a relatively simple structure and excellent sound quality without muffled sound in low sound. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine 10 is provided with the speakers 51 having a voice generating part on the front side. It is so constituted that a frame member 11 is made to function as a speaker installation part and an opening part 52 is formed to the speaker installation part. The speaker 51 is installed so that the voice generating part faces the opening part 52. Other members, which can be a sound shielding body or a sound reflecting body, are not installed at all in a rear space 56 of the speaker 51 in the game machine 10. Accordingly, the rear space 56 of the speaker 51 is open. By this, air in the rear space 56 is not sealed. Therefore, the movement of a diaphragm 55 can not be suppressed by the effects of a stiffness amount of the air. 【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は遊技機及び遊技機システムに係り、特には音声による遊技演出を行うとき等に使用されるスピーカの設置場所や構造などに特徴を有する遊技機及び遊技機システムに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、遊技機の一種であるパチンコ機においては、遊技者の興趣向上を目的として多種多様な遊技演出がなされてきた。その中でも、遊技盤の略中央部に図柄表示装置を設置し、その図柄表示装置に複数種類の図柄を変動または停止表示して図柄組み合わせゲームを行うものが現在の主流となりつつある。図柄組み合わせゲームを表示して視覚的な遊技演出を行う場合には、所定の効果音等を発することにより聴覚的な遊技演出も併せて行われる。それゆえ、殆どのパチンコ機には音声発生手段であるスピーカが設けられている。

ところで、近年のパチンコ機では、音声を用いた聴覚的な遊技演出の内容が高度化、多様化及び複雑化する傾向にあり、それに付随してスピーカの発する音声についても高音質化等が求められるようになってきている。それゆえ、例えば、パチンコ機の後方にスピーカボックスを設置し、そのスピーカボックスにスピーカを取り付けることにより、スピーカの音質向上を図らんとしたものが従来提案されている（例えば、特許文献１参照）。特許文献１に記載のスピーカユニットにおけるスピーカボックス（エンクロージャ）は密閉された空洞状である。そのため、特許文献１に記載のものは密閉型スピーカユニットと称されている。この種のユニットの場合、スピーカの背面から発生される負の音声が前側に回りこみにくくなる。その結果、スピーカの前面から発生される正の音声と負の音声との干渉が防止され、このことが音質の向上に寄与すると考えられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、特許文献１に記載の密閉型スピーカユニットにあっては、背面側の空気が密閉されていることから、空気のスティフネス分の影響により振動板であるコーンの動きが抑えられる結果、低音の再生帯域が制限されるという欠点があった。ゆえに、低音がこもりやすく、高音質化を十分に達成することができなかった。

また、特許文献１に記載のスピーカユニットの場合、パチンコ機前面に設けた開口部とスピーカボックスとを連通させるために、ダクト等のような余分な管状部材が必要となる。よって、スピーカユニットの部品点数が多くなり、構造も複雑になりやすいという欠点があった。しかも、最近のパチンコ機の機裏側には、多様かつ複雑な遊技演出を行うために各種の制御基板類が既に設置されていて、それらが多くのスペースを占有している。従って、機裏側にて大きなスピーカボックスやダクトを設置するためのスペースを確保することは極めて困難な状況にある。

本発明は上記の課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的は、比較的簡単な構造であって、かつ低音にこもりがなく音質に優れたスピーカを備えた遊技機及び遊技機システムを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、請求項１に記載の発明では、前側に音声発生部を有するスピーカを備えた遊技機において、遊技機の枠部材をスピーカ設置部とし、そのスピーカ設置部に開口部を形成し、その開口部に前記音声発生部を臨ませるようにして前記スピーカを設置し、前記スピーカの後側空間を開放したことを特徴とする遊技機をその要旨とする。また、請求項２に記載の発明では、前側に音声発生部を有するスピーカを備えた遊技機において、遊技機の枠部材をスピーカ設置部とし、そのスピーカ設置部に開口部を形成し、その開口部に前記音声発生部を臨ませるようにして前記スピーカを設置することにより、前記スピーカの前側と後側とを遮断し、さらに、前記スピーカの後側空間に音遮蔽体または音反射体となりうる他部材を配置しないことにより、前記スピーカの後側空間を開放したことを特徴とする遊技機をその要旨とする。

