洗濯乾燥機は、衣類の洗濯行程に続けて洗濯兼脱水槽内の衣類に温風を接触させて乾燥させる乾燥行程を備えるものであるが、衣類の乾燥のみを行なうものとして衣類乾燥機が周知である。かかる衣類乾燥機において、回転ドラムに温風を供給して衣類を乾燥させるとともに、少なくとも抗菌性、抗黴性、防臭性、防虫性のいずれか一種の性状を有する薬剤を揮発拡散させて衣類に抗菌、抗黴、防臭、防虫処理ができるようにしたものがある。

これは、例えば、衣類を転動攪拌する回転ドラム内への送風経路に乾燥用ヒータを設け、回転ドラムと熱交換型ファンをモータにより駆動して回転ドラム内に温風を送り、回転ドラム内に少なくとも抗菌性、抗黴性、防臭性、防虫性のいずれか一種の性状を有する薬剤を気化供給する薬剤供給手段と、前記薬剤供給手段を加熱する加熱手段とを備えるものである(例えば特許文献1参照)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記従来技術は、衣類の乾燥のみを目的とした衣類乾燥機において抗菌、抗黴、防臭、防虫処理をなすもので、衣類の乾燥に深くかかわり、その前段階である衣類の洗浄を行なう洗濯機や、洗濯の行程と乾燥行程とを続けて行なう機能を有する洗濯乾燥機においては、衣類の防臭、防虫などを目的とした処理はなされていないため、衣類の抗菌、抗黴、防臭、防虫管理としては十分なものとはいえなかった。

この発明の目的は前記従来例の不都合を解消し、洗濯機や洗濯乾燥機など洗濯機能を有する機器においても、衣類の黄ばみや防黴、防臭を図ることができ、衣類の傷みを防止できる洗濯機および洗濯乾燥機を提供することにある。

この発明は前記目的を達成するため、請求項1記載の本発明は、外箱と、この外箱内に洗濯兼脱水槽を回転自在に配設し、外気を吸込み、洗濯兼脱水槽内に外気を供給する手段を備える洗濯機において、供給する外気の吹出口周辺または外気の供給通路周辺に、揮発性の抗酸化成分を含有する材料を搭載し、前記洗濯兼脱水槽内に抗酸化成分を拡散させることを特徴とする。

以下、図面についてこの発明の実施の形態を詳細に説明する。図1はこの発明の第1実施形態を示す洗濯機の縦断側面図で、洗濯兼脱水槽内に外気を供給する手段を備えるものであり、かかる洗濯機の全体構成から説明する。
