Description

【0001】

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The conventional suturing needle described above uses a material that has no hardness in itself and allows the needle body to be easily bent because a thread is inserted therein.
[0008]
In recent medical practice, it has been desired that the suture itself has strength in order to suture hard tissues such as bones and artificial bones. Since there was no means for opening other than using a punch for opening, there was a disadvantage that the tip of the punch was easily damaged.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The inventor of the present invention has conducted intensive studies in order to solve the above-mentioned problem. As a result, even if a material having hardness such as 304 stainless steel is used, a notch portion is easily formed by providing a notch portion using a grindstone having a width of 0.5 mm. The present inventors have found that a stainless steel surgical needle of the present invention and a method for producing the same can be provided.
[0010]
That is, the first aspect of the present invention is a stainless steel surgical needle having a notch provided at the rear end of the needle main body and a locking portion obtained by sandwiching both ends of the notch tip.
[0011]
A second step of the present invention is to place a stainless steel material rod on a form material and press the rear end portion into a flat shape by a press and press the front half portion into a substantially triangular needle body, and obtain a first step. A second step of forming a notch with a grindstone at the rear end of the needle body obtained, and forming a locking portion by sandwiching the tip of the wedge-shaped pedestal at the center of the obtained notch so that the tips of the notches contact each other. And a third step of producing a surgical needle made of stainless steel.
[0012]
The third aspect of the present invention is the method for manufacturing a stainless steel surgical needle according to claim 2, wherein the grindstone is a grindstone having a width of 0.5 mm or less.
[0013]
The fourth aspect of the present invention is the method for manufacturing a stainless steel surgical needle according to claim 2, wherein the wedge-shaped pedestal has a diamond-shaped tip.
[0014]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 is a front view of a stainless steel surgical needle according to the present invention. As a surgical needle material, depending on the use, a 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm diameter rod of 304 stainless steel is cut to about 5 cm and a triangular V-shaped groove is dug in a female mold. And a second mold that gradually forms a flat groove in the direction of the tip, and presses it with a press from above to produce a needle body, and further sharpens the tip by sharpening it (first step). .
[0015]
As shown in FIG. 3, a notch 2 having a length of about 15 mm from the end and a width of 3 to 5 mm from the end was provided at the rear end of the surgical needle material main body 1 using a grindstone having a width of 0.5 mm. 2 steps). In this case, a width as narrow as 0.1 mm can be cut according to the application.
[0016]
Next, with the obtained notch 2 side as a head, the notch 2 was inserted into the wedge-shaped pedestal 5 which had been fixed in advance, while pressing the notch 2 against the rear end of the notch 2 until the wedge-shaped tip came into contact therewith.
[0017]
When the tip of the notch 4 is pinched along the reduced surface of the wedge-shaped pedestal using a press device operated by an air cylinder from both sides of the needle body in a pressed state, the tip of the notch bends inward, and one end of the wedge-shaped base is bent. When the head is pressed with a tool such as pliers after being separated from the pedestal, the left and right head pieces come into contact with each other to form the locking portion 2 (third step).
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
In the manufacturing process of the present invention, the notch is not formed by using a punch as in the related art, so that there is an effect that the manufacturing cost is reduced only by eliminating the need for an expensive punch.
[0019]
Using a wedge-shaped pedestal, it is only necessary to clamp the hole of the notch formed at one end with press equipment from both sides, so that no force is required at the time of work, and the locking portion can be constituted by simple means.