従って、請求項１，２に記載の発明によると、スピーカの後側空間を開放したことにより、当該空間にある空気が密閉されなくなる。このため、密閉型スピーカユニットとは異なり、空気のスティフネス分の影響により振動板の動きが抑えられるようなことがない。よって、低音の再生帯域が制限されず、低音がこもりにくくなる。また、スピーカ設置部である枠部材に形成された開口部に音声発生部を臨ませるようにしてスピーカを設置したので、正の音声を発生するスピーカ前側と、負の音声を発生するスピーカ後側とを枠部材等によって遮断することができる。このため、バッフル効果を得ることが可能となり、スピーカ後側から発生される負の音声がスピーカ前側に回り込んで正の音声と干渉する、といったことも防止され、高音質化を図ることができる。しかも、スピーカボックスやダクト等を必要としないため、比較的簡単な構造とすることができる。

上記のように、スピーカの後側空間を開放するためには、スピーカの後側空間に、音遮蔽体となりうる他部材も、音反射体となりうる他部材も配置しないことが好ましい。その理由は、上記の他部材が存在していると、スピーカが発した音が遮蔽または反射されることにより、低音の再生帯域が制限され、低音がこもりやすくなるからである。一般的な遊技機においては、例えば、制御基板や制御基板を収容している基板ケース等は、一般的に遊技機のスピーカよりも大きな部品であるため、音遮蔽体や音反射体となりうる。従って、このような部品についてはスピーカの後側空間に配置しないほうが好ましい。ただし、制御基板や基板ケース等に比べて明らかに小さい部品（ビスや金具等）については、音を遮蔽したり反射したりする作用は殆どないと考えられるので、ここで言う「音遮蔽体または音反射体となりうる他部材」には該当しないものとする。

ここで、スピーカ設置部となりうる「遊技機の枠部材」としては、例えば、外枠や中枠（前枠）等を指し、より具体的には、外枠や中枠（前枠）等において遊技者側と遊技機側とを仕切る（即ち遊技機の内外を仕切る）壁状または板状の部分等を指す。この場合、制御基板や基板ケースが近くに存在していると音質が低下しやすくなることから、それらの部材が近くに存在しないような位置を、スピーカ設置部として選ぶことが好適である。

請求項１または２において、前記スピーカ設置部は、遊技機の枠部材において球受け皿設置部よりも下方の位置であることが好ましく、特には外枠における腰板（幕板）の位置であることがより好ましい。

遊技機の枠部材において球受け皿設置部よりも上方の位置には、遊技盤が位置しており、その遊技盤の近傍には制御基板などの部品が数多く密集した状態で設置されている。一方、球受け皿設置部の下方位置は、遊技盤から相当離間しており、その近傍にはそれほど多くの部品が配置されていない。よって、上記のように当該位置をスピーカ設置部とすれば、スピーカの前側と背側とを確実に遮断することができ、十分なバッフル効果を得ることができる。このため、確実に音質を向上させることができる。また、当該位置にはスペース的な余裕があるため、例えば大型のスピーカを設置することができる。このことも音質の向上を図るうえで確実にプラスに作用する。また、遊技機を遊技島に設置した状態において球受け皿設置部の下方位置は、遊技機の内外を仕切る壁となりうる。よって、このことも音質の向上を図るうえで確実にプラスに作用する。

