Abstract
Description
本発明は一般にデジタル通信システムに関し、より詳細にはデジタルワイヤレスう通信システムにおいてビットを情報バーストにマッピングするための方法および装置に関する。

(背景技術)
デジタル通信システムにおいては、データや音声などの情報が通信チャネル上でコード化された形式で伝播される。時間分割多重(TDM)通信システムにおける通信チャネルは時間スロットまたはフレームであって、その中にコード化された情報のバーストが挿入される。

(発明の開示)
本発明は、トレーニングシンボルおよびシンボル非対称に近接して生じるビットエラー率(BER)の位置依存特性を利用して、例えばヘッダシンボル/ビットなどの好適な情報を運ぶフィールドの信頼性を改良し、かつ、デコードされたデータBERに最小のインパクトを与えるものである。先ず、ヘッダビットがトレーニングシーケンスに近い情報バーストにマッピングされる。

図1を参照すれば、デジタル通信ネットワーク10は、基地局14と基地局制御装置16を含む無線アクセスネットワーク12を有する。無線アクセスネットワーク12は、回路スイッチネットワークまたはパケットデータネットワークであって良いスイッチファブリック18に結合されている。

Claims (1)
- 時間変化する通信チャネルの情報バースト(46)にビットをマッピングする方法であって:
第1群のビット(32)と第2群のビット(36)とをインターリーブして、インターリーブビットをもたらす段階;
トレーニングシーケンスに関する情報バースト(46)に前記インターリーブビット(38,40)をマッピングする段階;
不利益ビット位置にマッピングされたインターリーブビットから第1群のビットを認識する段階;
利益ビット位置にマッピングされたインターリーブビットから第2群のビットを認識する段階;および
前記第1群のビットを前記利益ビット位置に、前記第2群のビットを前記不利益ビット位置に挿入する段階;
から成る方法。
