Description

【0001】

Usually, paper, synthetic resin, wood, or the like is used as the material of the shaft 2a.
Recently, various cotton swabs have been devised according to applications, for example, so-called baby swabs, in which the shaft 2a and the cotton fiber part 3a are made thinner than usual to clean the ears and nose of infants. Is manufactured.
When the baby swab 1b shown in FIG. 12 is used to clean an infant's ear or nose, a cotton fiber portion 3b provided at one end of the shaft 2b is inserted into the ear or nose, and waste or foreign matter is removed from the cotton fiber portion 3b. It was entangled and removed.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in this case, since only the wastes are entangled in the cotton fiber part 3b, the wastes are dropped into the ears and nose in the middle of scraping out the wastes, or pushed into the back. There was a drawback that it could not be removed well.
In addition, the cotton fiber part 3b was rubbed too hard on the inner walls of the ears and nose, and the ear and nose mucosa were damaged.
Furthermore, since the shaft diameter is thin, the shaft 2b is bent or broken, and there is a disadvantage that it is not easy to use.
The present invention has been invented to solve these drawbacks.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The technical means of the cotton swab in the present invention is that a flat portion is provided at least in the center of a shaft made of a synthetic resin having a high bending elastic modulus.