請求項３に記載の発明は、請求項１または２において、前記スピーカの防磁部は、弾性を有する保護カバーによって覆われていることをその要旨とする。

上記のごとくスピーカの後側空間を開放した構成の場合、遊技球がスピーカにぶつかって衝撃を与え、スピーカをショートさせたり傷付けたりする可能性がある。特に、スピーカ設置部が球受け皿設置部よりも下方の位置にある場合、スピーカ設置部が球受け皿設置部よりも上方の位置にある場合に比べて、遊技球がぶつかる確率は高くなる。また、枠部材を遊技島に取り付ける際には釘打ちを行うが、そのときに金槌がスピーカの背面側を誤って叩くことがあり、やはりスピーカをショートさせたり傷付けたりする可能性がある。

そこで請求項３に記載の発明のように、弾性を有する保護カバーによってスピーカの防磁部を覆っておけば、硬質の材料からなる遊技球や金槌がスピーカの防磁部を直撃したとしても、その際の衝撃が緩和される。そのため、スピーカの傷付きを防止することができる。また、弾性に加えて絶縁性を有する保護カバーによってスピーカの防磁部を覆っておけば、鉄などの導電性材料からなる遊技球や金槌がスピーカの防磁部に接触したとしても、その際に遊技球や金槌を介して電気が流れてしまうこともない。そのため、スピーカのショートを防止することができる。なお、「弾性を有する保護カバー」としてはゴム製の保護カバーが最適である。ゴムは好適な弾性及び絶縁性を有するからである。「スピーカの防磁部」とは、振動板を振動させる磁石等の変換器を覆う金属製のカバー部材のことを指す。

請求項４に記載の発明は、請求項３において、前記保護カバーは、前記防磁部の近傍に配置された外部接続用構造部も覆うように構成されていることをその要旨とする。

従って、請求項４に記載の発明によると、外部接続用構造部はとりわけ衝撃に弱いことから、防磁部とともにこの部分も覆って保護することにより、スピーカのショートや傷付きを効果的に防止することができる。なお、外部接続用構造部とは、スピーカ制御手段からの制御信号や電源をスピーカに入力するためのコネクタ等をいう。

請求項５に記載の発明は、請求項３または４において、前記保護カバーは、前記防磁部の表面に付された表示を視認可能とする窓部を備えていることをその要旨とする。

従って、請求項５に記載の発明によると、保護カバーを取り付けたままの状態であっても、窓部を介して表示を確認することができる。よって、確認のためにいちいち保護カバーを着脱する必要がないほか、保護カバーの外表面にあらたに表示を付す必要もない。なお「表示」とは、識別表示、能力表示等の表示を指す。通常、かかる表示は防磁部の表面に施されている。

請求項６に記載の発明は、請求項１乃至５のいずれか１項において、前記スピーカは振動板とその振動板を保護するフレームとを備え、前記フレームにフレーム内外を連通させる透孔を貫通形成し、かつ前記透孔の開口幅を遊技球の直径よりも小さくなるように設定したことをその要旨とする。

従って、請求項６に記載の発明によると、フレーム内外を連通させる透孔がフレームに貫通形成されているので、振動板の振動をフレーム外の大気に効率よく伝達することができる。よって、低音にこもりのない高い音質を得ることができる。また、かかる透孔が存在していたとしても、透孔の開口幅は遊技球の直径よりも小さいので、遊技球が透孔を介してフレーム内に侵入することはない。よって、遊技球の侵入による振動板の破損、音質の低下、その他のトラブルを未然に防止することができる。

請求項７に記載の発明は、請求項１乃至６のいずれか１項に記載の遊技機を、遊技島に複数台横並びにして取り付けた構造の遊技機システムをその要旨とする。

従って、請求項７に記載の発明によると、いわば複数台の遊技機及び遊技島の側壁自体が、非常に広大な面積を有するバッフル（いわゆる無限大バッフル）として機能しうる。スピーカの後側から発生される負の音声が前側に回りこみ、スピーカの前側から発生される正の音声と干渉する、といったことが確実に防止され、低音にこもりのない非常に高い音質を得ることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を具体化したパチンコ機１０及びパチンコ機システムＳ１の一実施形態を図１〜図７に基づき説明する。図１は実施形態のパチンコ機１０の機表側を示す正面図、図２は機裏側を示す背面図である。図３はパチンコ機１０におけるスピーカ設置部を示す部分斜視図である。図４はパチンコ機１０にて使用されるスピーカ５１の背面図、図５はスピーカ５１の側面図である。図６はスピーカ設置部の概略断面図である。図７はパチンコ機１０を遊技島１に複数台設置してなるパチンコ機システムＳ１を示す概略正面図である。

