木材合板製の筐体の場合、一般的には、内部に収納する各種機器類を筐体に取り付けるための固定ねじを筐体に直接螺着している。このため、機器類を取り外した後の筐体に固定ねじをねじ込んだ痕が残ってしまい、再利用するのが難しかった。また、木材合板製の筐体は傷や汚れが付きやすく、これも再利用を困難にしている要因となっている。筐体を再利用しやすくするために、固定ねじを挿通する孔と該固定ねじを螺着するためのナットを筐体に予め設けておくことも考えられるが、それは、機種が異なり各種機器の形状や取り付け位置が違う場合に対応できないという別の問題が生じる。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明は下記の構成とした。すなわち、本発明にかかるスロットマシンの筐体は、内部に各種機器類が収納され、前面側に前扉が取り付けられるスロットマシンの筐体であって、所定形状の枠体とその外面に貼着される外装材とからなり、前記枠体には機器類を固定する固定ねじを挿通するための通孔を多数形成し、機器類に応じて固定ねじを挿通する通孔を選択して機器類の固定を行うようにしたことを特徴としている。この構成であると、表面部に傷や汚れが付いた場合、外装材を交換するだけで新品状態に復元させられる。また、固定する機器類の形状や取付位置に応じて固定ねじを挿通する通孔を選択することにより、異なる機種にも対応できる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面に基づき本発明の代表的な実施の形態について説明する。図1は筐体の分解図であって、この筐体1は、前面側に開口する箱型の枠体2と、該枠体2の上面、左右側面、及び背面に貼着される外装材3,4,5,6とからなっている。枠体2は合成樹脂製で、注型成形等により所定の形状に成形されている。また、各外装材3,4,5,6は板状もしくはシール状の部材であって、素材としては合成樹脂、鉄、アルミ、木材等を用いることができる。

以上に説明したように、本発明にかかるスロットマシンの筐体は、表面部に傷や汚れが付いた場合に外装材を交換して新品と同様に復元させることができ、さらに多数ある通孔の中から適当なものを選択して固定ねじを挿通することにより、固定する機器類の形状や取り付け位置の違いに対応できるので、再利用が可能であるだけでなく、異なる機種への転用も可能であり、生産コストを削減できるようになった。
