Abstract
Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an indicator for displaying and recording a temperature history whether or not a predetermined temperature has been exceeded and a history of the presence or absence of moisture adhesion by irreversible changes in color and appearance.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Products such as foodstuffs and pharmaceuticals may rot or deteriorate when they exceed a predetermined temperature or become wet. In addition, a product such as a precision instrument may be damaged or break down when a predetermined temperature is exceeded or moisture adheres.
[0003]
In order to check the temperature history of a product and the history of the presence or absence of moisture adhesion, a temperature indicator or a moisture indicator that indicates the history with a change in color tone is widely used.
[0004]
As such a temperature indicator, Patent Document 1 is printed with ink in which a dye diffuses into a hot-melted substance, and shows that it has been heated to a predetermined temperature with a clear change in color tone. There is disclosed a device that can confirm the temperature history without returning to the original color tone even after it has been lowered.
[0005]
In addition, as a moisture indicator, Patent Document 2 discloses that a water-soluble dye dissolved in condensed water is printed with an ink that diffuses into an ink vehicle, and that the condensed water has adhered to it with a clear change in color tone. It is disclosed that the moisture adhesion history can be confirmed without returning to the original color even after drying.
[0006]
[Patent Document 1] JP 2002-294127 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2001-296247 A
These indicators detect only temperature and moisture adhesion, respectively. In order to check the history of both temperature and moisture adhesion, both indicators must be affixed, and both inks must be printed side by side to produce an integrated indicator and affixed. It is cumbersome and productivity is poor.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and provides a simple indicator that can detect both temperature history and moisture adhesion history clearly and irreversibly and accurately with changes in color tone and appearance. For the purpose.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The temperature history and moisture adhesion history indicator of the present invention, which has been made to achieve the above object, is a particulate or powdered hot-melt material having a melting point corresponding to the temperature to be detected, and diffusion into the hot-melt material. An indicator ink containing a coloring particulate or powdery coloring material and a colored water-based ink having a color tone different from that of the coloring material is applied to the substrate.
[0010]
The indicator ink preferably contains 5 to 60 parts by weight of a heat-meltable substance, 0.01 to 25 parts by weight of a pigment, and 15 to 95 parts by weight of a colored water-based ink. If it is out of this range, the change in color tone becomes unclear.
[0011]
In the temperature history and moisture adhesion history indicator, indicator ink is applied to the substrate. In the applied part, only a color tone of the colored water-based ink is observed because a large amount of the hot-melt material and the colored water-based ink in the ink layer conceal the dye remaining in a much smaller amount. .
[0012]
When the indicator is heated to a predetermined temperature or higher, the hot-melt material is melted. It is observed that the color of the indicator has changed as a result of the dye becoming finer and diffusing in the hot melted material, or by dissolving and diffusing and being exposed to a large amount on the indicator surface. Since the diffusion of the dye into the hot melt material is irreversible, the indicator does not return to the color before the color change even when cooled.
[0013]
On the other hand, it is observed that the appearance has changed as a result of the colored water-based ink spreading from the applied portion to the periphery when moisture is attached. Since bleeding of colored water-based ink to the periphery is irreversible, even if moisture evaporates, it does not return to the state before moisture adhesion.
[0014]
In addition, the indicator displays the color tone changed by the pigment when the temperature exceeds a predetermined temperature, and when the water adheres, the colored water-based ink oozes around the display to change the appearance. Since each display method is different, this indicator can accurately determine whether a predetermined temperature has been exceeded or whether moisture has passed.
[0015]
The heat-meltable substance preferably has a diameter of 0.01 μm to 5 mm, and the dye preferably has a diameter of 0.001 μm to 1 mm.

The colored water-based ink has a property of bleeding in the periphery due to adhesion of moisture, and is a general colored water-based ink, and preferably does not conceal the color tone of the dye diffused in the material melted by heating. As the colored water-based ink, one that does not dissolve the hot-melt material and the coloring matter is used.
[0035]
The indicator ink may contain additives such as a color tone adjusting agent, an extender, a stabilizer, an anti-settling agent, a surfactant, and a dispersant.
[0036]
It is preferable that the base material has good indicator ink applicability and retention, good thermal conductivity, and hardly causes a temperature difference between the product temperature and the indicator layer. An example is fine paper.