まず、図１等に基づいてパチンコ機１０の機表側の構成について述べる。図１、図３等に示されるように、このパチンコ機１０は機体の外郭をなす縦長方形状の外枠１１（枠部材）を備えている。この外枠１１は、外枠１１における上辺、右辺及び左辺を構成する外枠本体１１Ａと、外枠１１における下辺を構成する合成樹脂製の腰板ユニット１１Ｂとによって構成されている。外枠１１の開口前面側には、各種の遊技用構成部材をセットするための縦長方形状の中枠１２（枠部材）が、開閉及び着脱自在に組み付けられている。また、中枠１２の前面側には、機内部に配置された遊技盤１３を透視保護するためのガラス枠を備えた前枠１４（枠部材）と、上球皿１５とが、ともに横開き状態で開閉可能に組み付けられている。中枠１２の前面側において上球皿１５の下方には、下球皿１６及び発射装置１７などが装着されている。また、遊技盤１３のほぼ中央部には図柄表示装置１８が配置されている。

次に、パチンコ機１０の機裏側の構成について述べる。図２に示されるように、中枠１２の裏面側には、裏部品を組み付けるための機構セット盤２３が配設されている。この機構セット盤２３の裏面側における上部左側の箇所には、遊技球Ｂ１を貯溜するための球タンク２４が設けられている。この球タンク２４の下方には、そこから流れ出る遊技球Ｂ１を整列状態で流下させるためのタンクレール２５が設けられている。斜め右下方向に延びる前記タンクレール２５の下端（右端）には、球供給路２６が設けられている。この球供給路２６の下端部には、球払出装置２７が接続されている。また、球タンク２４の右側のスペースには、図示しないホールコンピュータとパチンコ機１０とを接続するための枠用外部端子板２８が配設されている。枠用外部端子板２８は、賞球情報、球貸し情報及び球切れ情報をホールコンピュータに対して送信するようになっている。

また、図２に示されるように、本実施形態のパチンコ機１０は、機構セット盤２３の裏面側に、各種の制御基板（主制御基板３１Ａ、音声制御基板３１Ｂ、ランプ制御基板３１Ｃ、図柄制御基板３１Ｄ、払出制御基板３１Ｅ、発射制御基板３１Ｆなど）を収容した基板ケース３１を複数備えている。例えば、機構セット盤２３の中央部上寄りの位置（具体的には遊技盤１３に取り付けられた図柄表示装置１８のほぼ裏側の位置）には、図柄制御基板３１Ｄを内部に収容する基板ケース３１が配置されている。また、図柄制御基板３１Ｄを収容する基板ケース３１の左下側位置には、ランプ制御基板３１Ｃを内部に収容する基板ケース３１が配置されている。図２に示されるように、これら基板ケース３１は、１０ｃｍ角以上の外形寸法を有する比較的大きな部品であるとともに、いずれも腰板ユニット１１Ｂの上方に配置されている。

図２、図３等に示されるように、外枠１１の下部を構成する本実施形態の腰板ユニット１１Ｂは、球受け皿設置部よりも下方の位置にあり、ユニット上壁４１、ユニット下壁４２、一対のユニット側壁４３，４４及びユニット前壁４５とからなる。スピーカ設置部であるユニット前壁４５は、遊技者側とパチンコ機１０側とを仕切る（即ちパチンコ機１０の内外を仕切る）平壁状の部分である。

