Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ash tray capable of simply and surely extinguishing tobacco fire by a fire-extinguishing member and preventing clogging of ash into the fire-extinguishing member. <P>SOLUTION: The ash tray 1 is equipped with a body 2 composed of a frame body 3 and an ash-receiving dish 4, a lid body 5, a hinge structural part 6 rotatably supporting the lid body 5 to the body 5, a cylindrical fire-extinguishing member 7 to which the top of tobacco can be inserted and a spring 8. The fire-extinguishing member 7 has a first member 71 rotating together with the lid body 5 and a second member 72 which is rotatable coaxially to the first member 71. The fire-extinguishing member 7 becomes cylindrical by combining the first member 71 with the second member 72 and enables extinguishment of fire by insertion of top of the tobacco. Although the fire-extinguishing member 7 forms cylindrical shape in a state in which the lid body 5 is open, the second member 72 is rotated to the first member 71 and these members 72 and 71 are divided, as motion closing the lid body 5 is carried out. As a result, ash clogged in the fire-extinguishing member 7 is made to collapse and discharged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an ashtray, for example, an ashtray that is used in an automobile.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, ashtrays are installed and used in automobiles. As this type of ashtray, there is known an ashtray provided with a cylindrical fire extinguishing member (butt butt insertion hole 5) for inserting a cigarette tip in order to extinguish a cigarette easily and reliably (for example, a patent). Reference 1).
[0003]
The ashtray described in Patent Document 1 has a reduced diameter portion in which the inner diameter of the lower end portion of the fire extinguishing member is smaller than the outer diameter of the cigarette, so that the tip of the cigarette does not pass through and the fire can be extinguished reliably. It is like that.
[0004]
However, in this ashtray, while many cigarettes are extinguished, ash is clogged in the reduced diameter part of the fire extinguishing member, thereby reducing the function of extinguishing the fire or making it impossible to insert the cigarette Bad effects occur.
[0005]
Further, an ashtray (fire extinguishing tool) that includes a similar cylindrical fire extinguishing member and has a plurality of slit-like openings (through holes 4) formed on a side surface of the fire extinguishing member is disclosed (for example, see Patent Document 2). ).
[0006]
However, even in this ashtray, the function of removing ash is not sufficient, and as many cigarettes are extinguished, the ash is clogged in the slit-shaped opening (through hole 4), and the fire extinguishes due to that. Since ash is also clogged inside the member, there is a negative effect that the function of extinguishing the fire is reduced and tobacco cannot be inserted.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the ashtray of the present invention will be described in detail based on preferred embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings.
[0022]
1 is a perspective view (internal perspective view) showing a state in which a lid in an embodiment of the ashtray of the present invention is closed, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a state in which the lid is opened in an embodiment of the ashtray of the present invention. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. 1 (a state where the lid is closed), and FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB in FIG. 2 (a state where the lid is opened). Hereinafter, the structure of the ashtray 1 will be described based on these drawings. For convenience of explanation, the upper side in FIGS. 1 to 4 is referred to as “upper”, “upper” or “upper end”, and the lower side is referred to as “lower”, “lower” or “lower end”. The right side in FIG. 4 is referred to as “rear” or “rear”, and the left side is referred to as “front” or “front”.
[0023]
The ashtray 1 has a main body 2, a lid body 5, a hinge structure portion 6 that supports the lid body 5 so as to be rotatable with respect to the main body 2, and a cylindrical fire extinguishing member 7 into which a tip end portion of a cigarette can be inserted. is doing.
[0024]
The main body 2 includes an annular frame 3 and a cup-shaped ash receiving tray (ash receiving bowl) 4 that is detachably mounted below the frame 3. The ash tray 4 is a bottomed cylindrical member in which tobacco ash and butts are collected. When a certain amount of cigarette ash and butts are accumulated, the ash tray 4 is removed from the frame 3, discarded, and attached to the frame 3 again. In addition, the main body 2 in the present invention is not limited to such a configuration, and the ash tray 4 may be fixedly installed with respect to the frame 3, or the main body 2 itself is configured by one member. Also good.
[0025]
The lid 5 has a dish shape that is substantially the same shape as the outer periphery of the frame 3, and covers the upper end opening of the frame 3 when the lid 5 is closed (see FIGS. 1 and 3). The lid body 5 is rotatably installed at the rear portion of the frame body 3 via the hinge structure portion 6.
