Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an applicator provided with a roller as a tip applicator. More specifically, the present invention relates to a roller-type applicator that solves problems such as liquid leakage during non-application.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there has been disclosed an applicator provided with a transfer roller via a porous member at the tip opening of a shaft cylinder directly containing ink (see Patent Document 1).
[0003]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 63-8994 [0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In use, the applicator disclosed in Patent Document 1 can transfer the ink inside the shaft cylinder through the roller printing surface without causing breaks in handwriting by rotating the roller by contacting the object to be coated. However, since the ink inside the shaft cylinder continues to be supplied to the porous member and the roller even when not in use, the ink may leak when the viscosity of the ink is low.
In the conventional applicator, the porous member and the roller are always in contact with each other, from the hole for taking air into the shaft cylinder (shaft cylinder opening) to the tip of the roller protrusion. Because of the long distance, ink leakage may occur when the roller portion is held downward when not in use.
[0005]
The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional problems, is excellent in liquid discharge properties during use, has no risk of handwriting interruptions, etc., and causes problems such as liquid leakage when not in use. There is no roller applicator.
In the present invention, “upper” refers to the liquid container side, and “lower” refers to the roller side.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The roller-type applicator 1 of the present invention includes a main body 2 having a liquid storage portion 21 and a roller storage portion 221, a roller 3 having a support shaft 31, and a liquid absorbing member 4, below the liquid storage portion 21. The liquid suction member 4 is provided between the liquid storage part 21 and the roller storage part 221 so as to close the liquid introduction hole 211, and the roller 3 can move up and down and rotate. As described above, the support shaft 31 is held on the side wall of the roller accommodating portion 221, the roller 3 moves upward during application and contacts the lower end of the liquid absorbing member 4, and the roller 3 moves downward when not applied. It is necessary to move away from the lower end of the liquid absorbing member 4 (Claim 1). Furthermore, the lower end portion of the liquid absorbing member 4 has a recess 42 (Claim 2), and a protective cover 5 that can move up and down together with the roller 3 is provided in the gap between the outer surface of the roller 3 and the roller accommodating portion 221. (Claim 3).
[0007]
The roller-type applicator 1 according to claim 1 uses the roller 3 side downward, and the roller 3 and the liquid-absorbing member 4 are in contact with each other at the time of use, and the liquid accommodated in the liquid-accommodating portion 21 is liquid-absorbing member 4. Can be applied to the roller marking surface 32 through the brush without being interrupted by handwriting, and the liquid can be prevented from leaking by maintaining the roller 3 and the liquid absorbing member 4 apart when not in use. is there.
[0008]
The main body 2 of the roller applicator 1 includes at least a liquid storage portion 21 having a liquid introduction hole 211 below and a roller storage portion 221 that holds the roller 3 so as to be movable up and down and rotatable. The liquid absorbing member 4 is provided at a position where the upper side covers the liquid introduction hole 211 and the lower side contacts the roller marking surface 32 when in use. The liquid container 21 containing a liquid such as water or ink is preferably provided at a location where the roller applicator 1 is gripped, and is configured to be easily gripped. In addition, the liquid container 21 can be configured to be detachable from the main body, or a liquid replenishing hole or lid can be provided to facilitate refilling of the liquid into the liquid container 21. The roller accommodating portion 221 is provided below the main body 2 so as to be wider than the width of the roller 3 and has a shape that does not cover the lower end portion of the roller 3 even when the roller 3 moves downward. The side wall of the shape which can hold | maintain 31 so that it can move up and down and can rotate is provided. In addition, the main body 2 may be provided with a hole or a string as required so that it can be suspended.
The roller 3 includes a support shaft 31 and is a cylindrical body having an outer peripheral surface as a marking surface 32, and is formed of a resin molded product, rubber, elastomer, metal, or the like. In particular, when formed with a resin molded product or metal, and when using a low-viscosity liquid such as water as the liquid to be stored, an image formed of a porous member such as felt is provided on the outer peripheral surface 32 and applied. It is preferable to improve the property.
The liquid absorbing member 4 is for holding the liquid stored in the liquid storage portion 21 and supplying the liquid to the roller 3. The liquid absorbing member 4 is provided so as to cover the liquid introduction hole 211 on the upper side and is applied on the lower side. It is provided so as to come into contact with the roller marking surface 32 when the tool 1 is used. As the liquid absorbing member 4, a porous member capable of holding a liquid therein is used, and specifically, a fibrous body such as felt, a nonwoven fabric, and a knitted fabric, and a foamed body such as sponge.