図３に示されるように、ユニット下壁４２における２箇所には、遊技島１に対して外枠１１を取り付ける際に釘を打ち付けるためのスリット４６が形成されている。また、ユニット下壁４２の上面及びユニット前壁４５の背面には、腰板ユニット１１Ｂを補強するための略Ｌ字状の補強リブ４７が一体形成されている。機裏側から見て向かって左側に位置するユニット側壁４３の内面、及び、機裏側から見て向かって右側に位置するユニット側壁４４の内面には、それぞれ腰板ユニット１１Ｂを補強するための略コ字状の補強金具４８が取り付けられている。

図１、図３、図６に示されるように、腰板ユニット１１Ｂの前面側には、ユニット前壁４５の前面側を全体的に覆うカバー部材である合成樹脂製の腰板カバー８１が装着されている。腰板カバー８１の前面には装飾が施されている。具体的には、腰板カバー８１の前壁８２における左右両側部には、略楕円形状の模様が装飾として施されている。そして、このような略楕円形状の模様がある箇所には、腰板カバー８１の内外を連通させる多数のカバー部材側透孔８３が形成されている。

また、図６に示されるように、ユニット前壁４５には、ユニット前壁４５の前面及び背面を連通させる長円形状の開口部５２が左右一対で形成されている。各々の開口部５２に対しては、複数の外枠側透孔５４を有する振動体保護部材５３が、ユニット前壁４５の背面側から嵌着して固定されている。そして、ユニット前壁４５の背面側において前記一対の開口部５２に対応する位置には、遊技の状態に応じて各種音声（効果音など）を出力するスピーカ５１がそれぞれ配設されている。前記スピーカ５１は横長円形の開口形状を有しており（図５等参照）、その前側には振動板（音声発生部）としてのコーン紙５５が設けられている。これらのスピーカ５１は、コーン紙５５がある音声発生部を開口部５２に臨ませるようにして設置されるとともに、四隅がユニット前壁４５に対してねじ止め固定されている。よって、これらスピーカ５１の前側と後側とは、ユニット前壁４５によって遮断された状態となっている（図６参照）。また、図２，図３，図６に示されるように、スピーカ５１の後側空間５６には、音遮蔽体または音反射体となりうる他部材（例えば基板ケース３１等）が全く配置されていない。このため、スピーカ５１の後側空間５６は完全に開放した状態となっている。

ここで図４、図５に基づきスピーカ５１の構成について述べる。本実施形態のスピーカ５１はかさ状をした金属製のフレーム６１を備えている。コーン紙５５は、そのフレーム６１の開口部に配置されるとともに、フレーム６１によって保護されている。フレーム６１の背面中央部には金属製の防磁カバー６２（防磁部）が取り付けられている。その防磁カバー６２の内側には、電気信号を振動に変換してコーン紙５５を振動させるための電磁コイル（図示略）が収容されている。防磁カバー６２の頭頂部表面の略中央部には、識別表示、能力表示等の表示６３が付されている（図４参照）。本実施形態では、表示６３が防磁カバー６２の外表面に対してインクを用いて直接印字されている。表示６３は防磁カバー６２の外表面に対して刻印されていてもよい。また、表示６３を付したシールが防磁カバー６２の外表面に対して貼付けられていてもよい。

図４、図５に示されるように、フレーム６１の背面側において防磁カバー６２の近傍には、外部接続用構造部６４が配設されている。この外部接続用構造部６４は、スピーカ制御手段である音声制御基板からの制御信号や電源をスピーカ５１（具体的には前記電磁コイル）に入力するためのコネクタ６５をプリント基板６６上に搭載した構造となっている。そして、防磁カバー６２には弾性及び絶縁性を有する保護カバー７１が嵌着され、これにより防磁カバー６２が全体的に覆われている。本実施形態の保護カバー７１は、弾性体の一種であるゴム（例えばＮＢＲなど）を材料として略カップ状に形成されている。保護カバー７１の開口部近傍の位置には外部接続用構造部６４を覆うための保護部７３が突設されており、この保護部７３によってプリント基板６６の一部が覆われている。保護カバー７１の上面中央部において防磁カバー６２の表示６３に対応した箇所には、円形状の窓部７２が貫通形成されている。このため、保護カバー７１の装着時であっても、窓部７２を介して表示６３が視認できるようになっている（図４等参照）。