[0026]
The hinge structure portion 6 includes a pair of support pieces 61 and 62 provided on the lower surface (inner surface) of the lid 5, and a rotating shaft 63 that penetrates both the support pieces 61 and 62. Both ends of the rotation shaft 63 are fixed to the frame body 3. A spring (torsion spring) 8 that is an urging means for urging the lid 5 in the opening direction (clockwise in FIG. 4) is provided around the rotation shaft 63.
[0027]
The rotating shaft 63 is not limited to a single continuous axis, and may be a pair of left and right short axes.
[0028]
Moreover, in this embodiment, it has the lock mechanism 51 which maintains the state in which the cover body 5 was closed. The lock mechanism 51 is mainly formed on the inner side of the claw 52 of the claw member that protrudes from the front lower surface side of the lid 5 and the engagement hole in which the claw 52 can be engaged. 53.
[0029]
A button 54 is provided at the end of the claw member opposite to the claw 52. A ring-shaped elastic member 55 made of an elastic material is attached to the base of the button 54. When the button 54 is pressed with a finger and then released, the button 54 returns to its original position by the elastic force of the elastic member 55.
[0030]
When the lid 5 is closed against the biasing force of the spring 8, the claw 52 engages with the engagement hole 53, and the lock mechanism 51 is locked. Thereby, the cover 5 is maintained in a closed state (see FIGS. 1 and 3). Further, when the cover 5 is closed and the lock mechanism 51 is locked, when the button 54 is pushed rearward, the claw 52 is retracted (moved rearward) and is released from the engagement hole 53 to be unlocked. Is done. Thereby, the cover body 5 opens.
[0031]
The fire extinguishing member 7 includes a first member 71 and a second member 72. The first member 71 and the second member 72 can take the open state (divided state) shown in FIGS. 1 and 3 and the combined state (combined state) shown in FIGS. 2 and 4. At least one of them is displaced (rotated) with respect to the other.
[0032]
The second member 72 has a U-shaped cross section, and the lower side surface is open. On the other hand, the 1st member 71 is a plate-shaped member arrange | positioned so that the said lower side open | release part of the 2nd member 72 can be block | closed, The inner surface (upper surface) curved in the substantially circular arc shape. It has a curved concave surface. By combining the first member 71 and the second member 72 as described above, a substantially cylindrical fire extinguishing member 7 is formed, and the tip of the cigarette is inserted into the inside (the lumen 70) to extinguish the cigarette fire. Can do.
[0033]
The first member 71 is connected to the support piece 61 via a connecting member 73 that is positioned below the rotating shaft 63 and the spring 8 and extends in a direction substantially parallel to the rotating shaft 63. That is, the first member 71 is fixedly installed on the lid body 5 via the connecting member 73 and the support piece 61. As a result, the first member 71 rotates together with the lid 5.
[0034]
The second member 72 is installed so as to be rotatable with respect to the lid body 5, the first member 71, and the frame body 3. That is, the rotation shaft 63 passes through the rear end portion of the second member 72, and the second member 72 rotates about the rotation shaft 63.
[0035]
Thus, the central axis of rotation of the first member 71 and the central axis of rotation of the second member 72 are coincident. Thereby, there is an advantage that the number of parts can be reduced and the structure can be simplified.
[0036]
At the rear end of the second member 72, a protruding contact portion 74 that can contact the inner surface of the rear portion of the frame 3 is formed. When the second member 72 rotates counterclockwise from the state shown in FIG. 4 and the contact portion 74 contacts the inner surface of the rear portion of the frame 3 (see FIG. 3), the second member 72 is further in FIG. Does not rotate counterclockwise. That is, the contact of the contact portion 74 restricts (stops) the rotation of the second member 72 in the counterclockwise direction in FIG.
[0037]
In addition, a plate-like cover 75 disposed so as to cover the upper part of the spring 8 is fixed to the second member 72 on the side of the second member 72 (the side on the left back side in FIGS. 1 and 2). It is integrated. The cover 75 rotates around the rotation shaft 63 together with the second member 72.
[0038]
At the rear part of the cover 75, a bent part 76 is provided that is bent upward at an angle of, for example, 30 to 60 ° with respect to the main body portion of the cover 75.
[0039]
One end portion 81 of the spring 8 is in contact with the upper surface of the rear portion of the connecting member 73, and the other end portion 82 of the spring 8 is in contact with the inner surface of the bent portion 76 of the cover 75. As a result, the second member 72 is urged in the counterclockwise direction in FIG. 4, that is, so as to come into pressure contact with the first member 71. Moreover, the 1st member 71 is urged | biased clockwise in FIG. 4, and, thereby, the cover body 5 is urged | biased in the opening direction.