[0009]
When the roller-type applicator 1 presses the roller marking surface 32 against an object to be coated at the time of use, the roller 3 moves upward, and the roller marking surface 32 and the lower end portion of the liquid absorbing member 4 are brought into contact with each other. The liquid is supplied from the liquid container 21 to the roller marking surface 32 via the liquid absorbing member 4. Thereby, the liquid supply to the roller marking surface 32 is continuously performed, and even if the roller 3 is rotationally applied, it can be applied without causing handwriting breakage such as blurring or line skipping.
When not in use, the roller 3 is moved downward by its own weight by separating the roller marking surface 32 from the object to be coated, so that the roller marking surface 32 is in a non-contact state with the lower end portion of the liquid absorbing member 4. The liquid supply from the container 21 to the roller marking surface 32 is stopped. At this time, the distance (liquid head pressure) from the liquid introduction hole 211 to the lower end portion of the liquid absorbing member 4 is from the liquid introduction hole 211 to the lower end portion (contact surface with the application object) of the roller 3 in use. Since it becomes shorter than the distance (liquid head pressure), leakage of the liquid can be suppressed even if the main body 2 is held for a long time with the roller 3 facing downward.
[0010]
The roller-type applicator 1 according to claim 2 can reduce the contact resistance with the roller 3 during use by forming the recess 42 at the lower end of the liquid absorbing member 4 and can smoothly rotate the roller 3. It becomes like this. Further, by increasing the concave portion 42 in accordance with the image formed on the roller marking surface 32 or providing the convex portion 43 at a position in contact with the image, a contact surface (convex surface) with the roller marking surface 32 serving as a portion for supplying the liquid. Since the portion 43) supplies the liquid only to the image, a clear image 6 can be obtained without smashing the image 6 formed on the object to be coated with a large amount of liquid.
[0011]
The roller-type applicator 1 according to claim 3 is provided with a protective cover 5 that can move up and down together with the roller 3 in the gap between the outer surface of the roller 3 and the roller accommodating portion 221, so that the roller 3 moves up and down. 3 and the roller accommodating portion 221 are prevented from generating a large gap. Thereby, even when the moving distance of the up-down direction of the roller 3 is long, rattling of the roller 3 can be suppressed.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view in use of one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view of FIG. 1 when not in use. FIG. 3 is an external perspective view in use.
[0013]
The roller-type applicator 1 includes a hollow liquid container 21 having a liquid introduction hole 211 below, an upper opening 222 that connects the liquid container 21 from the liquid introduction hole side, and a roller container 221. The holder 22 provided as the main body 2, and further, the packing 23 for holding the guide core 41 is accommodated in the upper opening 222, the liquid absorbing member 4 accommodated in the holder 22, and the liquid absorbing member 4 includes a roller 3 provided in the roller housing portion 221 so as to be in contact with a lower end portion of the roller 4, and a protective cover 5 provided between the roller 3 and the roller housing portion 221.
[0014]
The liquid container 21 is a flexible resin container and is formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape so that it can be easily gripped during use, and a liquid introduction hole 211 for replenishing liquid (for example, water) inside. Is detachably connected to the upper opening 222 of the holder 22.
The holder 22 is a resin molded product having a lower opening and an upper opening 222 that serve as a roller accommodating portion 221. The upper opening 222 holds the guide core 41 and the liquid accommodating portion as the liquid is consumed. A packing 23 having an air hole 231 for taking in air is accommodated in 21, and water leakage from between the liquid accommodating portion 21 and the holder 22 can be prevented, and continuously from the liquid accommodating portion 21 by the guide core 41. A certain amount of water can be supplied to the liquid absorbing member 4. Further, the roller accommodating portion 221 is provided with a groove portion inside the side wall, and by engaging the support shaft 31 with the groove portion, the roller 3 is supported so as to be vertically movable and rotatable. Further, by providing a protrusion 223 in the holder 22, the liquid absorbing member 4 is attached in a replaceable manner.
[0015]
The roller 3 is a resin hollow body that is formed integrally with the support shaft 31 and has a groove on the outer peripheral surface, and is provided so that the plate-like felt formed in the lattice pattern that becomes the marking surface 32 is not displaced by the groove. It has been. Further, by holding the support shaft 31 in the roller accommodating portion 221, the roller 3 is supported so as to be movable up and down and rotatable. Further, by providing a protective cover 5 between the outer surface of the roller 3 and the roller accommodating portion 221 so that the roller 3 can rotate on the support shaft 31, the protective cover 5 moves up and down along with the vertical movement of the roller 3. Therefore, even when the moving distance in the vertical direction of the roller 3 is long, a large gap is not generated between the roller 3 and the roller accommodating portion 221, and the stable rotation of the roller 3 without rattling is obtained. Can do.