フレーム６１にはフレーム６１内外を連通させる複数の透孔６７が貫通形成されている。複数の透孔６７のうち、防磁カバー６２を挟んで外部接続用構造部６４の反対側に位置するもの３つは、いずれも細長い形状を呈している。これら３つの透孔６７の開口幅Ｗの寸法は、遊技球Ｂ１の通過を許容しないように、遊技球Ｂ１の直径よりも小さくなるように（本実施形態では８ｍｍ〜１０ｍｍ程度に）設定されている（図４参照）。

図７に示されるように、上記のようなパチンコ機１０は、遊技島１の側壁２に複数台横並びにして取り付けられる。そして、このようにすることにより、いわば複数台のパチンコ機１０及び遊技島１の側壁２自体が、非常に広大な面積を有するバッフル（いわゆる無限大バッフル）として機能しうるパチンコ機システムＳ１が構成されている。

従って、本実施形態によれば以下のような効果を得ることができる。

（１）本実施形態においてスピーカ５１の後側空間５６には、制御基板や基板ケース３１等のような部材、つまり音遮蔽体・音反射体となりうる他部材は、全く配置されていない。その結果、スピーカ５１の後側空間５６が開放された状態となり、当該後側空間５６にある空気が密閉されなくなる。このため、密閉型スピーカユニットとは異なり、空気のスティフネス分の影響によりコーン紙５５の動きが抑えられるようなことがない。よって、低音の再生帯域が制限されず、低音がこもりにくくなる結果、高音質化を図ることができる。

また、本実施形態では、スピーカ設置部であるユニット前壁４５に形成された開口部５２に音声発生部を臨ませるようにしてスピーカ５１を設置している。ゆえに、正の音声を発生するスピーカ前側と、負の音声を発生するスピーカ後側とを、ユニット前壁４５等によって遮断することができる。このため、バッフル効果を得ることが可能となり、スピーカ後側から発生される負の音声がスピーカ前側に回り込んで正の音声と干渉する、といったことも防止され、高音質化を図ることができる。従って、本実施形態のパチンコ機１０によれば、高度、多様かつ複雑な聴覚的遊技演出を実現することができ、かかる聴覚的遊技演出を通じて遊技者の興趣を確実に向上させることができる。

しかも、スピーカボックスやダクト等を必要としないため、比較的簡単な構造とすることができ、ひいては装置全体の低コスト化にも貢献する。

（２）本実施形態では、パチンコ機１０を遊技島１の側壁２に複数台横並びにして取り付けた構造のパチンコ機システムＳ１が構成されている。このため、同じ遊技島１に属する複数台のパチンコ機１０及び当該遊技島１の側壁２自体が、非常に広大な面積を有するバッフル（いわゆる無限大バッフル）として機能しうる。従って、スピーカ５１の後側から発生される負の音声が前側に回りこみ、スピーカ５１の前側から発生される正の音声と干渉する、といったことが確実に防止される。ゆえに、低音にこもりのない非常に高品質な音声を得ることができる。特に本実施形態では、外枠１１において球受け皿設置部よりも下方の位置（即ち腰板ユニット１１Ｂの位置）をスピーカ設置部としているので、例えば外枠１１における上部位置をスピーカ設置部としたような場合に比べて、スピーカ５１の前側と背側とを遮断する効果が高い。また、当該位置にはスペース的な余裕があるため、比較的大型のスピーカ５１を設置することができる。例えば、小型のスピーカの場合には大音量を得るために出力を上げると音が歪んでしまうが、大型のスピーカ５１であれば、歪みを生じることなく大音量・高音質の音を得ることが可能である。