[0040]
Since the first member 71 is fixedly installed on the lid 5, the rotation angle range (maximum rotation angle) α of the first member 71 is equal to the rotation angle range of the lid 5 (see FIG. 4). The rotation angle range α is preferably about 70 to 120 °, more preferably about 75 to 115 °.
[0041]
In addition, when the lid 5 is rotated in the closing direction from the state shown in FIG. 4, the second member 72 is also initially rotated in the same direction. Since the rotation of the second member 72 is stopped by contacting the rear inner surface of the body 3, the rotation angle range (maximum rotation angle) β of the second member 72 is smaller than α.
[0042]
In this case, α−β is substantially equal to the opening angle of the first member 71 with respect to the second member 72 in the state where the lid 5 is closed (see FIG. 3). The α-β is not particularly limited, but is preferably about 10 to 70 °, more preferably about 20 to 55 °, and further preferably about 30 to 40 °. Thereby, when the ash is clogged in the lumen 70 of the fire extinguishing member 7, the ash can be efficiently discharged.
[0043]
As shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 4, when the lid 5 is open, the first member 71 and the second member 72 are in pressure contact with each other, and the upper part of the first member 71 ( The second member 72 is located on the upper side. And the front side opening (front side edge part of the lumen | bore 70) of the fire extinguishing member 7 has faced the diagonally upward front. Thereby, when the lid 5 is opened, the tip of the cigarette can be easily and surely inserted into the lumen 70 of the fire extinguishing member 7 to extinguish the fire.
[0044]
When the lid 5 is closed, the first member 71 rotates so as to open with respect to the second member 72 (opening angle = α−β), and the front side end portion (cigarette insertion side) of the first member 71. The end) is directed downward or diagonally forward. Thereby, when the ash is clogged in the lumen 70 of the fire extinguishing member 7, the ash can be efficiently discharged.
[0045]
The frame 3, the ash tray 4, the lid 5, the support pieces 61 and 62, the first member 71, the second member 72, the connecting member 73, the cover 75, etc. each have heat resistance, incombustibility, or flame resistance. It is preferable that it is made of a material. Examples of such materials include various metal materials such as aluminum and stainless steel, polyesters such as polycarbonate, polyethylene terephthalate and polybutylene terephthalate (especially thermoplastic reinforced polyester), polyamides, and other epoxy resins and phenol resins. And various resin materials such as thermosetting resin, various ceramic materials, and the like.
[0046]
In the present invention, the first member 71 and the second member 72 are combined (combined) to form the fire extinguishing member 7, and the function of extinguishing the cigarette is produced. The first member 71 and the second member 72 Is divided to break up and remove the clogged ash, but the first member 71 and the second member 72 are divided into the second member 72 as in the present embodiment. For example, the first member 71 and the second member 72 are relatively moved (linearly moved) in the longitudinal direction of the lumen 70 or in a direction orthogonal thereto, without being limited to the rotation (opening / closing) of the one member 71. You may divide.
[0047]
Next, the operation of the ashtray 1 will be described.
In the state shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, that is, in a state where the lid 5 is closed and locked by the lock mechanism 51 (a state where the claw 52 is engaged with the engagement hole 53), the first member 71 and the second member 71 The member 72 is divided and opened. In this state, when the button 54 is pushed backward with a finger, the lock mechanism 51 is unlocked, and the cover 5 is rotated clockwise in FIG.
[0048]
By this rotation, the lid 5 is gradually opened. Along with this, the first member 71 also rotates clockwise, but the second member 72 is stationary with its abutment portion 74 abutting against the inner surface of the rear portion of the frame 3 by the biasing force of the spring 8. Therefore, the first member 71 is gradually closed. That is, the opening angle of the first member 71 with respect to the second member 72 is gradually reduced.
[0049]
When the lid 5 further opens, the first member 71 eventually engages and presses against the second member 72 (the opening angle of both members becomes 0), and the first member 71 and the second member 72 are combined. Thus, a cylindrical fire extinguishing member 7 is formed. This state occurs when the lid 5 in the closed state is rotated clockwise by an angle α-β. Hereinafter, this state (posture) is referred to as an “intermediate point”.
[0050]
From the midpoint, the lid 5 is further rotated clockwise to bring the lid 5 into the most open state (the state shown in FIGS. 2 and 4). At this time, since the first member 71 rotates clockwise while pressing the second member 72 against the urging force of the spring 8, the first member 71 and the second member 72 are integrated, In other words, the fire extinguishing member 7 is rotated.
