BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the check of the operation state of the optical pickup and the cleaning of the objective lens surface. Among various factors of the malfunction of the optical reproducing apparatus, the majority depends on the years of use and the use environment. In many cases, more than 3 years of playback equipment, it has been found that the failure of the optical pickup itself is the main cause of playback failure beyond the contamination of the pickup. It provides a means for easily determining whether or not a failure of the device itself is the cause.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Optical discs and magneto-optical discs are known as disc-shaped recording media that use optical means for recording and reproducing information. These disc-shaped recording media are used for CD MD as digital music media, CD-ROM as storage media for computers, DVD as next-generation video media, and the like.
In this case, reproduction or reading of software is performed by an optical pickup device. An optical disk facing the optical pickup objective lens is used for the input / output of the laser of the optical pickup apparatus in order to remove small dust, dust and the like attached to the optical pickup objective lens. A cleaning member is attached to the surface, and cleaning is performed by playing with an optical pickup device. However, there is no optical disc to which a check method for the pickup device in which the operation state of the optical pickup device is deteriorated and the reproduction function is lowered is added.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When the optical pickup objective lens is cleaned by a cleaning member disposed on the disk, the cleaning is performed by a rotating operation, and the cleaning member cleans the optical pickup objective lens, and dust, dust, and the like can be removed.
[0004]
However, when the operating state of the optical pickup deteriorates, the defocus phenomenon occurs, or the laser beam power decreases due to the deterioration of the laser semiconductor, causing the correct operation of the correction circuit such as error correction of the optical pickup device. In the worst case, the dropout phenomenon occurs frequently and the reproduction becomes impossible.
[0005]
[Means for solving the problems]
The present invention records a digital signal for checking the operation state of the function of the optical pickup on an optical disc facing the optical pickup objective lens, and pits on a reflective film satisfying a reference reflectance that does not interfere with the focusing and reading of the laser beam at all. In addition to the region in which pits are formed, it is composed of a reciprocal region, or a region in which pits are formed in a reflective film that reflects only a predetermined amount continuously in one region and the reflectance is changed. Also, the optical pickup objective lens can be cleaned by attaching a cleaning member to a predetermined portion of the performance surface.
[0006]
The pits on which the signals are recorded are formed of plastic by a stamper based on a manufacturing method generally used conventionally, and a metal film such as aluminum is deposited on the plastic to reflect a laser beam. However, the adjustment of the reflectivity of the metal film for reducing the reflectivity of the reflectivity reduction region is performed by a method such as changing the type of material, and the division for each region is formed by a method such as masking.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the present invention, an optical disc on which a digital signal for checking the operation state of the optical pickup is recorded, as described above, a region in which pits are formed with a reflective film satisfying a reference reflectance that does not interfere with laser beam focusing and reading, and The pit is formed by a reflective film having a reflectance lower than the reference value, and this region maintains the reflectance within a range where the reproduction reference of the optical pickup device can be reproduced at a minimum.
[0008]
The optical disc is a digital signal (music data) for checking the operation state of the optical pickup, for example, a region for checking the operation state is divided into a plurality, and the same content signal is used for each region from the inner periphery. The area where the pits are formed with a reflective film satisfying the standard reflectance without interference at all, the area where the cleaning member is provided on the outer periphery, and the reflective film where the reflectance of the laser beam focusing and reading is lower on the outer periphery Thus, pits having different reflectances of the reflecting film are formed for each region, and the performance of the optical pickup is judged based on the operation state of the optical pickup in each region.
[0009]
【Example】
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS.
The optical disc 2 on which the digital signal 1 (music, data) suitable for checking the operation state of the optical pickup is recorded has a reference reflectance that does not interfere with the condensing and reading of the laser beam 3 on the inner circumference facing the optical pickup. A region 4 in which pits are formed by a reflective film to be filled is provided, and a cleaning member 6 is attached to the cleaning region 5 on the outer periphery, and the outside of this region is divided into a plurality of portions, and the inside is focused on the reflectivity of the laser beam focusing and reading. A region 7 in which pits are formed and a region 8 outside are formed by a reflective film that is stepwise below the value.
[0010]
Further, as described above, the focusing and reading of the laser beam in the regions 7 and 8 formed with pits by the reflecting film having a reflectance lower than the reflectance is configured within the reproducible range of the pickup device as a minimum.
[0011]
In addition, it is possible to check the operation of the optical pickup by forming the pits 9 with a reflection film using a gradation method so that the reflectance is gradually lower than the reference value.
[0012]
[Action]
An example of the operation of the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
The optical pickup operation check standard of the optical disk reproduction apparatus is a reproduction apparatus that cannot reproduce correctly in the region 4 in which the pits are formed with the reflection film satisfying the standard reflectance with no interference. If reproduction is possible in the region 7 where the pits are formed with the lower reflective film, the state of the optical pickup is good, and if reproduction is possible in the region 8 where the pits are formed with the reflective film whose reflectivity is lower than the region 7, it can be judged that the state is very good.
[0013]
In addition, when the reproduction cannot be correctly performed in the regions 7 and 8 in which the pits are formed by the respective reflection films having the reduced reflectance, the cleaning is performed by the cleaning member 6 in which the optical pickup objective lens is attached to the cleaning region 5, and thereafter If each of the areas 7 and 8 can be correctly reproduced, it can be determined that the objective lens of the optical pickup is contaminated.
[0014]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention is implemented in the form as described above, and has the effects described below.
[0015]
The optical pickup objective lens can be easily cleaned.
[0016]
By operating in an area where the pits are formed with a reflective film whose reflectivity is lower than the reference value, the operation status of the optical pickup can be easily discriminated, and the cleaner is linked to make the optical pickup more accurate. It is possible to determine whether operation is possible.
