Abstract
Description
【0001】

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When wearing a cannula shown in FIG. 4 or a cannula with a cuff described in
[0007]
Patients with reduced swallowing power and recurrent swallowing pneumonia often undergo tube feeding or infusion and fast. Surgery for otolaryngology (cricopharyngeal myotomy, occasional upper esophageal osteotomy, glottic closure, etc.) to prevent accidental swallowing is available, but is often used for elderly people with reduced physical strength Never. The number of patients who develop dysphagia, mainly due to cerebrovascular disorders and other diseases, increases as they age. At present in medical institutions, when a patient develops dysphagia and repeats swallowing, a tube inserted into the stomach from the nose (NG tube) or a tube inserted directly into the stomach from the body surface (stomach) (Fistula tube) to inject a liquid diet (tube feeding), and some patients administer nutrition by infusion. Then, oral dietary intake is stopped, and from that time on, the patient is deprived of the pleasure of eating and tasting.
[0008]
Therefore, the present invention provides a cannula capable of safely ingesting food orally for patients suffering from dysphagia and repeating swallowing.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The cannula with a tampon of the present invention includes a tampon that can be inserted and removed from a tracheostomy, in which a cannula having an arm portion on a tube inserted into the trachea from the tracheostomy is expanded by moisture to block the trachea just below the glottis. It is characterized by being.
[0010]
The tampon-equipped cannula of the present invention can be obtained by inserting a tampon into the patient's tracheostomy in front of the tracheostomy and inserting the tracheostomy cannula into the caudal side of the patient. The tampon inserted through the tracheal incision prevents erroneous swallows from flowing into the trachea due to swallowing disorders without adversely affecting mastication and swallowing, even in patients with reduced swallowing power. It does not develop pneumonia and allows oral dietary intake.