[0051]
In the state in which the lid 5 is most opened (see FIGS. 2 and 4), the fire extinguishing member 7 has a posture in which the front side opening (the front side end portion of the lumen 70) faces obliquely upward. In this state, when the tip of a lit cigarette is inserted into the lumen 70 of the fire extinguishing member 7 and pushed in, the fire is extinguished. At this time, the ash falls from the lower end opening of the fire extinguishing member 7 into the ash tray 4 and is accumulated. When the cigarette is extinguished, the cigarette butt is removed from the fire extinguishing member 7 and discarded into the ash tray 4.
[0052]
Next, from the state in which the lid 5 is most opened (see FIGS. 2 and 4), the lid 5 is rotated counterclockwise to close the lid 5. Up to the intermediate point, the first member 71 and the second member 72 are combined to form the cylindrical fire extinguishing member 7, but when the lid 5 is further rotated counterclockwise past the intermediate point, Since the contact portion 74 contacts the rear inner surface of the frame 3 and the rotation of the second member 72 stops, the first member 71 opens relative to the second member 72. That is, the opening angle of the first member 71 with respect to the second member 72 is gradually increased. In other words, the second member 72 rotates relative to the first member 71, and both the members 71 and 72 are divided and opened.
[0053]
When the lid 5 is in a closed state (the state shown in FIGS. 1 and 3), the first member 71 opens with respect to the second member 72 at an opening angle = α−β, and the first member 71 The front end (tobacco insertion side end) is in a posture that faces forward and obliquely downward.
[0054]
Here, when the cigarette ash is clogged in the lumen 70 of the fire extinguishing member 7, the first member 71 opens with respect to the second member 72, and the lumen 70 of the fire extinguishing member 7 is opened. It is crushed (unraveled), dropped and accumulated in the ash tray 4.
[0055]
When the lid 5 is closed, the claw 52 engages with the engagement hole 53 to be locked, and the state where the lid 5 is closed is maintained.
[0056]
In such an ashtray 1, as described above, as the lid body 5 is closed, the ash clogged in the lumen 70 of the fire extinguishing member 7 can be automatically broken and removed. It is possible to maintain a state in which ash is not clogged by an extremely simple operation, that is, a state in which the function of extinguishing fire by the fire extinguishing member 7 is sufficiently maintained.
[0057]
Further, immediately before the lid body 5 is closed or before the lid body 5 is completely closed (in a state where the lid body 5 is half-opened), the first member 71 and the second member 72 are divided into the lumens of the fire extinguishing member 7. Since the ash clogged in 70 is broken and dropped, the broken ash and sparks are prevented from rising, and the surroundings can be kept safe and clean.
[0058]
Further, the ash removal operation is automatically performed in accordance with the operation of closing the lid 5 without performing the operation (ash removal operation) for releasing the clogging of the lumen 70 of the fire extinguishing member 7 with the ash. Maintenance is extremely simple and convenient.
[0059]
In the above-described embodiment, the cover 5 has been described as being capable of taking two states, mainly a closed state and an open state (most open state), but an arbitrary position (state) between these states. ), For example, the lid 5 may be stationary at a position between the intermediate point or the intermediate point and the most open state. In this case, the lid 5 may be capable of being stationary continuously at an arbitrary position, or may be stationary in stages (one or more stages).
[0060]
The ashtray 1 as described above is installed in any place such as in a car, in a train or aircraft, in a plane, in a room, in a store, in a toilet, outside in a park, public place, or other places where smoking is allowed. It may be a thing. When the ashtray of the present invention is installed and used in an automobile, the ashtray 1 is fixed to, for example, an automobile dashboard, an air conditioner outlet, the inner surface of a door, the vicinity of a console box, the back of a seat, or the like. (Not shown) can be provided.
[0061]
As described above, the present invention has been described based on the illustrated embodiment, but the present invention is not limited to this, and the configuration of each part can be replaced with any configuration that can exhibit the same function, In addition, an arbitrary configuration may be added.
[0062]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the fire extinguishing member can easily and surely extinguish the cigarette, can prevent the extinguishing member from being clogged with ash, and the fire extinguishing member has a sufficient extinguishing function. Can be held in.
[0063]
In particular, the removal of the ash clogged in the fire extinguishing member is automatically performed in accordance with the operation of closing the lid, so that a troublesome operation for removing the ash is unnecessary, which is convenient.
[0064]
Further, the ashtray of the present invention has a simple structure, a small number of parts, and is advantageous for reduction in size and weight.
