Description

【0001】

[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
The present invention relates to a small mobile phone including a liquid crystal display unit that displays characters and images.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, mobile phones have been downsized to improve portability. On the other hand, in addition to the function of a telephone, a function as an output terminal for the Internet and various types of information has been added, and a liquid crystal display unit capable of displaying a large amount of information has been required. Therefore, for example, as shown in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-249596, an openable / closable lid is provided on the liquid crystal display section of the telephone body, and a second liquid crystal display section is formed on the back surface of the lid body. There is provided an open telephone which allows the liquid crystal display unit and the second liquid crystal display unit of the telephone body to be used as a multi-display unit.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above conventional type, the liquid crystal display section of the telephone body is always closed by the lid, so the liquid crystal display section cannot be seen when used as a normal telephone, and the lid is opened each time. There was a defect that it had to be used. In addition, when both the liquid crystal display unit and the second liquid crystal display unit of the telephone main body are used as a multi-display unit, there is a problem that power consumption increases and the use time is limited.
[0004]
Therefore, when the present invention is used as a telephone, the liquid crystal display section of the telephone body can be used as it is like a conventional mobile phone, and it is necessary to display a large amount of information such as the Internet. Can reverse the second liquid crystal display part folded on the back of the phone to form a large area display part together with the liquid crystal display part of the phone body, and when using the second liquid crystal part, the hidden solar cell The main object is to provide a mobile phone that is exposed on the surface and operates as an auxiliary power source and can be used for a long time.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention takes the following technical means. That is, in the mobile phone according to the present invention, the phone main body 1 having the first liquid crystal display portion 2 on the surface and the hinge portion 3 provided at one edge of the phone main body 1 are used. And a second liquid crystal display unit 5 is provided on the outer surface of the rotary plate 4 in a closed position in which the rotary plate 4 is folded and closely attached to the rear surface of the telephone body 1. The mobile phone is formed so that the rotary plate 4 can be rotated until the second liquid crystal display unit 5 is oriented in the same direction as the first liquid crystal display unit 2. The solar cell 11 is provided on the surface hidden by the moving plate 4, the surface opposite to the surface on which the second liquid crystal display unit 5 of the rotating plate 4 is provided, or both surfaces.
[0006]
The solar cell 11 is preferably provided on both the surface hidden by the rotating plate 4 of the telephone body 1 and the surface of the rotating plate 4 opposite to the surface on which the second liquid crystal display unit 5 is provided. However, either one of them may be used.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the configuration of the present invention will be described based on the embodiments shown in the drawings. 1 to 3 show a first embodiment of the present invention. Reference numeral 1 denotes a telephone body. The surface of the telephone body 1 is provided with a first liquid crystal display unit 5, various operation buttons 7,..., A microphone 8 and a speaker 9 as in a conventional mobile phone, and an antenna 10 is provided at the upper end. Yes. In the figure, 12 indicates a battery attached to the telephone body, and 13 indicates a camera lens.
[0008]
A rotating plate 4 is folded and attached so as to overlap the back surface of the telephone body 1 via a hinge part 3 provided at one edge of the telephone body 1. In a closed posture in which the rotating plate 4 is folded and closely adhered to the back surface of the telephone body 1, the second liquid crystal display unit 5 is provided on the outer surface, and the second liquid crystal display unit 5 is the first liquid crystal display unit 5. The rotating plate 4 is formed so as to be able to rotate and reverse to a posture facing the same direction as the liquid crystal display unit 2.
[0009]
Furthermore, solar cells 11 and 11 are provided on both the surface hidden by the rotating plate 4 of the telephone body 1 and the surface opposite to the surface on which the second liquid crystal display unit 5 of the rotating plate 4 is provided. Yes. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, these solar cells 11, 11 reverse the rotating plate 4 to form the second liquid crystal display unit 5 together with the liquid crystal display unit 2 of the telephone body 1 to form a large area display unit. When a large capacity character or figure is displayed, it is exposed to the outside and operates as an auxiliary power source.
[0010]
In the above configuration, when the mobile phone of the present invention is used as a normal phone, it may be used with the rotating plate 4 being in close contact with the back surface of the phone body 1 as shown in FIG. As a result, it is possible to display and use characters and figures such as telephone numbers on the liquid crystal display unit 2 of the telephone body 1 in the same manner as a conventional telephone. Further, when it is necessary to display a large amount of information such as the Internet, the second liquid crystal display unit 5 is displayed on the liquid crystal display of the telephone body 1 by inverting the rotating plate 4 folded on the back of the telephone as shown in FIG. A large area display unit can be formed together with the unit 2 to display a large volume of characters and figures. At this time, since the solar cells 11 and 11 are exposed to the outside and operate as an auxiliary power source, they can be used for a long time regardless of the liquid crystal display portion in a large area. Moreover, since the solar cells 11 and 11 are concealed in the posture in which the rotating plate 4 is folded into the back surface of the telephone body 1, the external aesthetics and design of the form telephone are not impaired.
[0011]
The rotating plate 4 is preferably provided with simple latches and engaging means so that the posture can be stably maintained in the posture in which the rotating plate 4 is in close contact with the back surface of the telephone body 1 and the posture in which the rotating plate 4 is rotated in the reverse direction.
[0012]
In the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the telephone body 1 is formed by a main body 1a having various operation buttons 7 and a panel 1b having a liquid crystal display 2, and the panel 1b is a main body. The present invention can also be applied to a two-fold type mobile phone formed so as to be foldable with respect to the portion 1a via a hinge 14. That is, the rotating plate 4 having the second liquid crystal display unit 5 is rotatably attached to the back surface of the panel unit 1b via the hinge 3 in the same manner as in the first embodiment. Solar cells 11 and 11 are provided on both the surface hidden by the rotating plate 4 of 1b and the surface opposite to the surface on which the second liquid crystal display unit 5 of the rotating plate 4 is provided. As a result, it is possible to operate in the same manner as in the first embodiment.
[0013]
As mentioned above, although the Example considered to be typical of this invention was described, this invention is not necessarily limited only to these Example structures. For example, any one of the solar cells 11 and 11 shown in the above embodiment can be omitted. In addition, the present invention can be implemented with appropriate modifications within the scope that includes the structural requirements, achieves the object of the present invention, and exhibits the following effects.
[0014]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, when used as an ordinary telephone, characters and figures such as telephone numbers are displayed on the liquid crystal display portion of the telephone body as it is in a conventional telephone. If it is possible to display a large amount of information such as the Internet, the liquid crystal display unit together with the liquid crystal display unit of the phone main body is reversed by inverting the rotating plate folded on the back of the phone. The liquid crystal display part of the area can be formed, and when used as a liquid crystal display part of a large area, the solar cell is exposed to the outside and operates as an auxiliary power source, so it can withstand long-term use, In addition, the solar cell is concealed when the rotating plate is folded on the back of the phone body, so that the external appearance of the phone is not impaired and can be formed with the same design view as before. That, there is an effect, such as.