[0016]
The liquid-absorbing member 4 is made of a thin plate-like felt, and a guide core 41 made of a fiber bundle is press-fitted to the upper end portion, and a concave portion 42 is formed on the lower end portion. By providing the concave portion 42, the portion that comes into contact with the roller marking surface 32 at the time of use is reduced, so that the contact resistance at the time of rotation is reduced and the coating can be performed smoothly. Further, by providing the convex portion 43 obtained by providing the concave portion 42 so as to be in contact with the two long wire portions continuously provided on the outer peripheral surface of the roller 3, the entire roller marking surface 32 including the short wire portion is provided. Water is supplied in a balanced manner, and a continuous lattice pattern is obtained as the image 6. Further, by providing a mounting hole 44 and detachably attaching to the protrusion 223 formed on the holder 22, the liquid absorbing member 4 can be easily replaced when worn, and can be removed by rotation of the roller 3 during use. It can be held without any loss.
[0017]
In the roller applicator 1, the water in the liquid storage unit 21 is supplied from the liquid introduction hole 211 to the liquid absorbing member 4 through the induction core 41 in the state where the roller 3 faces downward, and air corresponding to the supplied amount of water is supplied. The air is taken into the liquid storage portion 21 from the air hole 231. During use, water discoloration is applied to the surface of the substrate to be coated (for example, a porous layer in which a low refractive index pigment is fixed in a binder resin in a dispersed state, and the transparency is different between a liquid-absorbing state and a non-liquid-absorbing state. When the roller marking surface 32 is pressed against the adhesive sheet), the roller 3 and the protective cover 5 move upward, and the roller marking surface 32 comes into contact with the convex portion 43 at the lower end of the liquid absorbing member. At this time, since the water supplied from the liquid storage unit 21 to the liquid absorbing member 4 is supplied to the roller marking surface 32, the lattice-patterned image 6 is formed on the surface of the water-changing sheet by the rotation of the roller 3. At the same time, the porous layer of the water-discoloring sheet becomes transparent and the color of the substrate surface appears as the image 6. Moreover, since water is continuously supplied from the liquid container 21 to the roller marking surface 32 during the rotation of the roller, the printed image 6 (lattice pattern) can be formed without interruption of handwriting (FIGS. 1 and 3).
[0018]
When not in use, the roller marking surface 32 moves upward from the object to be coated (water color changing sheet), so that the roller 3 and the protective cover 5 move downward, and the roller marking surface 32 moves from the convex portion 43 at the lower end of the liquid absorbing member. Since it leaves | separates, supply of the water to the roller marking surface 32 stops. At this time, the water in the liquid storage unit 21 remains supplied to the liquid absorbing member 4, but compared to the distance from the air hole 231 to the roller marking surface 32 (contact surface with the object to be coated) during use, Since the distance from the air hole 231 to the lower end portion of the liquid absorbing member 4 is shortened, water can be held in the liquid absorbing member 4 without causing leakage even if held in a downward state for a long time (FIG. 2).

【The invention's effect】
According to claim 1, the roller-type applicator of the present invention continuously supplies a certain amount of liquid to the roller marking surface during use, and forms a printed image without causing handwriting breakage or the like when the roller is spin-coated. be able to. Further, when not in use, the liquid supply from the liquid container to the roller marking surface is stopped, and the distance from the liquid introduction hole (air hole) to the lower end of the liquid absorbing member is from the liquid introduction hole (air hole) in use. Since it becomes short compared with the distance to a roller lower end part, the leakage of a liquid can be prevented more effectively.
[0020]
According to the second aspect, since the contact surface between the roller and the lower end portion of the liquid absorbing member is reduced, the contact resistance is reduced and the roller can be rotated smoothly. Further, it is possible to supply the liquid only to the image formed on the roller marking surface, and it is possible to obtain a clear printed image without the printed image formed on the coating object being crushed by supplying a large amount of liquid.
[0021]
According to the third aspect, even when the moving distance in the vertical movement of the roller is long, it is possible to prevent the roller from rattling due to a large gap between the roller and the roller accommodating portion.