[0037]
In order to easily attach the indicator to the product on the substrate, an adhesive layer may be provided on the surface of the substrate on which the indicator ink is not applied, and a release paper may be attached to the adhesive layer. Good.
[0038]
【Example】
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail.
[0039]
A hot-melt material and a pigment are mixed and pulverized. Next, a colored water-based ink is added and mixed to obtain an indicator ink. When this ink is applied to a substrate, a temperature history and moisture adhesion history indicator is obtained.
[0040]
Further, the pulverization and mixing of the hot-melting substance and the coloring matter and the mixing of the colored water-based ink may be performed in one step at a temperature lower than the melting point of the hot-melting substance.
[0041]
In mixing, a mortar, a ball mill, a sand mill, a triple roll, or a stirrer may be used. You may use a mortar, a ball mill, and a sand mill in the case of a grinding | pulverization.
[0042]
If the application is performed at a temperature lower than the melting point of the heat-meltable substance, application by brushing, roll coater, spraying by spraying, silk screen printing, gravure printing, offset printing, and the like are possible.
[0043]
(Example 1)
100 parts by weight of myristic acid as a hot-melt material and C.I. I. 1 part by weight of direct orange 39 and 200 parts by weight of a commercially available water-based ink (yellow) as a colored water-based ink (manufactured by Pentel Co., Ltd., trade name: Color Brush) are pulverized and mixed with a ball mill to produce a yellow ink. Got. The obtained ink was printed on the surface of high-quality paper with a back adhesive by silk screen printing to produce a yellow indicator. When this indicator was heated from room temperature to 50 ° C. and then cooled again to room temperature, the color was confirmed to be orange. Moreover, when water was dripped on the unused indicator and the appearance when the water was dried was confirmed, it was in a state where yellow was blotted in the peripheral portion.
[0044]
(Examples 2 to 22)
An indicator was produced in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the hot-melt material was changed. The produced indicator was tested in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the heating temperature was changed according to the hot-melt material, and discoloration due to heating and appearance change due to moisture were confirmed. Table 1 shows the ink components, the heating temperature, and the color tone before and after the color change.
[0045]
(Examples 23 to 30)
An indicator was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the dye was changed. The produced indicator was tested in the same manner as in Example 1 to confirm discoloration due to heating and appearance change due to moisture. Table 2 shows ink components, heating temperature, and color tone before and after the color change.
[0046]
[Table 1]
[0047]
[Table 2]
[0048]
As is apparent from Tables 1 and 2, the temperature history and moisture adhesion history indicators of Examples 1 to 30 can clearly display a color change at a predetermined temperature and a predetermined temperature history. A clear change in appearance was observed before and after the dripping of water, and the moisture adhesion history could be detected.
[0049]
(Comparative Example 1)
As a commercially available temperature history indicator, Thermolabel LI-50 (trade name, manufactured by NOF Engineering Co., Ltd.) was heated from room temperature to 50 ° C., and after checking the color tone when cooled to room temperature again, the color changed from white to red. It was discolored. Moreover, after dripping water on an unused indicator, the color tone when water dried was confirmed, but the change was not recognized.
[0050]
(Comparative Example 2)
When water was dripped onto the moisture adhesion history indicator in which a line was drawn on the surface of the fine paper with a commercially available aqueous pen, the color tone when the water was dried was confirmed, and it was confirmed that the line was blurred. Moreover, although the color tone when an unused indicator was heated from room temperature to 100 degreeC and cooled to room temperature again was confirmed, discoloration was not recognized.
[0051]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, the temperature history and moisture adhesion history indicator of the present invention can set an arbitrary detected temperature by changing the type and blending amount of the hot-melt material. Depending on whether the color tone has changed or the appearance has changed, it is possible to accurately determine whether a predetermined temperature has been exceeded or whether moisture has passed.
[0052]
The temperature history and moisture adhesion history indicators can be produced in various shapes by processing such as printing. This indicator can be easily manufactured and is inexpensive.
[0053]
This indicator changes color and appearance when either a predetermined temperature is exceeded or moisture is attached. Only by using this indicator, both the temperature history and the moisture adhesion history can be detected easily and reliably.
[0054]
This indicator is affixed to products such as foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, and precision instruments that should avoid temperature rise and moisture adhesion, check the temperature history and moisture adhesion history during distribution, storage, and use, as well as product failure. It can be used to elucidate the cause of time and assure product quality.
